聖賢의 ‘氣象’으로서의 아리스토텔레스의 Phronesis

본고에서는 ‘權‘의 판단에 필요한 외계에 대한 적절한 행위 판단을 행할 수 있는 마음의 작용을 주희가『大學』에 유래하는 ‘慮‘에서 찾았음을 지적한 후에, 그것과 아리스토텔레스의『니코마코스윤리학』에 보이는 ‘賢慮‘와 헤르바르트의 교육적 택트 이론과의 비교를 시도한다. 주희에 의하면 ‘慮‘는 대상에 대한 단순한 지식과 달리, 실제로 외물에서 작용해 온 단계에 있어서 대상에 대해서 작용하는 널리 두루 미치는 사려에 머물지 않고, 지향하는 행위에 도달하기까지 탐구를 진행해 가는 것이어서, 거기에서 개별 장면의 도리에 따른 행위에 진입하는 것이다. 이는 보편적인 행위 윤리를 고려하면서, 개별 상황도 고려에 넘는 실천지인 아리스토텔레스의 ‘賢慮‘로서 이해할 수 있다. 그리고 아리스토텔레스에 의하면 ‘賢慮‘있는 사람인 ‘프로니모스‘가 되는 데는 감정을 억제하는 단계에서 습관에 의한 덕의 완성으로라는 일련의 과정을 밟지 않으면 안 된다. 이러한 프로니모스는 항상 악으로 흘러갈 가능성을 내포하고 있는 情을 性으로 統御할 수 있어서 눈앞에 나타나는 외물에 대한 적절한 대응을 행할 수 있는 마음의 상태를 항상 유지하는 성인에 견줄 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 실천의 영역에서 개별이 보편보다 진실이라고 하는 아리스토텔레스의 견해는 주희의 ‘權‘설이 理의 발현을 개별적 상황에서 찾았다고 하는 의미를 생각할 때의 참고가 된다. 교육학에서의 이론과 실천과의 매개의 문제에 대해서, 교육적 택트의 개념으로 착수한 헤르바르트는 아리스토텔레스의 ‘賢慮‘를 자신의 행위론에 도입한다. 그에 의하면 택트를 실행하는 것은 교육적 상황을 파악해서 그 상황의 의미를 이해하는 것이며, 그 순간에서 행하는 것이 무엇인가 그리고 어떻게 행해야만 하는가를 이해하는 것이고 그 결과 올바른 것을 행함을 의미한다. 따라서 교육적 택트는 교육현장에서의 상황 상황의 적합한 상태를 구하는 것이고, 이른바 ‘時中‘에 따른 교육적 판단으로서 이해될 것이다. ‘時中‘은 ‘權‘을 성립시키는 개념이다. 이와 같이 성현의 氣象의 설명으로서도 이해할 수 있는 아리스토텔레스의 ‘賢慮‘라는 개념은, 교육학 영역에서 택트로서 응용되었다. 그것은 더 나아가서는 ‘權‘을 부연하는 개념으로서도 이해할 수 있음을 시사하며, 주자학의 보편성을 생각하는 단서도 됨을 알 수 있을 것이다. In this thesis, I am trying to make a comparison between Lu(慮), after pointing out the fact that Zhu-Xi(朱熹) sought out the function of mind, which enables to practice a judgment concerning appropriate behavior toward outer world that will require for the judgment of Quan(權) in ﾕ that derived from Da Xue 大學, and Phronesis(賢慮) that appeared in 『『Nicomachean Ethics』 by Aristotle and Educational Tact Theory of Herbart. According to Zhu-Xi, Lu is, different from simple knowledge about subjects, not staying at the widely spread virtue of Thoughts or Consideration that affects the subjects in the stage of actual functions in outer world, but it is to keep proceeding quests until accomplishing the behavior, and at that point of accomplishment, it is to enter into a behavior in accordance with principle(Li 理) of each individual situation. This can be understood as Aristotles Phronesis that is actual practice or realization in consideration of each individual situation on the basis of universal behavioral ethics. And Aristotles argue that in the aspect of practical domain individuality is more true than universality can be a good reference when considering the fact that Zhu-Xi, in his Quan theory, searched for manifestation of principle(Li) in individual situation. And educational tact is to look for an appropriate state depending on each different situation of the locale of education. It can be understood as educational judgment according to, so to speak Shizhong(時中). Shizhong, is a concept that completes Quan. As above, Aristotles Phronesis concept, which may be understood by the sages explanations likewise, has been applied as a tact to the area of education. Furthermore, it suggests that it can be construed as a concept that will explain the Quan, and also it is a clue that will lead to a thought of universality of Zhu Xi School.

논자는 한국과 일본에서의 주자학 연구 동향 등에 관한 논문을 한국과 일본에서 3편 발표한 적이 있다. 이들 논문의 공통된 주장은 주희의 원자료로 되돌아가라이다. 이것은 본고의 표제이기도 하고 결론이 되며, 최근 일본의 주자학 연구에서 두드러지게 보이는 「주자어류」와 「주자문집」의 역주 작업의 의미와도 무관하지 않을 것이다. 본고는 크게 세 부분으로 나누어져 전개된다. 먼저, 2006년부터 2009년까지 일본에서 발표된 주희 사상에 관한 연구 논문을 중심으로 주희 사상의 현장성에 대해서 논하고자 한다. 다음으로는 현재 일본 전국의 거점대학을 중심으로 이루어지고 있는 「주자어류」의 역주 작업의 진행과정이다. 마지막으로 한국에서도 번역된 「북송도학사」(「道學の形成」)의 저자인 쓰치다 겐지로(土田健次?)가 대학원수업에서 「주자어류」를 독해하기 위해서 제시한 사전.참고서 등의 공구서를 소개하고자 한다. 주지의 사실처럼 「주자어류」는 전 140권으로 주희와 제자사이의 문답과 강의를 기록한 것으로, 주희의 거대한 지적 세계가 펼치는 현장을 엿볼 수 있는 공간이다. 이 공간을 강호의 학형들과 함께 거닐 날을 기하고 싶다. 이를 위해서는 지연과 학연에 얽매어 문어항아리형화된 학문적 교류의 분단 상황을 타파해야 할 것이다. 論者は韓?と日本における朱子??究の動向などについての論文を韓?と日本で三編?表したことがある。それら論文の共通の主張は朱熹の原資料へ?ろうということである。これは本稿の表題でも結論でもあって、最近日本の朱子?の?究において著しくみえる?朱子語類?と?朱子文集?の?注作業の意味と?わりがないわけではなかろう。本稿は大きく三つに分けて展開する。まず、2006年から2009年まで日本において?表された朱熹の思想に?する?究論文を中心にして朱熹思想の現場性について論じる。次に現在日本全?の?点大?を中心にして行われている?朱子語類?の?注作業の進行過程である。最後に韓?でも??された?道學の形成?の著者である土田健次?が大?院授業において?朱子語類?を?解するために提示した?書 と?考書などを紹介する。周知の通り?朱子語類?は全140?で朱熹と門人との間における問答と講義を記?したものであって、朱熹の巨大な知的世界を繰り?げられる現場を窺える空間である。この空間を江湖の?兄達と共にふらつく日を期する。そのために地?と??に縛られタコツボ化された?問的交流の分??況を打破するべきである。

분산 저장된 천문 디지털자료의 통합관리시스템 구현에 관한 연구

한국천문연구원의 지역천문대인 보현산천문대, 소백산천문대, 레몬산천문대의 관측자료 활용을 용이하게 해주는 통합관리 시스템을 구축하였다. 관측자료는 생산된 천문대 각각에 아카이브로 보관하며, 통합시스템에는 관측자료에 관한 MySQL 테이블만 저장한다. 지역천문대와 통합시스템에는 각각 관리자가 있어 자료의 보관 및 헤더정보 추출, 테이블 생성 및 웹 페이지 관리 등을 역할 분담하여 수행한다. 사용자는 통합시스템의 웹 검색페이지 한곳에서 모든 천문대의 관측자료를 검색할 수 있으며 다운로드 또한 검색결과 페이지에서 가능하다. 통합시스템에서 독립된 각각의 천문대 아카이브로 쿼리를 보내 검색하는 방식은 가상천문대의 기본개념과 동일하다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 국제가상천문대 사업에 참여하는 한국가상천문대 구축 작업의 일환이기도 하다. We constructed the integrated management system of distributed astronomical data of Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory(BOAO), Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory (SOAO), and Mt. Lemmon Optical Astronomy Observatory(LOAO). The observed data was stored in the archive of the observatory and MySQL table is saved in the integrated management system. There are data archive managers in the observatories and they manage the integrated management system such as data storing, head information extraction, table generation, and management of web pages, etc. The users can search and download all the data in the integrated management system web page. The concept of this system - send queries from web page to the observatory archives - is the same of the basic concept of virtual observatory. This research is one of the main work in the Korean virtual observatory which is take part in the international virtual observatory alliance.

DIGITIZED SKY SURVEY I 자료의 검색 DB 구축

The First Generation Digitized Sky Survey (DSS-I) is a collection of digitized photographic atlases of the night sky taken from the Palomar Observatory (northen sky) and the Anglo-Australian Observatory (southern sky). DSS-I is widely used by the astronomical community for a number of applications including object cross-identification and astrometry. However, accessing and retrieving the actual images are nontrivial owing to the huge size (> 60 GB) of the dataset. To facilitate retrieval process of DSS-I data for the public, Korean Astronomical Data Center (KADC) developed a web application that provides not only data retrieval but also visualization functions. The web application consists of several modules developed using Java Applet, Jave Servlet, and JaveServer Pages (JSP) technologies. It allows users to retrieve images efficiently in various formats such as FITS, JPEG, GIF, and TIFF, and also offers an interactive visulization tool, ImgViewer, for displaying/analyzing FITS images. To use the web application, users require a Java-enabled web browser.

보현산천문대 관측자료 Archive 시스템 설계 및 구축

Korean Astronomical Data Center (KADC, http://kadc.kao.re.kr) in Korea Astronomy Observatory (KAO) has constructed an archive of Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory (BOAO) 1.8m telescope data. The archive is consisted of photometric (1KCCD, 2KCCD) and spectroscopic data of 400GB amount for the period of 1997 to 2002,and the first web service is made of the data from 1997 to 2001. In the search page, primary search criterion of object name or coordinates is used. Users can also refine the search criteria using parameters such as observation date, observer(s), data type, and/or instrument. The data identified from the search can be uploaded to the FTP site for further downloading in FITS format. This archive is the first DB of astronomical data made in Korea.
