        클로렐라를 첨가한 요구르트의 제조와 품질특성

        Yogurt base was prepared from skim milk added with 0.2~1.0% (w/v) chlorella powder and fermented with lactic acid bacteria (the mixed strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum and Streptococcus thermophilus) at 40oC for 12~18 h. Quality characteristics of the yogurt were evaluated in terms of acid production (pH and titratable acidity), number of viable cells, viscosity and sensory properties. The addition of chlorella powder stimulated the growth of lactic acid bacteria and remarkably enhanced the acid production. After 12 h incubation, titratable acidity of chlorella yogurt was 1.16~1.33% and was higher than that (1.02%) of yogurt made with only skim milk. However, the viscosity of yogurt was decreased by the addition of chlorella powder. The sensory score of yogurt added with 0.2% chlorella powder was similar to ordinary yogurt in taste and overall acceptability. When chlorella yogurt was kept at 4oC for 15 days, its quality-keeping properties except for number of viable cells were relatively good. According to sensory score and storage ability, the optimum concentration of chlorella powder was around 0.2%.

        대학수학능력시험 외국어(영어)영역에 영향을 미치는 요인들

        As an attempt to characterize the English test section of CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test) and to get some suggestions, this study raised the research questions, as 'What are the main factors that affect students' English test scores in CSAT, and how big influences do they have?' It has been hypothesized that among main factors are the L1 competence, represented by the Korean test scores in CSAT, background knowledge or intelligence, represented by the "total" scores in CSAT, and the two types of L2 knowledge (vocabulary and grammar on one hand and prosody on the other hand), measured by the test devised specially for this study. The individual effect of the L2 vocabulary and grammar (one kind of L2 knowledge) was 70%, that of background knowledge or intelligence 61%, that of the L1 competence 50%, and that of the L2 prosody knowledge (the other kind of L2 knowledge) 32%. According to the stepwise regression, the whole effect of these four factors was 74%. The findings suggest that first, although CSAT is based on the top-down model of comprehension, the bottom-up model of learning should be more emphasized in our English class. Also, since background knowledge or intelligence is the second most influential factor, the top-down model of learning that helps students learn to understand by activating their various schemata must also be very effective.

        홍채앞유착이 있는 환자에서 전층각막이식 시 각막 부분층 박리를 이용한 유착박리술 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of anterior synechiolysis with lamellar corneal dissection in penetrating keratoplasty. Case summary: In an eye with graft failure and anterior synechiae, we performed anterior synechiolysis with a healon needle after lamellar dissection using vacuum trephine to visualize the anterior chamber during penetrating keratoplasty. Additionally, the remnant corneal layer was removed using corneal scissors. A donor cornea was harvested using a vacuum trephine and the corneal button was sewn in place with 10-0 nylon. We observed a well grafted cornea and well formed anterior chamber with no anterior synechiae observed on follow-up. Conclusions: In patients with anterior synechiae, the cornea can be dissected from the anterior synechiae completely using lamellar corneal dissection in penetrating keratoplasty to visualize the anterior chamber. The goal of treatment in infertile couples, or to the pursuit of individual happiness through surrogacy and assisted reproductive technology used around the world, if the birth is a growing trend. Korea also is difficult to conceive a baby for the couple enough to support the cost of assisted reproductive technology (ART) Assisted Reproductive Technology where we are situated very close to. However, if the light through the darkness as assisted reproductive technology (ART) azoospermia or ovaries, uterus there is a problem to get the baby they made possible, while the donor, egg donor, and genes on the relationships with parents, surrogate mother gave birth played with the like a tangled skein relations and accordingly the legal status of the baby can be a problem.         각막에 의한 수정체전낭절개의 확대효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure the magnification of the capsulorhexis by the cornea using open ring guided capsulorhexis (ORGC) during cataract surgery. The study also investigated the magnification changes according to anterior chamber depth and corneal power. Methods: The subjects comprised 40 eyes from 37 patients whose astigmatism was lower than 0.25 D and who had cataract surgery using ORGC from December 2011 to April 2012. ORGC was set on the anterior capsule and photographs were obtained using a camera connected to a surgical microscope after attaching a ruler around the limbus. The pixel number of 5 mm gradations on a ruler and the inner diameter of ORGC were measured using ImageJ. The inner diameter of ORGC was known to be 5.30 mm and the size of ORGC in the snapshot was therefore calculated by proportional expression. After corneal power and anterior chamber depth were identified, the magnification effect was evaluated. Results: The 37 subjects were composed of 19 males and 21 females, and their average age was 64.8 years. The average depth of the anterior chamber was 3.28 mm, and the average corneal power was 43.534 D. The measured inner diameter of ORGC was 6.14 mm (SD: ±0.16 mm) and the average magnification of the capsulorhexis was 115.9% (SD: ±3.1%). The results showed that in the case of shallow anterior depth and low corneal power, the magnification was low equivalent to 110%. However, when the anterior chamber was deep and the corneal power was high, the magnification was greatly increased to 120%. Conclusions: The capsulorhexis was magnified to an average of 115.9% by the cornea during cataract surgery. In particular, it is necessary to consider capsulorhexis size in cases with deep anterior chamber and high corneal power, because the magnification will be greater in those cases.         뇌수막종에 의한 각막 천공 후 생긴 교감성 안염 1예

        목적: 지속적으로 재발하는 접형골 뇌수막종 환자에서 심한 안구돌출을 동반한 노출성 각막염으로 인해 각막 천공이 발생하여 교감성안염까지 이른 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: 수년 전부터 좌측 거대 접형골 뇌수막종으로 인해 좌측 안구돌출이 심해지는 34세 여자환자가 여러 차례에 걸친 제거술과 방사선치료에도 불구하고 노출성 각막염에 의한 각막천공이 발생하였다. 천공부위로 홍채 탈출이 보여 안구적출을 계획하던 중 양안의 전방 염증반응과 반대쪽 눈에서 각막후면침착물, 삼출성 망막박리와 망막의 다발성 육아종성 결절들이 관찰되었다. 교감성 안염 의심하에 좌안 안구적출과 종양 용적 축소술을 시행한 후 고용량 스테로이드 치료를 시행하였다. 5개월 후 우안의 전방 염증은 없으며, 시신경 염증 및 삼출성 망막박리 소견도 회복을 보였다. 결론: 악성 접형골 뇌수막종에 의해 좌안 안구돌출이 지속되어 발생한 노출성각막염이 보전적 치료에도 불구하고 각막 천공에 이르렀으며, 이런 경우 반대안까지 침범하는 교감성 안염이 발생할 수 있음을 유의하며 치료해야겠다. Purpose: To describe a case of sympathetic ophthalmia due to corneal perforation caused by exposure keratitis in a patient with recurrent sphenoid wing meningioma. Case summary: A 34-year-old female patient presented with proptosis in her left eye caused by left sphenoid greater wing meningioma despite tumor debulking surgery and radiation treatment. The cornea was perforated with prolapsed iris due to exposure keratitis, thus enucleation of the left eye was performed. After 2 weeks, an inflammatory reaction occurred in both eyes, keratic precipitates on corneal endothelium, exudative retinal detachment, and multiple granulomatous nodules on the right eye retina. The patient was diagnosed with sympathetic ophthalmia, thus enucleation of the left eye and debulking of the tumor were performed followed by a high-dose intravenous steroid therapy. At 5 months postoperatively, slit lamp biomicroscope showed no chamber reaction; improved disc swelling and exudative retinal detachment in the right eye were observed. Conclusions: Despite conservative treatment for exposure keratitis due to proptosis caused by malignant sphenoid meningioma,corneal perforation can develop. Because sympathetic ophthalmia can occur, the other eye should be monitored.

      • 초등학교 아동들의 공간포섭에 대한 이해

        본 연구에서는 초등학교 사회과의 지리 학습에서 아동들의 공간인지가 어떠한 단계를 거쳐 형성되는지 파악하기 위해 공간 포섭에 대한 이해도 수준을 조사하고, 학생들의 공간포섭 이해 수준에 이르게 된 사적요인들을 살펴보고자 함에 그 목적이 있다. 아울러 이는 학습자의 공간인지발달에 대한 이해에 도움을 줄 것이며, 이를 적용한 지리 학습 방법에도 많은 시사점을 주리라 생각된다. 이를 위해 대구광역시 북구 동변동 소재의 동변초등학교 1학년에서 6학년까지 각 학년 당 한 학급씩을 임의 표집하여 초등학교 학생들의 공간 포섭에 대한 이해도 수준을 그래픽적으로 나타내는 방법을 통해 공간포섭에 대한이해도 발달이 어떻게 이루어지는지를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 초등학교 1학년에서 6학년 아동들의 공간 포섭에 의한 공간 인지 발달은 점진적으로 이루어졌으며, 초등학교 5~6학년 수준에서 5개 스케일(동, 구, 시, 국가, 대륙)에서 공간포섭이 완성 단계에 이른다고 할수 있다. 특히 공간포섭 완성단계에 이르기 전인 4학년(만10세)의 아동들은 공간 포섭을 통한 공간인지에서 결정적 시기에 해당하는 시기이므로 그 발달 과업을 이룰 수 있도록 다양한 학습방법을 통한 공간 학습이 필요한 시기임을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 공간포섭 경향성에서 벗어나는 아동들의 면접을 통해 공간포섭을 통한 공간인지 정도를 언어성 문답을 통해 살펴본 결과로는 그래픽적 표현보다는 상위의 수준의 공간인지 발달을 보였으며, 더 나아가 구체물 조작을 통해서 공간 스케일이 큰 것 순서대로 배열해 보기와 같은 스케일 지역으로 분류해 보기를 하였을 때 더욱 상위 수준의 공간포섭 수준이 나타난 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 초등학교 아동들의 인지적 특성을 이용하여 초등학교 사회과 지리 영역에서의 공간학습이 이루어져야 함을 의미한다. 초등학교 아동에게 공간 학습을 함에 있어 다양한 방법으로의 접근이 필요하며, 특히 공간 인지 발달의 결정적 시기인 초등학교 4학년 아동에게는 구체적 조작기에서 형식적 조작기로 넘어가는 과도기적 인지적 특징을 보임을 알고, 언어나 문자를 통한 학습과 아울러 구체물을 통해 공간 범위 그려보기 활동이나 지도학습에서 지리적 스케일이 다른지역의 퍼즐을 이용하여 더욱 상위 스케일 지역 완성해 보기 활동 등을 통해 공간 포섭에 대한 발달 과업을 이루도록 하는 것이 아주 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 끝으로 공간 인지의 발달에 있어서도 다른 인지발달과 마찬가지로 직접적 이면서 적극적인 공간 경험이 학습자의 공간포섭 능력이나 공간인지력을 높이는데 큰 영향을 미쳤다. In order to examine the stages that children go through for the formation of spatial cognition, this study surveyed elementary schoolchildren``s understanding of nested hierarchy of space and analyzed personal factors involved in their understanding of nested hierarchy of space. For this purpose, we sampled at random a class from each of 1st-to6th grade classes at Dongbyeon Elementary School in Dongbyeon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, and examined their development in understanding nested hierarchy of space through representing their understanding level of nested hierarchy of space in graph. According to the results, 1st-to6th grade children showed gradual development of spatial cognition by nested hierarchy of space, and children in the 5th and 6th grade reached the completion stage of nested hierarchy of space. In particular, 4th -graders(10 year old) before the completion stage of nested hierarchy of space were in a crucial period for the development of spatial cognition through nested hierarchy of space, so they were in need of spatial learning through various learning methods so that they would complete the development smoothly. We interviewed children who deviated from the tendencies of nested hierarchy of space and examined their spatial cognition through nested hierarchy of space by verbal questions and answers. According to the results, they showed spatial cognition development higher than graphic expressions. Furthermore, when the children classified areas in order of spatial scale and same-scale areas through concrete operation, they showed a higher level of understanding of nested hierarchy of space. This means that elementary schoolchildren``s cognitive characteristics should be reflected in their spatial learning in Geography of elementary Social Studies. Elementary schoolchildren need spatial learning using various methods. In particular, 4th-graders who are in a critical period for spatial cognition development, show cognitive characteristics transitional from the concrete operational stage to the formal operational stage, so it is important to achieve development for nested hierarchy of space through, in addition to verbal or text-based learning, activities such as drawing the scope of space using a concrete material or completing higher-scale areas using the puzzles of areas in different geographical scales. Moreover, it will be greatly helpful to spatial cognition to provide diverse direct spatial experiences.
