N/A The coronary angiograms in 49 anginal patients were reviewed by measuring the coronary diameter to catheter width ratio in the proximal portion of 3 major coronary branches. 1) The subjects were composed of stable angina (20 patients), unstable angina (7 patients) and post-infarct angina (22 patients). 2) The most frequently involved vessel was the left anterior descending branch. 3) In the left anterior descending branch, coronary diameter to catheter width ratios were significantly reduced in stable angina with both <50% and 50%> obstruction and in post-infarct angina with more than 50% obstruction. Thus we thought that the reduced coronary diameter may be a contributory cause of angina.
Hybrid GA-PID WAVENET 제어기를 이용한 모형 헬리콥터 시스템의 자세 제어

본 논문에서는 대표적인 비선형 동특성을 가지는 실제 헬리콥터의 회전 빛 자세 운동을 근사화한 모형 헬리콥터의 시스템을 소개하고 이 시스템의 정지 자세 제어를 위하여 WAVENET 제어기와 PID 제어기를 설계하였으며. WAVENET의 신경망 연결 가중치(weight) 및 웨이브렛의 신축 및 이동변수와 PID 제어기의 죄적 이득 계수를 GA를 사용하여 조정되도록 하였다. 그리고 과도 응답 특성이 우수한 WAVENET 제어기와 정상 상태 특성이 우수한 GA-PID 제어기를 Hybrid 형태로 구성한 Hybrid GA-PID WAVENET 제어기를 비선형 시스템인 모형 헬리콥터 시스템에 적용하여 제안한 제어기 설계 알고리즘의 유효성과 우수성을 입증하고자 한다.

원형지하매설관의 경우 관의 하단부의 다짐이 매우 어렵고, 또한 다짐효율이 떨어져서 지하매설물의 안정성을 저감시키고, 이로 인해 각종 파손이 발생하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 하나의 대안으로 저강도 콘크리트 개념을 지반공학에 적용하여 만들어진 CLSM을 이용하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지의 CLSM 실내실험결과를 이용하여 현장적용성 시험을 하기 위한 중간단계로서 베딩재, 뒤채움재, 관의 종류를 변화시킨 20가지 사례에 대한 PENTAGON 유한요소 프로그램을 이용하여 수치해석을 실시하였다. 수치해석을 실시한 결과 뒤채움재로 CLSM을 사용하는 경우에 토사나 일반모래를 사용한 경우보다 지표면 및 관의 침하를 현저히 감소시키는 것으로 해석되었다. 관의 연직변위를 놓고 볼 때 토사 뒤채움을 사용한 경우에 연성관의 변위량이 강성관의 2배 정도에 달했으나 CLSM으로 대체한 경우에는 오히려 토사 뒤채움에 강성관을 사용한 경우보다 변위가 줄어들었다. CLSM 뒤채움에 강성관을 사용한 경우도 유사하게 나타났고, CLSM이 구조적인 지지 역할을 확실히 함을 보여준다. During construction of circular lifeline pipe, the non-proper compaction along the pipe and the decrease of compaction efficiency are the main problems to induce the failure of underground pipe. The use of CLSM(controlled low strength materials) is one of the applications to overcome those problems. In this research, the numerical analysis by PENTAGON FEM program was carried out for 20 cases with the couple of combinations on bedding materials, backfill materials, and pipes. From the FEM analysis, the use of CLSM as backfill materials reduced the settlement of ground surface and the deformation of pipe employed. In case of the vertical deformation on the pipe, common soil backfill for flexible pipes showed 2 times for rigid pipes, but CLSM backfill case did less deformation than the soil backfill for rigid pipes. CLSM backfills for rigid pipes showed the similar results. Judging from the FEM analysis, the use of CLSM increases the structure capacity of the underground pipes.

N/A It is evident that an elevation of urinary albumin excretion rate without clinical proteinuria strongly predicts a later progression of diabetic renal disease. Diabetic patients with normal or elevated resting albumm excretion rate show marked albuminuric response to physical exercise compared with matched non- diabetic controls. Employing treadmill test with exercise protocol of modified Bruce (stage II), we studied three groups: 7 normal controls, 11 type II diabetic patients (Group I) with normal urinary albumin excretion (AER<15 μg/ min) and 4 type 11 diabetics (Group II) with elevated urinary albumin excretion (AERa15 μg/min). The results are as follows: 1) In normal controls urinary albumin excretion rate was not increased after exercise. 2) In Group I patients (AER: 5.5±4.2 μg/min), urinary albumin excretion was increased to 7.8±10.8 μg/min after exercise. 3) In Group II (AER: 40.6±11.4 μg/min), urinary albumin excretion was increased to 92.0±35.8 μg/min after exercise, which was significantly higher than those observed in Group I. 4) Blood pressure and heart rate was not significantly different between normal controls and type II diabetic patients before and during exercise stress test. 5) There was poor correlation between diabetes duration or HgbAlc and maximal change in albumin excretion rate after exercise.

N/A We studied the electrocardiographic changes which were induced by injection of radiopaque contrast media during selective coronary angiography in 16 patients with chest pain. Electrocardiograms were obtained before, during and after selective coronary angiography. Electrocardiographic changes were a according to kinds and numbers of diseased coronary vessels. After selective coronary angiography, electrocardiographic finding showed more frequent changes of T wave than those of S-T segment in 12-standard lead. And there was no difference of electrocardiographic changes between normal groups and abnormal groups of coronary angiograhic finding. During coronary angiography, prolongation of Q-T interval was initiated about 4 sec after contrast media was injected into coronary artery and persisted for 8 see nearly. Also Q-T interval was significantly prolonged during coronary angiography when was compared with precoronary angiography (p<0.01). We concluded that changes of T wave were more prominent and prolongation of Q-T interval could be warning sign of ventricular fibrillation.

N/A Backgrounds: In diabetic mellitus, many patients complain seveal symptoms cause by diabetic neuropathy. Those symptoms are including nausea, vomiting and abdominal discomfort. Erythromycin, a macrolide antibiotic, has recently been motilin like effect on gastointestinal muscles, which induces phase 3 activity that start in the stomach. Radioactive isotope is now best method for measuring gastic emptying time. Methods: First study is measuring of tincolloid labelling efficiency in gastric juice. Second study, we are evaluated the effect of erythromycin on patients with delayed gastric emptying and healthy subjects using the radionuclide technique. Twelve patients with diabetic gastoparesis and ten control subjects join in our study. Gastric emptying of solid food was determined using 99m Tc tincolloid egg. After 3 day, each patients was performed with same method after injection of intravenous erythromycin 200 mg. Results: Labelling efficiency of 99m Tc tincolloid is very satisfaction (mean±SD=87.2±4.39). Gastric emptying time is delayed in diabetic gastroparesis patients domparison with control subjects. After erythromycin injection, gastric emptying time is shortened. The time is about 1/3 than pre-eythromycin injection in patients. sixty minutes after ate meals, mean ejection fraction was 19.3% (pre-EM inject), 64.4% (post EM inject), 51.9% (control group). Conclusion: Erythromycin, mimic effect of the motilin, appears to be a very powerful gastrokinetic drug. So that erythromycin may have therapeutic effect in patient with severe diabetic gastroparesis.
