This study was carried out to implement real-time physical model for the flow analysis in the oscillating chamber and the pneumatic turbine of the OWC(Oscillating Water Column)-type wave power generator. This device is a system that extracts energy by rotating the turbine by repeating the vertical motion of a water column in an air chamber by an incident wave. The turbine is operated by the pressure difference between the air chamber and the outside atmosphere. A digital twin model is required for efficient operation and maintenance of wave generator. It is a technology that can control the real model by predicting the phenomenon in real time after N seconds based on the physical model and the sensor data model. In this study, a real-time flow analysis physical model was implemented from the energy conservation equation to predict the air pressure in the chamber. In order to build a physical model, three-dimensional flow analysis data in the turbine were considered. To validate this analytical model, the air pressure in the chamber was compared to the experimental data and showed good quantitative agreement over the entire time.

This study was carried out for design verification based on CAE of double piping system used in LNG fuel supply system. The double pipe is composed of an inner pipe through which LNG flows, an outer pipe through which air flows, and support for supporting between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. In order to apply the developed double piping system to the fuel supply system, it is necessary to secure air circulation characteristics, heat stability, structure stability, and vibration safety against gas leakage. Therefore, the verification of multiphysics research is required. The double piping used for LNG fuel supply system is an important equipment used in the engine room of LNG propulsion ships and safety design is very important because of the risk of secondary damage caused by LNG leakage. Therefore, in this study, multiphysics CAE technology is applied to review the safety while satisfying the design requirements of the developed double pipe. Considering the pressure loss of the fan, machine engine and pipeline, the predicted actual flow condition was predicted within the allowable flow range. In addition, the structural and dynamic stability analysis showed that the support operates in the safe area.

Asymmetric self-diffracted beams are appeared both even when the Bragg diffraction condition is satisfied and the modulation refractive index is large in photorefractive materials. To explain asymmetric diffraction efficiencies of the self-diffracted beams, we derived an approximate analytic solution based on the coupled wave equations.

We fabricate porphyrin : Zn doped liquid crystal and observe a photorefractive effect by means of two beam coupling experiment. Real-time diffraction efficiency are also measured for various applied electric fields. To explain such photorefractive effect, we analyze the material equations for liquid crystal and compare with the experimental results, showing good agreement.

We derived an expression of space charge field in photorefractive moving gratings from the standard photorefractive material equations and measured the damped oscillation signals by two beam coupling experiment. The expression showed good agreement with theoretical result.

Holographic recording and erasure kinetics in a home-made photopolymer film are investigated as a function of monomer concentration and spatial frequency. We also measured phase shifts of index grating and absorption grating by moving holographic photopolymer gratings along a direction of grating wave vector.
