After analysing the relationship between elementary school students’ preference for Physical education classes, their relationship to Friendship, Exercise performance competence, and School life attitudes, the following conclusions were obtained. Firstly, the preferences for physical education classes were in the order of sixth-grade male students, sixth-grade female students, fifth-grade male students, and fifth-grade female students, with high overall preferences for physical education. Secondly, friendship relationships were found to be enjoyable for both male and female students in the fifth and sixth grades, and the degree of preference for physical education classes had a significant impact on friendship. Third, in terms of “effort factors” and “confidence factors,” male students were found to be higher than female students. In terms of “jointness” factors, sixth-grade girls were significantly higher in encouragement from friends and teachers, and in the category of “friends" recommendation to exercise,” boys were higher than girls. The degree of preference in physical education classes has a significant impact on the sense of competence in sports performance. Lastly, school life attitudes tended to be higher in 5th grade than in 6th grade in terms of “challenge, persistence, and confidence,” while 5th grade girls tended to have higher “persistence” factors. In terms of “goals and hopes,” male and female students in the fifth grade were found to be high overall. The degree of preference for physical education classes has been shown to have a significant impact on school life attitudes.

Pleural effusion in a patient with multiple myeloma due to plasma cell involvement of the pleura has been reported infrequently. We report a case of multiple myeloma with pleural involvement presenting bone pain and dyspnea in a 69-year-o1d woman. On the physical examination, the patient looked chronically ill with bedridden state. There was a palpable mass on the left posterior lower chest, firm but not tender and decreased breathing sound in the left lower lung. Laboratory finding revealed amemia, elevation of ESR, globulin, and calcium. X-ray of the chest showed pleural effusion in the left lower lung, and multiple pathologic fractures in the both ribs. X-ray of the skull, and pelvis revealed multiple punched-out osteolytic fractures in the both ribs. X-ray of the skull, and pelvis revealed multiple punched-out osteolytic lesion, and compression fracture in the lumber spine. Serum and urine electrophoresis revealed a M-spike. Serum and urine immunoelectrophoresis demonstrated an IgA-kappa monoclonal protein. Thoracentesis revealed serosanguinous fluid but not containing atypical plasma cells. Bone marrow examination showed 16.7% of immature plasma cells. With first cycle of melphalan, prednisone chemotherapy, improvement of pain and disappearance of pleural effusion was observed.
