This paper focuses on building multiple robot simulation program controlling the robots via wireless internet and inter-process communication. We tested the proposed simulation program in real heterogeneous multiple robot systems. One of them is TRESTLE project which is a research project in The Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. The robots in the simulation system are as the followings: a mobile manipulators, crane robot, roving eyes. Also it is tested for motion planning of the Nomad Super Scout II. Using the simulation program reduces a lot of time and cost in algorithm development and also reduces the dangerous job of real hardware test. The simulator is useful to make efficient motion plan of multiple robots as well as verification of the safe motion, So it saves time and cost and reduces possible safety problem.

This article pays attention to historical differentia of the essay film, then and now through the essay film as a strategy of critiques of illusionist realism raised by Noel Burch. He was a pioneering writer and critics to identify the essay film as a critically effective work against the background of polemics around the political modernism in the 1970s. And we are now facing an overwhelming flow of essay films in a range of venues including galleries, museums, art theatres, and festivals. They are predominantly seen as the dominant species of moving images, which used to focus on a myriad of formal qualities in a self-sufficient way not to necessarily be based on reality. In this article, I try to explore the historical gap or different the political-aesthetical impulse of essay films produced in a few decades, in particular, to examine the significant work, The Forgotten Space, which was directed by Allan Sekula and Noel Burch. While contributing the note for the work, Noel Burch traced major characters of the essay films in retrospect and adds his own significant remarks about his co-work. Unlike common that political modernism aimed at the refusal of any kind of realism or realist representation of the objective world, Burch tells that “it can only be sampled” of the reality(the globalized capitalism in that case), suggesting that essay film might be a critical measure to capture the reality aginst its un-representability. In short, I try to ask whether the essay films are re-registration of reality or inner immersion within filmic field freed from reality.

색채혁필화 (色彩革筆畵)의 제작기법과 가치에 대한 연구

혁필화는 가죽 조각에 물감을 묻혀 그리는 전통 문자그림이다. 나뭇가지를 짓이겨 붓 대신 쓰는 비백서에서 유래했다. 조선시대 유교이념과 문자도의 상징과 융합하면서, 교육적 기능을 지닌 장식화로 발전했다. 근대 초기 한국에서 생겨난 색채혁필화는 민족의 독창성과 미의식을 잘 반영한다. 혁필화는 거리 위에서 제작하고 감상자와 즉석 소통하는 유일한 민화장르이다. 혁필화는 과거에 전문화가가 그린 작품은 아니지만, 당시 서민의 정서를 짐작하게 하는 중요한 문화자산이다. 가죽 붓의 자연스러운 기법과 유연한 표현으로 작품에서 소박한 전통미를 발견할 수 있다. 작가의 창작과정을 통해 혁필화에는 순수 자기목적성, 전달성, 상징성이 내재한다. 어떻게 보면, 민화의 개념과 요소에 가장 충실한 전통 민화의 전형이라고 할 수 있다. 감상자는 혁필화를 보면서 미적경험 외에도 도덕적, 정서적 경험을 하게 된다. 혁필화는 길상과 벽사의 기능도 지니고 있다. 만일 혁필화가 거리예술로 대중화된다면, 우리 사회의 정체성 확립과 문화관광 도시로서 발전에 도움이 된다. 현재 혁필화는 아쉽게도 평가 절하되어 단절 위기에 있다. 혁필화가 이렇게 쇠퇴한 원인이 과거 방식만 고수했기 때문이라고 본다. 혁필화가 대중에게 관심 받고 예술작품으로서 한 단계 높이 평가되길 바라면서, 이 글에서 혁필화의 가치와 중요성을 강조했다. 우리 문화의 독창적 우수성을 인정받기 위해 다른 문화나 장르와의 차이나 장단(長短)에 너무 집착하면 오히려 건강한 발전이 없다. 다른 미술 분야와 차별되는 혁필화만의 몇몇 특징을 이유로 혁필화의 계승발전의 필요성이나 혁필화의 가치를 주장하기도 어렵다. 옛 비백서 작품의 기법 분석과 적용, 혁필화의 문화 예술적 가치 연구를 통해서, 혁필화가 보편성과 국제성을 확보해야 한다. 혁필화의 대중화를 위해 혁필화 원로작가들에게 전수한 붓 제작방법, 형상 그리는 법 등을 공개한다. 우리 후손에게 혁필화가 오래 계승되어 한국의 고유한 아름다움과 전통 가치가 전달되기 바란다. Hyukpilhwa is a traditional art form that presents a character that is combined with a painted image. Hyukpilhwa is painted with pieces of leather; it originated from the pictorial handwriting style of Bibaekseo(flying white), which is done with the crushed tree branches instead of a brush. In the Joseon Dynasty, it developed into an ornamental painting with educational functions, converging with the symbols of Confucian ideology and Munjado. The Colored-Hyukpilhwa that emerged in Korea during the early modern era reflect the originality and aesthetic sense of the people. Hyukpilhwa is the only folk art that can be created on the streets. The artist communicates instantly with the viewers. Though Hyukpilhwa was not painted by professional painters in the past, it is a record that gives an idea of the sentiments of ordinary people at that time. With the natural technique and flexible expression of leather brush, you can find traditional simple beauty in the art work. Through the artist’s creative process, Hyukpilhwa contains pure autotelie, communicability and symbolism. In a way, it is typical of traditional folk paintings that are most faithful to the concept and elements of folk paintings. While appreciating Hyukpilhwa, the viewer also experiences moral and emotional experiences in addition to aesthetic experiences. Hyukpilhwa also has the function of auspiciousness and mural art. If Hyukpilhwa becomes popular as a street art, it helps us establishing the identity of society and developing a culture and tourism city. Unfortunately, Hyukpilhwa is currently on the verge of being cut off due to devaluation. I believe that the reason for the decline of Hyeokpilhwa is that it has only adhered to its past methods. I emphasize the value and importance of Hyukpilhwa, hoping that it would receive public attention and be highly regarded as a work of art. In order to preserve the original excellence of our culture, we should not evaluate other cultures and genres as differences and pros and cons. It is difficult to argue for the necessity of succession development or the value of Hyukpilhwa, citing some unique characteristics of Hyukpilwa that are different from other art fields. Through the analysis and application of techniques of Bibaekseo and the study of cultural and artistic value of Hyukpilhwa, Hyukpilhwa should secure universality and internationality. For the popularization of Hyukpilhwa, I will reveal how to make leather brushes and how to draw shapes that I have taught to seniors. I hope that the Hyukpilhwa will be inherited for a long time to our descendants, delivering the unique beauty and traditional values of Korea.

공공공간에서 다양한 도시사건의 유형과 서사적 자원으로서의 공간적 관계에 관한 연구

(연구배경 및 목적) 도시 사건은 도시 발전의 중요한 부분으로서 다채로운 도시 생활을 구성한다. 사건은 도시의 독특한 이미지를 보여주었을 뿐만 아니라 도시의 종합 경쟁력을 높이는 효과적인 수단이 되었다. 그리고 서사의 핵심 구성 요소인 사건은 서사적 공간 설계에 풍부한 주제 내용을 제공할 수 있다. 사건을 일종의 서사적 자원으로 보는 사건 요소를 공간에서 주제와 체험의 두 가지 속성으로 활용할 수 있는 내용을 보완한다. 도시 사건의 활용은 도시의 활력을 북돋우고 도시 공간의 질을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 자원을 제공할 수 있다. 향후 서사적 디자인 연구에 중요한 이론적 근거를 제공하고자 한다. (연구방법) 사건과 도시사건의 개념, 그리고 도시사건이 공간디자인 분야에 미치는 영향을 이론적으로 고찰하여 설명한다. 이를 바탕으로 일종의 서사적 디자인자원의 관점에서 다양한 도시사건의 개념을 제시한다. 도시사건을 주제형 사건과 체험형 사건으로 구분하는 정의를 통해 두 사건의 유형 및 내용을 구체적으로 구분한다. 도시사건의 특성으로 도시사건의 선택과 이용에 관한 원칙 및 사건과 도시공간의 관계를 분석한다. 연구내용을 토대로 사례분석의 틀을 만들어 사례연구를 한다. 사례분석 결과에 따라 다양한 도시사건이 도시에서 물리적 공간과 지역 사회생활에서 중요한 역할을 하는지 파악하고자 한다. (결과) 첫째, 사건은 도시를 이해하는 하나의 축소판이며, 도시 경제문화의 지속 가능한 발전과 도시 공간 갱신의 원동력이다. 둘째, 주제형 사건과 체험형 사건이 함께 서사적 자원을 형성하고, 사건 요소가 디자인 과정에서 더 명확한 역할을 담당하도록 한다. 셋째, 도시사건은 서사적 자원으로 선택되고 활용할 때 사안의 특성에 따라 유의해야 할 4가지 원칙을 제시할 수 있다. 다양한 도시사건은 도시의 공간들과 상호작용하는 관계로서 일종의 서사적 자원으로서 사람들의 가치관념과 도시의 발전에 중요한 영향을 끼친다. (결론) 도시는 사건(이야기)와 도시 정체성 확립을 필요로 하고, 이를 바탕으로 문화적 자긍심을 조성한다. 사건의 합리적 활용은 도시의 질과 관심도를 높일 수 있다. 도시마다 서사자원이 뚜렷한 자기특징을 보이고, 도시등급에 따라 도시사건에 대한 연구도 보다 넓은 시각에서 이뤄져야 한다. 본 연구는 도시사건의 중요성을 강조하고 도시사건의 개념과 유형을 재정립하여 사건평가의 원칙을 정하였다. 도시디자인의 사건요소의 선택과 활용에 관한 참고기준을 제공한다. 본문의 연구 성과가 향후 서사적 공공공간 디자인체계의 심화연구에 효과적인 보완이 되기를 기대한다. (Background and Purpose) As an important part of urban development, urban events constitute a colorful urban life. The event not only reflects the unique image of the city but also becomes an effective means to improve the comprehensive competitiveness. And as the core component of narrative, events can provide rich theme content for narrative space design. From the perspective of considering events as a narrative resource, the elements of events can be used as themes and experiences in space. The active use of urban events provides diversified resources for stimulating urban vitality and improving urban space quality, and provides important theoretical support for the research of narrative design methods in the future. (Method) The related concepts of the event and its influence on the field of space design are theoretically investigated. The concept of diverse urban events is put forward from the viewpoint of narrative design resources. Urban events are divided into thematic events and experiential events, and their constituent contents are specifically distinguished, and the utilization principles of urban events and their relationship with space are analyzed. To establish the analysis framework of the research content and conduct the case study. Based on the results of the analysis, it is possible to determine whether diverse urban events play an important role in urban space and social life. (Results) First, the event is an epitome of understanding the city, and it is the driving force for the sustainable development of urban economy and culture and the renewal of urban space. Second, thematic events and experiential events together form narrative resources, and event elements play a clearer role in the design process. Thirdly, when urban events are selected as narrative resources, four principles should be followed according to the characteristics of the events. The interaction between various urban events and urban space, as a narrative resource, has an important impact on people's values and urban development. (Conclusions) Cities need events (stories) and a sense of identity, based on which cultural pride can be built. The proper use of events can improve the quality and attention of the city. The narrative resources of each city show obvious self-characteristics, and the study of urban events should be carried out from a broader perspective. This study emphasizes the importance of urban events, redefines the concept and type of urban events, determines the content of event evaluation, and provides a reference standard for the selection and utilization of event elements. It is hoped that the research results of this paper will play an effective role in improving the further research of narrative public space design system in the future.

In this paper, we design, implement and apply network physical layer to 100 BaseFx optical cable interface module based on industrial ethernet protocol which is physical layer of EtherCAT that has ensure its open standard ethernet compatibility which having been provided with real time of control in network of intelligent service robot, can be process numerous data to sensor and motor control system. Through BLDC motor control performance tests, we try to propose suitability as internal network of intelligent service robot and automation system.
