        해상환경에서 MITL 시스템을 활용한 VTG 기반 기동표적 추적성능 개선 기법

        In this paper, we suggest the tracking method of moving multi-objects in maritime environments. The image acquisition is conducted using IR(InfraRed) camera sensors on an airborne platform. Under the circumstance of maritime, the qualities of IR images can be significantly degraded due to the clutter influence, which directly gives rise to a tracking loss problem. In order to reduce the effects from the clutters, we introduce a technical approach under Man-In-The-Loop(MITL) system for enhancing the tracking performance. To demonstrate the robustness of the proposed approach based on VTG(Valid Tracking Gate), the simulations are conducted utilizing the airborne IR video sequences: Then, the tracking performances are compared with the existing Kalman Filter tracking techniques.

        무장데이터링크 메시지를 이용한 기동표적 타격평가 연구

        The Network-Centric warfare over weapon data link networks has been developed for the recent decade. Since the US navy had begun to develop tactical digital information chain, it has gradually transformed into weapon data link technology. As data link network system and its protocol have been advanced into high-technology, focusing and targeting on moving targets become possible in net-enabled environments. However, it is difficult to identify the primary information from numerous battlefields and understanding approaches to damage a target in a timely manner. In this paper, to better understand the targeting assessment, we suggest a specific solution: Bomb Hit Indication(BHI) using information in weapon data link messages. In order to prove our suggestion, we implement the BHI solution and apply it into the weapon data link integrating system.

        MSER(Maximally Stable Extremal Regions)기반 위성영상에서의 관심객체 검출기법

        This paper describes an approach to detect interesting objects using satellite images. This paper focuses on the interesting objects that have common special patterns but do not have identical shapes and sizes. The previous technologies are still insufficient for automatic finding of the interesting objects based on operation of special pattern analysis. In order to overcome the circumstances, this paper proposes a methodology to obtain the special patterns of interesting objects considering their common features and their related characteristics. This paper applies MSER(Maximally Stable Extremal Regions) for the region detection and corner detector in order to extract the features of the interesting object. This paper conducts a case study and obtains the experimental results of the case study, which is efficient in reducing processing time and efforts comparing to the previous manual searching.

        저소득 가정 청소년의 희망과 탄력성, 성취목표지향성 향상을 위한 집단 멘토링 프로그램의 개발과 효과성 검증

        본 연구의 목적은 저소득 가정 청소년의 희망증진을 위한 집단 멘토링 상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 저소득 청소년의 희망증진 집단 멘토링 프로그램은 프로그램 모형 설계에 따라 희망 이론을 바탕으로 요구조사와 전문가 자문의 과정을 통해 개발되었다. 개발된 멘토링 상담프로그램의 효과성을 확인하기 위하여 대도시 A중학교의 1학년 학생 29명을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단을 운영하여 효과성을 확인하였다. 교육 및 상담관련 전공 대학원생 3명이 멘토로서 멘티를 지도하는 형식으로 진행하였으며 멘티의 희망, 탄력성, 성취목표지향성의 변화를 분석하였다. 본 멘토링 프로그램의 실시 전과 실시 후, 그리고 프로그램 종료 한달 후에 총 3차에 거쳐서 설문지를 실시하고 공변량분석 및 평균차이검증으로 효과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 희망과 탄력성에서 실험집단과 통제집단 간 유의한 사후검사 평균 차이가 나타났으며, 희망과 탄력성 모두 프로그램 실시 후 1개월간 효과성이 지속되었다. 그러나 성취목표지향성에서는 유의미한 효과가 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구는 희망이론과 요구조사에 근거하여 프로그램 개발 모형에 따라 집단 멘토링 상담 프로그램을 개발하고 프로그램의 실행을 통해 저소득 청소년의 희망 및 탄력성 향상을 확인했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to develop a mentoring counseling program designed for enhancement of hope among students in low-income family and to test its effectiveness. The researchers developed the mentoring program by following a counseling program development procedure based on needs assessment and literature reviews. The effectiveness of the program was also tested by implementing the program to 29 middle school students who were divided into two groups: ten students in the experimental group and nine students in the control group. Three mentors who majored in counseling or related field provided 8 mentoring sessions to ten mentees as a form of small group, which focuses on improving hope, resilience and achievement goal orientation. An analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) and t-test were used to test the effectiveness of the mentoring program and a t-test was used to identify the continuing effectiveness over the four weeks. The results show that the mentoring program was effective in increasing the participants" hope and resilience compared to the students in the control group and its effectiveness lasted for four weeks. The significance of the study is to develop an effective mentoring program customized for enhancing hope, resilience and achievement goal orientation of students in low-income family and to test its effectiveness. Implications for better understanding and implementation of mentoring program for students in low-imcome family are suggested based on the results.

      • 잡음 채널 환경에서 강인한 분산형 데이터 추정치 획득 알고리즘

        분산 형 추정 융합의 경우, 획득된 각 노드들의 추정들은 잡음 채널을 통하여 중앙 프로세서로 전달된다. 전달 된 각 노드들의 추정치들을 융합하기 위해 일반적으로 최적 선형조합 기법을 적용한다. 하지만 실제 응용 상황에서는 채널잡음이 heavy-tail일 경우 이와 같은 기법의 적용이 불가능하다. 따라서 이와 같은 문제는 다른 기법의 알고리즘으로 교체되어야 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 채널잡음을 다루기 위하여, 강인성을 지닌 알고리즘의 한 방법인 M 추정기법을 고려하였다. 하지만 이는 로컬 추정치 간에 연관성이 높아질 경우 추정치의 정확성이 떨어지게 되므로, 트림 아웃라이어의 방법을 이용하여 알고리즘의 강인성을 제시하고 차후 이를 최종 융합에 적용하였다. 제시된 알고리즘 기법이 기존의 M 추정기법 보다 정확성이 높다는 것과 특히, 상관관계가 높아질수록 정확성이 증가함은 실험을 통하여 입증 하였다. In distributed estimation fusion, locally obtained estimates are transmitted to the central processor via noisy channels. Traditionally, optimal linear methods are applied to solve the fusion problem under Gaussian noise assumption that can be severely violated in practice when channel noises are heavy-tailed. Hence, those methods should be replaced by robust analogs. M-estimates are well-known robust tools; however, when there is considerable correlation between local estimates, fusion accuracy may decrease. Thus, we propose a robust fusion algorithm based on a procedure for trimming outliers and the subsequent application of an optimal fusion method. Numerical experiments show that the proposed method is more accurate than conventional M-estimates, especially when there is a high degree of correlation involved.

        해상 탐지 영상에서의 비행체 표적 선정에 관한 연구

        We deal with the target selection in seeker-detection image through network, using the detection information from aerial vehicle and the target information from surveillance and reconnaissance system. Especially, we constrain the sea battle environment, where it is difficult to perform scene-matching rather than land. In this paper, we suggest the target selection algorithm based on the confidence estimation with respect to distance and size. In detail, we propose the generation method of reference point for distance evaluation, and we investigate the effect of pixel margin and target course for size evaluation. Finally, the proposed algorithm is simulated and analyzed through several scenarios.

        무장데이터링크의 효과적인 운용을 위한 고려사항 고찰

        U.S. and the allies attacked chemical weapons sites in Syria in 2018, and verbal battles are carried out about the effectiveness of the air strike. Syria claimed 13 missiles were shot down, and Russia claimed 71 missiles were shot down while the U.S. released pictures of completely destroyed targets, only. It led controversy about the effectiveness of missile defense system. If there is a method to observe mission success rate of the air strike, it can not only improve combat awareness but also can be a good sales strategy in military industry. This paper describes effects and considerations of a Weapon Data Link(WDL) technology which can be used as a smoking gun of effectiveness. The paper describes WDL abilities such as In-Flight Track Update, Loiter, and Bomb Hit Indication etc., and presents examples of expected effectiveness of the WDL. In addition, this paper briefly summarizes operational consideration for better performance.

        경로생성 및 지형차폐를 고려한 통신영역 생성 방법

        Recent complex battle field demands Network Centric Warfare(NCW) ability to control various parts into a cohesive unit. In path planning filed, the NCW ability increases complexity of path planning algorithm, and it has to consider a communication coverage map as well as traditional parameters such as minimum radar exposure and survivability. In this paper, pros and cons of various propagation models are summarized, and we suggest a coverage map generation method using a Longley-Rice propagation model. Previous coverage map based on line of sight has significant discontinuities that limits selection of path planning algorithms such as Dijkstra and fast marching only. If there is method to remove discontinuities in the coverage map, optimization based path planning algorithms such as trajectory optimization and Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) can also be used. In this paper, the Longley-Rice propagation model is used to calculate continuous RF strengths, and convert the strength data using smoothed leaky BER for the coverage map. In addition, we also suggest other types of rough coverage map generation using a lookup table method with simple inputs such as terrain type and antenna heights only. The implemented communication coverage map can be used various path planning algorithms, especially in the optimization based algorithms.
