        산모의 규칙적 운동이 체지방, 체력, 모유성분에 미치는 영향

        To investigate changes of body composition, physical fitness levels, and breast milk constituents after participation to an exercise program in breast feeding women, 10 postpartum women of 6-10 weeks past of delivery with natural birth were recruited. They were randomly divided into two groups; exercise group (EG; n = 10, 29±1 yrs, 160±3 cm, 63±5 kg, 27±4% body fat CG; n = 6, 30±2 yrs, 160±2 cm, 59±2 kg, 26±5% body fat). EG participated an exercise program consisted of flexibility, strength training, and aerobic exercises lasted for 12 weeks (3 days/week). Before participating and 6th and 12th weeks of the exercise program their body composition and a physical fitness level were measured. And 4th and 8th weeks of the program, their breast milk was obtained. These variables were measured at the same time frame for the CG. The body mass index and body fat content were reduced (p<.01), but the cardiorespiratory endurance and flexibility were increased (p<.001) for EG compared to CG after the 12 weeks of exercise program. No differences were found for protein, lipids, and electrolytes as well as immunoglobulin-A in the breast milk for both groups between before and after the program. Although the body composition and physical fitness level were increased after a participation of exercise program, no changes could be noticed in the composition of breast milk. An exercise program could be recommended for postpartum women.

        다양한 속도의 걷기와 달리기에서 가속도센서의 에너지소비량 추정과 타당성

        Physical activity provides various physiological and health promotional benefits. In promoting and monitoring physical activity, accelerometers are often employed. But the algorithm installed within the devices has not been throughly examined whether it reflects human activities sensitively. Currently introduced two accelerometers, Actical and Life Sense, were selected and the values obtained from these two devices and indirectly calorimetry (IC) were compared by sex and exercise intensity. Fifty nine young healthy adults (30 men, 28.3±4.2 yrs, 178.3±4.6 ㎝, 79.8± 10.8 ㎏, 25.7±3.5 ㎏·m-²; 29 women, 27.7±5.1 yrs, 161.7±5.0 ㎝, 59.7±6.5 ㎏, 22.8±2.2 ㎏·m-²) participated in the study. They exercised on a treadmill at 6 different speed consecutively such as 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, ㎞·h-¹ for men and 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 ㎞·h-¹ for women. At each speed, they walked or ran for 5 min and rested 1 min before the next speed. During the exercise, they wore LS and Actical on their waistline. Also EE was measured using a metabolic measurement system. EE for men was 4.53±0.79, 6.17±0.96, 11.03±2.16, 14.80±2.25, 15.75±2.11, and 16.86±2.17 ㎉·min-¹ at 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11 ㎞·h-¹ and EE for women was 2.58±0.56, 3.62±0.70, 5.69±1.01, 9.48±1.17, 10.53±1.37, and 11.25± 1.43 ㎉·min-¹ at 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10 ㎞·h-¹, respectively. Except at the lowest speed, EE obtained by three modalities showed high correlations. by sex and treadmill speed. According to Bland-Altman analyses, EE of Actical was consistently low compared to IC regardless sex and speed. Compared to IC, Life Sense showed a proportional error in moderate locomotive speed. Based on the results, Actical underestimated EE compared to IC in both man and woman over the course of treadmill speed. In particular, the two accelerometers do not appear to reflect actual EE sensitivity at low activity level. The sex differences in sensitivity may exist in high exercise intensity.

        걷기 운동 활성화를 위한 다양한 홍보도구 적용이 지역주민의 걷기 실천율에 미친 영향

        본 사례연구의 목적은 지역주민의 걷기 활성화 사업을 전개하는 과정에서 발생한 주민들의 반응을 조사하고 그들의 변화과정을 평가하는데 있었다. 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다양한 도구들이 제시되었으며, 이러한 도구들의 적용에 따라 지역주민의 걷기시작률, 지속률 그리고 걷기운동에 대한 인식에 어떠한 변화가 나타나는가를 살펴보았다. 그리고 보다 긍정적 효과를 꾀하기 위한 사업 계획이 논의되었다. 사업 추진 방법으로는 : ① 걷기운동 참여에 대한 의지확인-걷기선포식 진행 및 걷기참여 서약서작성, ② 동기유발-걷기대회 참여, 걷기 기록지 배부, 걷기 동아리 구성 ③ 지속적인 참여를 위한 홍보활동-포스터 및 유인물 제작, 그리고 ④ 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 방법 제시 및 운동량에 관한 정보제공-걷기코스 지도와 칼로리 계산판 설치 등이 계획되었다. 적용 대상의 홍보도구 접촉률은 홍보전단지(118명/36.5%), 표지판(99명/30.7%), 기타(57명/17.7%), 선포식(22명/6.8%), 기록지(14명/4.3%), 동아리(13명/4.0%)의 순으로 나타났다. 걷기코스지도 및 칼로리 계산판, 걷기 선포식과 걷기 서약식은 대상 아파트와 통제아파트 간 시작률, 지속률 그리고 인식수준에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었으며(p<.01), 걷기 기록지 작성 과 걷기 동아리 활동 역시 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<.01). 걷기 포스터 및 유인물이 걷기에 대한 시작률, 지속 률, 인식률에 미친 영향은 약 40%의 수준이었다. 적용대상과 통제대상 간 포스터 및 유인물은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<.01). 이러한 홍보도구의 적용은 지역 주민들을 운동에 참여하도록 유도한 것으로 평가되어진다. This case report informed a surveyed response of community residents to walking campaign aiming promotion for participating in walking exercises and evaluated changes of those population by the campaign. To achieve the goal, various campaign tools were employed, and the effect of those tools on initiation rate, continuation rate, and recognition rate to the walking exercise in the residents were investigated. In addition, one apartment complex was selected as a target group and one other complex was chosen for a control. Subsequently, a prospective tactic for the project of walking exercise in the community was discussed. The project was proceeded as ① confirmation of participatory willingness: proclamation for participation and signing a written pledge, ② motivation: participation in walking campaign, distribution of walking record-sheet, formation of walking exercise club, ③ publicity for continuous participation: posters and pamphlets, and ④ providing information facilitating participation: posting area map and caloric expenditure calculation board. The residents have been contacted more with the distributed pamphlet (36.5%, n=118) and the posted board 30.7% (n=99) followed by proclamation events (6.8%, n=22), record-sheet (4.3%, n=14), and walking exercise club (4.0%, n=13). The walking course map, calorie calculation board, proclamation events, and signing a written pledge was much effective in target group than th control (p<0.01). The record sheet and club formation were also different between two groups (p <0.01). The effect of posters and pamphlets on initiation, continuation, and recognition rates were 40%, and it was different between groups (p<0.01). An application of these campaign tools appeared to lead the residents to walking exercise.

        지역주민대상 걷기동아리 결성 및 활성화가 참여자의 심폐기능과 걷기 실천율에 미치는 영향

        본 사례 연구는 K구 주민을 대상으로 걷기동아리 결성과 활성화가 이들의 운동 실천율과 신체적 변화에 어떠한 효과를 가져오는가를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이들의 걷기동아리 구성은 설문지로 수집된 생활체육 참여실태조사 결과(이운용 등, 2003)를 근거로 이루어졌다. 이 설문조사에 따르면, 설문 응답자 중 42%가 운동을 시작하고 싶은 장소를 ``집주변``이라고 대답하였으며, 할애 가능한 시간은 전체 55.9%가 30-60분이 가장 편안한 것으로 대답하였다. 또한, 주변에 보완되어야 할 운동시설은 29.5%가 걷기나 조깅을 실시할 수 있는 장소를 원하였으며, 걷기에 대한 교육은 전체 62.6%가 필요하다고 대답하였다. 따라서 K구 지역보건소에서는 지역사회의 주 거주형태가 아파트임을 감안하고, 아파트 단지 내의 공간을 활용하며, 적은 운동전문 인력을 활용하여 추진할 수 있는 ``걷기동아리``를 결성하는 방안을 마련하게 되었다. 이로써 지역주민의 규칙적인 걷기 운동 참여를 유도하였으며, 참여자들로 하여금 걷기 기록지를 작성하도록 하였다. 걷기 동아리는 매일 진행되었으며, 이 프로그램은 8주간 계속되었다. 걷기 기록지의 분석 결과, 주당 운동빈도는 평균 5회로 나타났으며, 1일 운동량은 약 50분가량의 걷기를 실시하였다. 운동부하 검사에 적극적으로 참여한 남성(n=6)의 경우에는 최대산소섭취량이 29.9% 유의하게 증가하였으며(p<.05), 안정시 평균혈압 역시 24.6% 유의하게 감소하였다(p<.001). 여성(n=17)의 경우에는 안정시 심박수가 평균 4.6회/분 유의하게 감소하였다(p<.05). 걷기에 대한 실천율은 전체 4.5%가 증가하였다. 걷기동아리 활동은 프로그램 종료 후까지도 활발하게 진행되고 있었으며, 걷기동아리 리더를 선정하여 자체적으로 걷기 운동을 실천하고 있었다. 통제되지 않은 현장에서의 걷기동아리 결성과 운동이 이들의 걷기 실천율을 증가시켰으며, 심폐지구력을 향상시켰다는 것은 의미가 있을 것이다. The present case study was aimed for evaluating the influence of an establishing and operating ``Walking Exercise Group (WG)`` in the community of K province to exercise participation and physical changes for the participants. The forming of WG was rationalized based on the Physical Activity Participation Survey for Community Resident (Lee et al., 2003). Based on the survey, approximately 42% of the K province residents preferred ``around houses`` for the place of exercise. 56% of the residents responded to 30-60 min for their possible exercise session. About 30% of the residents expressed that the walking and/or jogging tracks had to be established near their communities, and 62.6% of the respondent felt a necessity of an education programs for informing walking exercises. Since the major residental housing in the K province is the apartment, utilization of spaces in the complex was highly probable, and a minimum number of exercise professional could be used, a program of forming WG was highly considered. Thus, this program was expected to lead participation of the community resident to a regular exercise program, and the participants was asked to fill out an exercise record. The walking exercise was executed every day for eight weeks. Based on the exercise records, the participants walked 5 times/wk, 50 min/session. According to the exercise stress test, male participants showed elevated maximal oxygen uptake (p <.05) and reduced mean resting arterial pressure (p<.001). For the female participants, the resting heart rate was reduced (p<.05). The participation rate for walking in a daily life increased by 4.5%. The walking exercise of the residents was actively continued after the cessation of the program, and they elected a leader to keep the program going. This case report provided information that a field application of probable programs based on the needs of target population may lead an elevated exercise participation of a community residents.

        한국산 어류 8종 추출물의 생리활성

        N/A A search for contraction and relaxation responses on the smooth muscles, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity in different body parts of 4 freshwater fish and 4 marine fish were conducted. The four freshwater fish studied were Sarotherodon niloticus (tilapia), Channa arus (snake head), Cyprinus carpio (Israel carp) and Silures osotus (catfish), and the four marine fish were Scyliorhinus torazame (tiger shark), Atelepus japonicus (tadpole fish), Mugil cephalus (gray mullet) and Thamnaconus modestus (file fish). Frozen samples were extracted with distilled water containing 1% acetic acid. Antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coil was detected in extracts from several tissues in all species tested. Relatively high antimicrobial activity could also be detected in the bile extracts from C. carpio, M. cephalus, and T. modestus. Contraction and relaxation responses on smooth muscles could be detected in all species tested, especially in the intestine extracts. Antioxidant activity was also detected in extracts from several tissues in all species tested, while in the extracts from S. osotus, excluding livers and spleens, no antioxidant activity was detected. Results from this study suggest that fish are a potential source for the discovery of novel bioactive materials.

        HCI 환경기반 운동처방 프로그램 알고리즘 모델 개발 : 심폐지구력 프로그램을 중심으로

        This study aimed to develop an algorithm model for an exercise prescription program which is individualized and formed to assist a portable personal terminal device based on human and computer interaction environments. The model was developed and explained in focusing fitness related variables, in particular, cardiovascular endurance. The target population of this model was healthy young adults (20th and 30th of age) since they were familiar with using modern computing network environments and terminal devices. The model introduces and shows a work flow for cardiovascular exercise practices, fitness evaluation algorithm (field test, lab test, self-perceived fitness test), exercise prescription algorithm (flat type, gradual type, up & down type protocol), and quantification methods of activity level estimation. The collected information of individual exercise status through diverse sensors and devices should be trans?lated to communication indices using the developed algorithm and be interacted in real time with the users. More variant exercise prescription framework should be structured in targeting various sub populations and should be examined continuously, in preparing unpredictably growing U-health care market.

        자동차부품 재제조에 따른 품목별 경제성 효과 분석 연구

        Due to environment problems in end of Life Vehicle in the country, the interest in remanufacturing is heightened than ever. In this study, it is important to quantitatively evaluate the economic effect of the introduction of the automotive remanufacturing business and analyzed cost-benefit for the three species of bumpers, doors, fenders, which is relatively lower remanufactured automotive component. The results showed that cost-beneift of each parts were analyzed 54,000 per one part, and if remanufacturing were 50%, benefits were to occur with a profit of 226,060 won. Thus, remanufacturing of bumpers, doors, fender resulted a significant benefit, and then it is possible that remanufacturing company have enough economic value for remanufacturing.

        점진부하 운동에서 중고교 엘리트 사이클 선수들의 유산소능력과 폐환기 반응

        국내 중고교 엘리트 사이클 선수를 대상으로 점진부하 운동 시 유산소반응과 폐환기 반응을 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 남자 사이클 선수(17±1 세, 175±5 ㎝, 70±9 ㎏) 12명이 신체계측, 점진부하 운동 검사, 폐기능 검사에 참여하였다. 사이클 에르고미터를 이용한 점진부하 운동 중 이들의 최대산소섭취량(VO₂max)과 최대파워(Wmax), 환기량, 산소 및 이산화탄소호흡당량(VE/VO₂, VE/VCO₂), 호흡율, 일회호흡량 등이 측정되었다. 호흡반응의 시간변인으로 흡기시간(Ti), 호기시간(Te), 일회호흡시간(Tb), 흡기의무사이클(Ti/Tb), 흡기율(VT/Ti)이 분석되었다. 폐기능으로는 폐활량, 일초호기량, 일초율, 최대호기량 등이 측정되었다. 선수들은 최대운동시 57.5±3.9㎖ㆍ㎏<SUP>-1</SUP>·min<SUP>-1</SUP>의 VO₂max, 194.1±8.6 beat·min<SUP>-1</SUP> 의 최대심박수를 보였으며, Wmax 는 평균 452 W에 도달하였다. VO₂max은 신체계측 변인들과 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 대부분의 환기반응은 운동강도가 점차적으로 증가하면서 동반 증가하였다. 운동강도의 증가와 함께 Ti, Te, Tb는 감소하였으며, Ti/Tb는 대략적으로 일정하게 유지되었다. 250 W 이하에서 신장, 체중, 신체질량지수, 체표면적은 VT/Ti 그리고 Ti/Tb 와 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다(p<0.05). 결과적으로, 엘리트 사이클 선수들의 최대유산소능력은 성인에 비해 낮은 것으로 보이며, 이는 성인과 호흡조절 양상이 다른 것으로 추정된다. 신체계측 변인은 VO₂max와 상관성이 존재하지 않았다. 호흡반응의 시간 변인은 운동강도 250 W 이하에서만 체격과 연관성을 가지는 것으로 보인다. 흡기율은 어린 선수들의 운동지속시간과 연관 있어 보이지만, 흡기의무사이클은 성인과 유사한 것으로 보인다. This study was designed to examine the aerobic capacity and ventilatory response during an incremental exercise in elite high school cyclists. Twelve boys (17±1 yr, 175±5 ㎝, 70±9 ㎏) participated in anthropometric measurements, incremental exercise testing, and pulmonary function tests. During incremental exercise testing using a cycle ergometer, their maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂max), maximal power output, ventilation, ventilatory equivalents for oxygen (VE/VO₂) and carbon dioxide (VE/VCO₂), respiratory rate, and tidal volume were measured. Time variables such as inspiratory time (Ti), expiratory time (Te), breathing time (Tb), and inspiratory duty cycle (Ti/Tb), as well as inspiratory flow rate (VT/Ti) were assessed. Pulmonary function of vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV₁), FEV₁/FVC, and peak expiratory flow were evaluated. Their VO₂max, maximal heart rate, and Wmax were 57.5±3.9 ㎖ㆍ㎏<SUP>-1</SUP>·min<SUP>-1</SUP>, 194.1±8.6 beat·min<SUP>-1</SUP>, and 452 W, respectively. VO₂max was not related to any anthropometric parameters. Most ventilatory variables progressively increased with exercise intensity. As intensity increased, Ti, Tb, Tb decreased while Ti/Tb was maintained. Below an intensity of 250 W, height, weight, body mass index, and body surface were highly correlated with VT/Ti and Ti/Tb (p<0.05). Collectively, VO₂max appeared to be lower than adult cyclists, suggesting a different pattern of ventilatory control as age advances. Morphological characteristics were not related to VO2max in the population. Time variables of ventilatory response seemed to be related only at an exercise intensity level of less than 250 W. VT/Ti may be related to exercise endurance capacity, but Ti/Tb was similar to adult cyclists.
