일간지 기사와 보도자료 프레임 비교를 통한 비구성적 현실 탐색

News media generally select and put stress on certain features of information to establish ‘Constructed Reality’ of audiences. This study explored the other side of phenomena, which was made by the different aspects of the very same journalistic routines. Suggesting a new concept of ‘Unconstructed Reality,’ which refers to the audiences’ cognitive dimension created by frames less reported and less highlighted by the news media compared to the content provided in some other information channels, the current study analyzed the content of 5 daily newspapers and 63 institutions’ press releases about Four Rivers Restoration Project of Lee Myung Bak administration. The results showed that, regarding the project, the news media collectively did not report the frames of international solidarity, public relations effort, administrative sanctions as much as the press releases did. Specifically, when the newspapers were respectively scrutinized, the Chosun, Joongang and Dong-A dailies never mentioned the international solidarity frame, while Kyunghayng and Hankyoreh touched the frame a little. It seemed to tell that the ‘Unconstructed Reality,’ which explains that the people’s cognition about the world could be limitedly developed by the ways of media’s news presentation, exists, and it could differ along with the diverse media outlets.

This study investigated the role of excitatory amino acid systems in the initiation of organophosphate-induced seizures and brain damages in rats through quantitative in viva microdialysis. Microdialysates were collected from the hippocampus of rat brain, treated with diisopropylfluorophosphate (DFP; 2.67 ㎎/㎏, s.c.) alone, and/or atropine sulfate (15 ㎎/㎏, i.m.) and procyclidine (30 ㎎/㎏, i.m.). The protective effects of atropine, a muscarinic blacker, and/or procyclidine, a N-methyl-D-aspartate and cholinergic antagonist, against DFP were examined. DFP treatment increased the levels of aspartate (Asp) and glutamate (Glu) significantly in the hippocampal persuate with the induction of seizures. Treatment of procyclidine could effectively block the increase of Asp and Glu levels. Atropine treatment showed no significant anticonvulsive effects against DFP-induced seizures. The increases of Asp and Glu levels by DFP were also completely blocked through the combined treatment of atropine and procyclidine. Histopathological findings on the hippocampus confirmed the above results. More effective protection was observed through the treatments of procyclidine alone or of both procyclidine and atropine than atropine alone against DFP-induced brain damage. Procyclidine was shown to be effective in DFP-induced seizures.
