노년소설의 담론 특성 연구 -최일남의 『아주 느린 시간』을 중심으로-

이 논문은 최일남의 「고도는 못 오신다네」와 「아주 느린 시간」에 나타난 발화가 어떻게 작품의 내적 형식으로 기능하는지 고찰함으로써 노년소설의 담론 특성을 알아보고자 했다. 「고도는 못 오신다네」에서는 ‘수다’가, 「아주 느린 시간」에서는 각각 ‘가볍게 말하기, 고백하기, 괄호로 말하기, 독백하기’가 담화 방식으로 활용되었다. ‘수다’는 단지 발화로 머물지 않는다. 강 노인과 공 노인으로 대표되는 노년 세대의 삶에 투영된 이면을 형상화함으로써 근대화 혹은 산업화 과정에서 신산한 삶을 겪어 왔던 노년들에게 일종의 ‘위안’으로서 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 한편 「아주 느린 시간」의 담화 방식은 죽음을 대하는 노년의 삶의 태도를 다양하게 보여주고 있다. 회피 전략, 관용 정신, 노년의 내면 풍경, 삶의 긍정 등이 그것이다. 이러한 담화는 무엇보다 노년들이 맞닥뜨리고 있는 죽음과 삶의 문제 그리고 청장년과 노년이라는 양단의 괴리를 삶의 연속선 상에서 통합하려는 내적 형식으로 기능하고 있다. 이러한 담화 방식을 활용하여 최일남은 노년을 정점으로 생각하지 않되 그렇다고 새 출발로도 보지 않으며, 노년의 정체성을 당위성이 아니라 사실의 측면에서 보고자했다. 또한 노년을 옹호하되 관찰과 기록이라는 보고서의 형식을 활용하여 가치의 중립성을 유지하였다. 요컨대 노년을 노년으로 보되 죽음이라는 편향성으로부터 벗어나야 한다는 점을 성찰한 것으로서 이는 최일남의 비판적 균형감각이 성취한 결과물인것이다. This study explores the characteristics of discourse in old age novels, considering how the discourse methods function as internal forms of work in Godot Can`t Come Over and Very Slow Time. The discourse methods used are ``chatting`` in Godot Can``t Come Over and ``talking lightly, confessing, using parentheses and talking to oneself`` in Very Slow Time. ``Chatting`` doesn`t just remain as a kind of discourse, but it wokrs as a way of comforting the elderly who went through hard lives by embodying the reverse sides of the lives the old generation represented by two elderly men, Kang and Kong, had. On the other hand, the discourse methods in Very Slow Time show various attitudes towards death of the elderly people. The discourse methods are evasive tactics, tolerance minds, inner prospects of old age and the positives of life. These discourse methods function as inner forms that integrate the issue of life and death the elderly people face and the gap between the young and the elderly on a par with lives. Choi, Il-nam doesn``t see old age neither as a peak of life nor as a fresh start, and tries to see the identity of the elderly not in the issue of appropriateness, but in the issue of facts. Moreover, he supports old age, maintaining the neutrality of observation and records as inner forms. To sum up, Choi, Il-nam accomplishes critical balance by reflecting on the perspective that we should see old age as it is and escape from the bias that old age means death.

지방문학의 정체성과 탈식민성 고찰 -광주ㆍ전남의 소설을 중심으로

이 연구는 탈식민성의 측면에서 지방문학의 정체성을 검토하고 광주ㆍ전남의 대표작가라고 할 수 있는 송기숙의 『은내골 기행』에 투영된 탈식민성의 양상을 살펴보고자 했다. 근대의 산물인 지방문학은 국민문학이나 중앙문학과 대타적인 관계에 놓여 있으며 폐기나 전유, 되받아쓰기와 같은 탈식민주의적 서사성을 보인다. 광주전남의 대표 작가인 송기숙의 『은내골 기행』은 식민주의를 청산하고 민중공동체를 복원하려는 작가의 탈식민주의 서사 전략이 구체화된 대표 작품으로서 역사적 비극을 기록하고 친일과 반공이 식민주의의 쌍생아라는 점을 주제화하였다. This paper aims at investigating identity of local literature and observing post-colonial aspects reflected Song gi-Sook``s "A Travel to Eunnae-gol(은내골 기행)" Song gi-Sook is one of the representative GwangjuㆍJeonnam``s writers. Local literature is a modern product, it shows post-colonial narrative features like abolition, appropriation and re-writing. Local literature has reciprocal relation with national literature and central literature. Song gi-Sook``s "A Travel to Eunnae-gol(은내골 기행)" is a leading piece of work embodied writer``s narrative strategy to cleanse colonialism and reconstruct national community. His work recorded historical tragedy, at the same time, it showed pro-Japanese and anti-communism are the twins of colonialism.

Of the various endocrine tumors affecting the pancreas, insulinomas and gastrinomas are the most common. In order to facilitate surgery, the localization of tumor is important. However, at the first time of presentation, the localization of tumor was often difficult by CT or ultrasonography because the tumor was relatively too small. The introduction of endoscopic ultrasonography has allowed high-resolution imaging of the pancreas that distinguishes structures as small as 2 to 3 mm in diameter. Thus, it has became easier to detect the lesion site of pancreatic endocrine tumor by endoscopic ultrasonography. We report the 5 patients who had pancreatic insulinoma which were detected and localized by endoscopic ultrasonography.
