        This study was conducted at a Terminal, a Parking Lot, an Underground shopping center, a Funeral hall and a Hospital waiting room of Cheon An area in August 2008 to examine the concentration level of HCHO(formaldehyde). The concentration level of the remodeled sites were 39.4 ± 12.0 ㎍/㎥ in the terminal, 32.7 ± 7.3 ㎍/㎥ in the parking, and 97.8 ± 29.4 ㎍/㎥ in the underground shopping center. The underground shopping center had the highest level and followed by the terminal and the parking. On the contrary, the site remodeling had the level of 17.7 ± 12.4 ㎍/㎥ in the funeral hall and 17.9 ± 0.6 ㎍/㎥ in the hospital waiting room. The funeral hall had highest level than that of the hospital waiting room. Both the remodeled sites and the not remodeled site had concentration level of HCHO below the standard level, but it was higher in the remodeled sites. There were no relations among the HCHO, the temperature and the humidity in facilities of Cheon An area.

        볏짚의 혐기성소화시 소화가스 생성에 관한 연구

        Quantity and composition of biogas from semi-continuous anaerobic digestion of straw were obtained experimentally in laboratory scale digesters fed with 1 liter of 5% straw-water mixture and maintained at 35$^{\circ}C$. Experiments were carried out for hydraulic retention time(HRT) of 8, 10 and 15days, respectively. The amount and composition of biogas produced were measured until steady-state was achieved for each run. The amount of biogas and methane percent go through a maximum and decrease continuously towards the steady-state after three times operation of hydraulic retention time(HRT). Methane gas production rates at steady-state increase with the increasing of HRT. Biogas production of 0.45 liter/day with 25% methane, 0.42 liter/day with 33.7% methane and 0.492 liter/day with 31.7% methane were obtained for 8, 10 and 15days of HRT, respectively. The high proportion of soluble carbohydrates present in straw makes the volatile fatty acids to build up within the digester causing a drop in pH that inhibits digestion. Regular control of pH is therefore necessary by adding alkalinity. Reductions in COD increase with increase in HRT. The stratification of plant material within the digester is different from that of manure, and modifications in design and operation of digesters may be necessary if they are fed with plant matter.

        벤처.중소기업가의 전략적 직관에 의한 의사결정 모형에 대한 사례연구

        본 논문은 경영환경에 대한 불확실성 증대, 데이터 없는 최초 상황 발생, 합리적 의사결정이 불가능할 경우 등 기업환경이 변화할 때, 벤처 중소기업 경영자들은 의사결정 시 직관을 어떻게 활용하는가에 관한 사례연구다. 논문은 문헌 연구와 벤처 중소기업 경영자 16명을 심층 인터뷰하여 자료를 수집하였고, Klein, G, 의 "포괄적(generic) 멘탈 시뮬레이션 모델"로 분석하였다. 연구에 사용된 직관은 본인의 경험을 사용하는 전문가(expert) 직관과 타인의 경험도 활용하는 전략적(strategic) 직관으로 분류하였다. 사례연구 결과 경영자들은 전문가 직관과 전략적 직관을 다르게 활용하고 있었다. 전문가 직관의 특징은 별 노력 없이도 빠르게 작동하는데, 반해 전략적 직관은 시간이 많이 소요된다. 또 다른 특징은 전문가적 직관은 이미 발생된 일에 대한 의사결정에 많이 사용되고, 전략적 직관은 미래형 의사결정에 많이 활용되었다. 전략적 직관의 프로세스는 (1)전략적 관심단계 (2)매개물 발견단계 (3)1차 멘탈 시뮬레이션 단계 (4)핵심 매개변수 띄우기 단계, (4)2차 멘탈 시뮬레이션 단계 (5)내부 평가 단계 (6) 의사결정 단계를 거친다. 위에 단계를 모델링하여 벤처 중소기업 경영자들의 "전략적 직관에 의한 의사결정 모형(Strategic intuition decision-making model)"을 도출하였다. 사례분석 결과 나타난 중요한 결과는 첫째, 성공하는 의사결정 시 성공과 실패의 중요한 차이는 의사결정 프로세스 중 "2차 멘탈 시뮬레이션"에서 결정되었고, 둘째, 전문가 직관이 전략적 직관보다 많아질수록 경영의 어려움에 봉착하였으며. 셋째, 전략적 직관은 학습이 가능하다. A Case Study on Venture and Small-Business Executives' Use of Strategic Intuition in the Decision Making Process This paper is a case study on how Venture and Small-Business Executives managers can take advantage of their intuitions in situations where the business environment is increasingly uncertain, a novel situation occurs without any data to reflect on, when rational decision-making is not possible, and when the business environment changes. The case study is based on a literature review, in-depth interviews with 16 business managers, and an analysis of Klein, G's (1998) "Generic Mental Simulation Model." The "intuition" discussed in this analysis is classified into two types of intuition: the Expert Intuition which is based on one's own experiences, and Strategic Intuition which is based on the experience of others. Case study strategic management intuition and intuition, the experts were utilized differently. Features of professional intuition to work quickly without any effort by, while the strategic intuition, is time-consuming. Another feature that has already occurred, one expert intuition in decision-making about the widely used strategic intuition was used a lot in future decision-making. The case study results revealed that managers were using expert intuition and strategic intuition differentially. More specifically, Expert Intuition was activated effortlessly, while strategic intuition required more time. Also, expert intuition was used mainly for making judgments about events that have already happened, while strategic intuition was used more often for judgments regarding events in the future. The process of strategic intuition involved (1) Strategic concerns, (2) the discovery of medium, (3) Primary mental simulation, (4) The offsetting of key parameters, (5) secondary mental simulation, and (6) the decision making process. These steps were used to develop the "Strategic Intuition Decision-making Model" for Venture and Small-Business Executives. The case study results further showed that firstly, the success of decision-making was determined in the "secondary mental simulation' stage, and secondly, that more difficulty in management was encountered when expert intuition was used more than strategic intuition and lastly strategic intuition is possible to be educated.

        휴대폰 착신 알림을 위한 모바일 디스플레이 시스템 설계

        휴대폰을 소지할 수 없는 제한된 공간에서 휴대폰 착신 여부를 표시하는 휴대폰 착신 디스플레이 시스템을 설계하여 제작하였고 그 타당성을 확인하였다. 개발된 휴대폰 착신 알리미 시스템은 위탁 공간에 보관된 휴대폰의 착신 여부를 감지하여 블루투스를 통해 데이터를 송출하는 휴대폰 데이터 송신 애플리케이션과 데이터 송수신 범위를 확장하기 위한 RF 데이터 중계기 그리고 미소지자에게 휴대폰 착신 상태를 알려주는 착신 데이터 디스플레이 장치로 구성된다. 제안된 시스템은 구현이 간단하고 저가 설치가 가능하여 시스템 설치 측면에서 경제성을 가질 뿐만 아니라 시스템을 이용하는 일반 휴대폰 사용자에게도 앱 스토어에 올려놓은 알리미 애플리케이션을 다운로드하여 활용하게 함으로써 경제성과 함께 어느 곳에서나 편리하게 휴대폰 착신 상태를 확인할 수 있는 편리성도 갖게 된다. In this paper, we developed a phone call display system or "alimi" for displaying the received phone data at limited space that can not carry a mobile phone and and its validity was confirmed. It consists of a data communication application transmitting the phone data via bluetooth, a RF data repeater to extend the range of data communication, and a display system part for displaying the received phone data to the phone user. It has economy in terms of system installation because the implementation of the proposed system is simple and low cost installation is possible. As ordinary mobile phones users using the system can easily utilize it by downloading the application on the app. store, it has economy and convenience checking whether a call is received.

      • 주차장 통합관리를 위한 IR-UWB 레이더 모듈 개발

        IR-UWB 레이더는 임펄스 레이더 신호를 송신하여 물체에 부딪혀 되돌아오는 반사파의 미소 변화량으로 피사체의 미세 움직임을 검출하는 기능을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 임펄스 레이더를 이용하여 움직임 정보를 검출하고 무선 게이트웨이를 통해 검출 정보를 통합하여 관리하는 임펄스 레이더 모듈을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 모듈은 탑재된 마이크로프로세서와 레이더 통신의 상호 연계로 검출영역과 조명에 대한 다양한 원격제어 기능을 갖도록 하였다. 그리고 이와 같은 임펄스 레이더 모듈을 이용하여 주차장 내 이동체를 감지하여 각종 장치들을 제어하는 주차장 통합관리시스템에 활용하는 방안을 제안하였다. The IR-UWB radar has a function of detecting fine movements of an object based on tiny change of the reflection signal, which is returned from the transmitted impulse radar signal. In this study, we have developed an impulse radar module that detects movement information using impulse radar and globally manages them through RF gateway. The developed module has various remote control functions for detected region and lighting by correlating mounted microprocessor and radar communications. And we have proposed an integration management system for the parking lot, which detects an object and controls the various units, using the proposed impulse radar module.

        Content-based Video Information Retrieval and Streaming System using Viewpoint Invariant Regions

        This paper caters the need of acquiring the principal objects, characters, and scenes from a video in order to entertain the image based query. The movie frames are divided into frames with 2D representative images called "key frames". Various regions in a key frame are marked as key objects according to their textures and shapes. These key objects serve as a catalogue of regions to be searched and matched from rest of the movie, using viewpoint invariant regions calculation, providing the location, size, and orientation of all the objects occurring in the movie in the form of a set of structures collaborating as video profile. The profile provides information about occurrences of every single key object from every frame of the movie it exists in. This information can further ease streaming of objects over various network-based viewing qualities. Hence, the method provides an effective reduced profiling approach of automatic logging and viewing information through query by example (QBE) procedure, and deals with video streaming issues at the same time.

        손동작에 의한 숫자를 인식하기 위한 새로운 조합형 체인코드

        In this paper, we proposed a novel combined chaincode for recognizing the number displayed by hand gesture as HCI element technique. The combined chaincode is accomplished by a novel code index which combines several neighboring chaincode to hand-gesture contour in order to prevent errors due to the directional sensitivity of the general chaincode. As it is converted as the 4-step index by confirming the combined chaincode of the certain intervals using the duplicate line sampling. Therefore it is the directional hand-gesture recognition technique which decreases the operation quantity and the recognition errors. In order to test the performance, we performed the simulation for handwritten number recognition. The simulation results showed that the proposed method was superior to the nomal chaincode in terms of the operation quantity and the accuracy as well as the invariant to local sine sensitivity.

        Run Length Coding 기반 정규화 체인코드의 특징벡터 추출

        The chain code is extensively used for extracting the feature vector in object recognition or image retrieval. It is used to extract the feature vector because the algorithm is not only simple but also includes the contour information. But as the traditional chain code is very sensitive at the transfer/rotation/scaling of the object, it is very difficult to get the efficient result of the recall or the precision. In this paper, we have proposed a novel algorithm that the feature vectors, which is based on the voting numbers of the rearranged chain code, is extracted. The process is as follows. The object contour based chain code is obtained and rearranged and normalized according to the maximum voting number. After round off, The voting value based chain code is used as the feature vector. By using the MPEG-7 database, the proposed method experimented. It could confirm the robustness for the movement of the experimental result object or the rotation and reduction and enlargement than the standard chain code method.

They can strengthen the national competitiveness.

      • 핸드라이트 숫자 인식을 위한 조합형 체인코드 생성

        본 연구에서는 디지털 기기에 핸드라이트로 입력되는 숫자를 인식하기 위한 새로운 조합형 체인코드를 제안하였다. 제안한 조합형 체인코드는 일반 체인코드의 방향 민감성에 기인한 오류를 방지하기 위하여 핸드라이트 선성분의 다중 체인코드를 조합하여 새로운 코드 인덱스를 설정하는 방식을 이용한다. 이것은 중복 샘플링 되는 숫자 선성분 내에서 일정 구간의 체인코드를 확인하여 4단계 인덱스를 제공함으로서 연산 량을 감소시키면서도 국부적 인식 오류를 감소시키는 방향성 핸드라이트 인식방식이다. 이것은 간단한 시뮬레이션 결과로 그 타당성을 확인할 수 있었다. In this study, we propose the new combined chain code for recognizing the numbers being input with the handwrite to the digital devices. The proposed Combined chain code uses the technique to set up a new code index combined a multi-Chain code of the handwrite ray components in order to avoid errors due to the sensitivity of the direction of the normal chain code. It is the directional handwrite recognition technique that reduce the amount of computation and the local recognition error as providing the four-step index through checking chain code of certain sections within the duplicate sampled the number line components. It was able to verify the validity through the result of a simple simulation.
