Background: Disialoganglioside GD2 is a tumor-associated antigen that is overexpressed on tumor cells of neuroectodermal origin, such as melanoma and neuroblastoma. Anti-idiotypic antibodies that mimic GD2 may induce more effective immune responses than GD2 antigen itself, because they are protein antigens and are known to be able to break immune tolerance. In this study, to explore the potential of anti-idiotypic antibodies as tumor vaccines, the ability of anti-idiotypic antibodies (Ab2) to induce anti-anti-idiotypic antibodies (Ab3) that bind to the original antigen GD2 was investigated. Methods: Six monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies (1A8, 1G5, 2B6, 3A4, 3D6, 3H9) to monoclonal antibody M2058, which is a monoclonal antibody to GD2, were produced in mice. Three (1A8, 3A4, 3H9) of them were selected based on their ability to inhibit the binding of Ab1 to D142.34 (murine melanoma cell expressing GD2). These 3 different Ab2 were injected into rabbits, and rabbit Ab3 induced by each of them were characterized. Results: Ab3-containing sera from two rabbits immunized with 1A8, 3A4, or 3H9 bound significantly (P<0.05) to D142.34 but not to B78.96 (GD2-negative cell), and bound significantly (P<0.05) to isolated GD2 but not to GD1a. Ab3-containing sera from two rabbits immunized with 3A4 or 3H9 inhibited significantly (P<0.05) the binding of Ab1 M2058 to D142.34, and inhibited significantly (P<0.05) the binding of Ab1 M2058 to the Ab2. Conclusion: These results suggest that anti-idiotypic antibodies 3A4 and 3H9 have a potential to be used as vaccines against tumors expressing GD2 by inducing GD2-specific antibodies (Ab3).

Ecosystem services play a role in promoting sustainable development by contributing to human welfare. For sustainable development, a balance between supply and demand for ecosystem services must be made. In this regard, in this study, factor analysis was performed using the results of measuring ecosystem services for the supply of ecosystem services and national statistical data representing socio-economic factors for demand for ecosystem services The results of analysis for Gyeong-gi Province are as follows. The service supply based on the result of ecosystem services was divided into the mixed service provisioning as factor1, the food provisioning as factor2, and the P retention service provisioning area as factor3. As for the demand for services based on socio-economic factors, factor1 is divided into urbanized areas, factor2 is forest development area, and factor3 is agricultural activity development area. Local governments that maintain balance were evaluated as Pocheon, Yangpyeong, Icheon, Pyeongtaek, Goyang, Suwon, Gwangmyeong, and Osan, and imbalanced local governments appeared in Gimpo, Uiwang, Anseong, and Yeoju. A management plan to maintain the balance between supply and demand of ecosystem services was suggested. The analysis method and results of this study are expected to be applicable to various local governments through regional expansion.

Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEA) is a decision-making process taking into account the environmental impact, economic and social impact of policies, plans, and programs at the higher stage prior to the project plan for promoting sustainable development. In this study, we analyzed the process and criteria for selecting appropriate alternatives when establishing development plan in SEA. First, the criteria for estimating changes in ecosystem services following the implementation of development project of industrial complex were presented. Second, alternative evaluations were conducted through an analysis of ecosystem service scenarios to explore suitable alternatives in Anseong. As a result, the environmental quality of selected area as the existing project site deteriorated according to the implementation of the project, and the dimensional reduction technique confirmed that the change in ecosystem service factors in project area was the optimal location. In addition, the results of the scenario assessment to explore suitable alternatives in Anseong City showed that the existing site had large capacity in terms of water quality control services (scenario 1), scenario 2 in terms of pre- conditioning services, and scenario 3 in terms of water supply services. The guidance of Ecosystem service assessment is expected to be available in decision-making of large-scale strategies (e.g., SEA) and projects by presenting more quantitative criteria for determining the adequacy and location feasibility of development plans and policy plans. This is expected to require various support, including legislation and revision of related laws, believed to be supported by advanced research.

이 논문은 <옹고집전>이 다양한 감정의 경험을 통해 미성숙한 자아의 상태였던 옹고집이 하나의 개인으로 형성되면서 이 과정에서 발견되는 미묘한 균열 즉, 개인과 사회에 대한 당연한 관계설정에의 의문이 담겨있다는 데에 그 의의가 있는 작품이다. 나를 나보다 더 잘 알고 있는 존재의 등장을 통해 억울함과 분노, 두려움을 느끼는 등 진옹이 거쳐온 감정의 경험과 자신을 객관화하여 바라보고 자기 인식을 하는 것은 그를 성숙한 자아로 이끌고 하나의 개인으로 형성하게 한다. 또한 진옹이 패배하여 공동체를 떠나는 과정에서 발견되는 미묘한 균열은 당연하게 여겼던 개인과 사회의 관계에 문제를 제기하며 개인과 사회를 대립적으로 파악하고 성장한 개인을 부각시키려는 시도가 보인다. 그러나 옹고집이 개과천선에 이르기까지의 과정이 생략되어 있어 그동안 <옹고집전>이 다른 판소리계 소설에 비해 부족하다는 평가를 받으며 그 가치를 인정받지 못한 것으로 보인다. <옹고집전>에는 당연하게 여겼던 사회와 개인의 관계설정에의 문제제기와 고민이 담겨있다. 이 고민은 현대의 개인들에게도 유효한 고민이며 의미 있는 성찰로써 이를 통해 <옹고집전>의 현대적 가치를 발견할 수 있다. 당연한 것으로 여겼던 것들에 문제를 제기하고 시대의 변화와 흐름에 반응하고 고민했던 흔적이 분명하게 발견되는 <옹고집전>을 통해 작품의 새로운 가치를 찾아내기 위한 노력이 필요하다고 생각한다. This study is a work that as OngGojip who had a state of an immature ego forms as an individual through diverse emotional experiences, subtle crack is found in this process, that is to say, question on establishment of relationships about an individual and the society that is naturally regarded is contained in a work that it has a significance. Through an appearance of an existence who knows me more than myself, Jin Ong experiences emotions such as dejection, grievance, and fear, and Jin Ong sees and perceives himself by objectifying himself, which lead him to become an individual who has a mature ego. Additionally, an attempt to highlight an grown-up individual by raising a problem on relationship between individuals and society that is reasonably regarded is a delicate crack, which is found in the process when Jin Ong leaves a community because of Jin Ong’s failure. However, since the process that OngGojip underwent to the point of becoming a new man is omitted that it seems that meanwhile OngGojipjeon is assessed as inferior, compared to other novels of pansori field and that its value is not recognized. OngGojipjeon contains concern and problem-posing on establishment of relationship between a society and individuals, which is rightly considered. This concern is a valid concern for current individuals and meaningful introspection, and through these we can find modern values. Through OngGojipjeon that include clear traces of concerns and responses to age’s change and stream and problem-posing on things that are justly regarded, I think an effort shall be made to seek new values of the work.
Effects of Mitosene Analogues on Growth Inhibition of Human Cervical Cancer Cell Lines

실험적 자궁암 치료제로서 본 연구소에서 합성한 마이토센유사체를 인체 자궁암세포주인 SiHa, C33A, HeLa, CaSKi에 처리하여, 체외 항암활성 측정시 합성 마이토센유사체들은 이 들 세포주에 대하여 대조 항암제들에 비하여 의의있는 세포독성을 보였으며, SiHa 세포주를 이용한 종양클론형성억제검사에서는 22번 화합물만의 종양성장 억제활성이 가장 우수하였고 다른 화합물들은 대조항암제들에 비하여 활성이 낮았다. 이 마이토센유사체들에 대한 체외 항암감수성결과는 향후 전임상적인 자궁경부암 화합요법제의 기초자료로 유용할것으로 생각된다. To develop a promising alkylating agents for anti-cervical cancer chemotherapy, five mitosene analogues were synthesized. Despite the potentiality of better cytotoxicity on solid tumor cells as opposed to that on rapidly-doubled leukemic cells, there have been no reports on the inhibition of the cervical cancer cell line by mitosene analogues. The present experiment was designed to investigate whether mitosene analogues can effectively inhibit the cellular proliferation of cervical cancer cells by using an in vitro chemosensitivty system. The mitosene analogues displayed a potent cytotoxic effect on the tested cervical cancer cell lines. Among the analogues, (22) compound gave the best inhibitory effect on SiHa tumor colonies formation. These data indicate that mitosene analogues can effectively inhibit the growth of cervical cancer cells in vitro.
