마이카 고전압 커패시터의 환경시험과 가속 수명시험을 통한 신뢰성 평가

Mica capacitor is being adopted for high voltage firing unit of guided weapon system because of its superior impact enduring property relative to ceramic capacitor. Reliability of localized mica high voltage capacitors was verified through environmental test like terminal strength test, humidity test, thermal shock test and accelerated life test for application to high voltage firing unit. Failure mode of mica capacitor is a decrease of insulation resistance and its final dielectric breakdown. Main constants of accelerated life model were derived experimentally and voltage constant and activation energy were 5.28 and 0.805 eV respectively. Lifetime of mica capacitor at normal use condition was calculated to be 38.5 years by acceleration factor, 496, and lifetime at accelerated condition and this long lifetime confirmed that mica high voltage capacitor could be applied for firing unit. 마이카 커패시터는 세라믹 커패시터에 비해 내고충격 특성이 우수하여 다양한 유도무기체계의 고전압 기폭장치에 적용된다. 본 연구에서는 국산화된 마이카 고전압 커패시터의 고전압 기폭장치 적용을 위해 단자강도시험, 내습성시험, 열충격시험과 같은 환경시험과 함께 가속 수명 시험을 진행하였다. 마이카 고전압 커패시터의 고장모드는 절연저항 감소 및 이를 통한 절연 파괴이다. 가속수명모델의 중요 상수를 실험적으로 도출하였으며 전압계수 n 및 활성화 에너지 E<sub>a</sub>는 각각 5.28 및 0.805 eV이었다. 가속모델식을 이용하여 도출한 가속계수는 496이었으며 가속수명시험을 통해 도출된 정상 사용 조건에서의 마이카 고전압 커패시터의 수명은 38.5년으로 기폭장치 적용에 문제가 없는 것으로 확인되었다.
서스펜션 플라즈마 스프레이 코팅법을 이용한 이트리아 코팅막 제조와 특성

The suspension plasma spraying is a modification of conventional plasma spray techniques that has been developed to overcome the challenge of using fine particles in plasma spray processes. In this study, microstructure developments and mechanical property of yttrium oxide (Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) coatings prepared by the suspension plasma spray coating technique have been investigated to determine the effect of processing parameters including plasma gun current and total gas flow. The results showed that a highly dense Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> coating having low porosity of 0.2 vol% without any lamellar structures can be achieved at the optimum condition of gun current 200 A and total gas flow 220 L/min. 서스펜션 플라즈마 스프레이 법은 미세한 분말을 용사 공정에 적용함으로써 전통적인 플라즈마 스프레이 법의 단점을 극복하고자 개발된 코팅법이다. 본 연구에서는 고밀도의 Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 코팅막을 제조하기 위해 서스펜션 플라즈마 스프레이법을 이용하여 플라즈마 건의 전류량과 총 가스 유량을 공정변수로 하여 코팅막을 제조하였으며, 그에 따른 코팅막 특성에 대한 연구를 하였다. 코팅막의 미세구조 및 물리적 특성 평가 결과 플라즈마 건 전류량 200 A, 총 가스 유량 220 L/min의 조건에서 층상 결함 없이 0.2 vol%의 매우 낮은 기공률을 갖는 고밀도의 Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 코팅막을 제조할 수 있었다.

점막 상피는 외부 인자를 감지하는 최전선의 인식부위로서 외부스트레스 자극을 하부의 반응 신호로 전달하는 주요 세포이다. 리보솜독성 반응을 유발하는 데옥시니발레놀(DON) 및 그 관련 곰팡이 독소는 푸자륨 곰팡이 오염에 의한 식중독성 소화기 염증성 질환과의 연관성이 알려 져 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 DON이 상피세포 감지 신호 전달 분자로서 PKR과 EGR-1이 관련 되고 이들이 상피세포에서의 염증성 사이토카인 인터루킨 8의 생성에 관련 된다는 가정 하에서 연구를 수행 하였다. PKR 발현의 세포내 작용 억제는 DON에 의해 유도되는 인터루킨 8의 생성을 감소시켰다. 또한 DON에 의한 IL-8 전사 활성화는 PKR 억제에 의하여 장관 상피세포에서 감소하였다. PKR 저해제의 처리는 EGR-1 promoter 활성, mRNA, 단백질 유도 등을 감소를 유발하였으며 MAP kinase (ERK1/2, p38, JNK)는 변화가 적거나 오히려 PKR 저해제의 전처리에 의하여 항진 되었다. 결론적으로 DON에 의해 자극된 감지신호인 EGR-1은 자체적으로 또는 PKR 신호를 경유하여 인터루킨8의 생산을 항진하는데 주요한 기능을 하였다. 이를 통하여 향후 리보솜 독성 반응과 관련된 소화기 염증유발의 주요한 기전을 제공하고 있다. Mucosal epithelia sense external stress signals and transmit them to the intracellular cascade responses. Ribotoxic stress-producing chemicals such as deoxynivalenol (DON) or other trichothecene mycotoxins have been linked with gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases by Fusarium-contamination. The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that DON evokes the epithelial sentinel signals of RNA-dependent protein kinase (PKR) and early growth response gene 1 (EGR-1), which together contribute to the pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin 8 (IL-8) in human intestinal epithelial cells. PKR suppression by the dominant negative PKR expression attenuated DON-stimulated interleukin-8 production. Moreover, IL-8 transcriptional activation by DON was also reduced by PKR inhibition in the human intestinal epithelial cells. Treatment with the PKR inhibitor also suppressed EGR-1 promoter activity, mRNA and protein induction, although mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases such as extracellular signal-regulated protein kinases (ERK) 1/2, p38, c-Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK) were little affected or even enhanced in presence of a PKR inhibitor. These patterns were also compared in the EGR-1-suppressed cells, which showed much more suppressed production of IL-8. All things taken into consideration, DON-activated sentinel signals of EGR-1 via PKR mediated interleukin-8 production in human intestinal epithelial cells, which provide insight into the possible general mechanism associated with mucosal inflammation as an intestinal toxic insult by ribotoxic trichothecene mycotoxins.

In this paper, the design procedure and results for "Ship Hull’s Residual Life Prediction System Considering Corrosion" are explained. As one method to predict the hull’s residual life, probabilistic approach is adopted using corrosion measurement data of ship"s major structural members. This method is to predict a concerned ship’s residual life through the stochastic treatment of the huge amount corrosion data of familiar registered ships. Usually the corrosion data are recorded and managed using IACS’ thickness measurement sheet form, which supplies the standard format corresponding to each types of ships; bulker, tanker or container etc.. In this study, the effective way and method are suggested and implemented how to classify the ship hull’s main structures, to classify the corrosion environmental conditions, and to read the sheet data’s information automatically. Finally the systemically predicted results of the ship hull’s residual life are discussed.

부식을 고려한 선체잔여수명예측의 한 방법으로 실측자료에 기반한 통계확률적 방법을 활용할 수 있다. 이는 유사 실적선에 대한 방대한 부식자료의 통계적 처리를 통하여 관심 선박 주요 부재에 대한 부식 추이를 효과적으로 예측하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 IACS 표준양식인 Thickness Measurement Sheet에 기반하여 선종 별, 부식환경별 주요 구조부재를 분류하는 방법, 또한 기존의 방대한 측정자료를 효과적으로 정보화하는 방법을 포함하여 현재 개발 중인 선체잔여수명예측 시스템을 소개한다.

Objective; The purpose of this study was to improve the notification system of Corporal Medical Check-up (CMC) results by comparing and analyzing the satisfaction level, based on the method of examination result distribution. The Republic of Korea army adopted CMC since 2013, contributing to the maintenance of the best combat power. Transmitting CMC results through mobile services became possible recently since rank and file soldiers gained access to mobile phones after work hours. Method; This study was performed using a 4-sectioned survey, including the general awareness of CMC to a subject of 100 soldiers who received CMC results by official paper document and another 100 through mobile service, in cooperation with PEERNINE Co. After omitting nonresponders, 95 and 93 soldiers' data of each method were collected and analyzed using SAS 94. Results; The data analyzing the satisfaction level based on the methods of receiving CMC results showed that distribution of medial results through mobile service outperformed overall positive figures in comparison to the method of receiving results by official document paper. Conclusion; Based on the result of this study, the military needs to actively review the following three points. First, mobile transmission system should be introduced in the notification method of medical check up results. Second, health examination should be considered in the promotion factor of soldiers. Third, post management services should be provided. These improvements will greatly contribute to the improvement of military combat power.
개조개(Saxidomus purpuratus) 패각분말로부터 젖산칼슘의 제조 및 특성

To facilitate the effective use of butter clam shell as a natural calcium resource, we determined the optimal conditions for calcium lactate (BCCL) preparation with high solubility using response surface methodology (RSM). The polynomial models developed by RSM for pH, solubility and yield were highly effective in describing the relationships between factors (P<0.05). Increased molar ratios of calcined powder (BCCP) from butter clam shell led to reduced solubility, yield, color values and overall quality. The critical values of multiple response optimization to independent variables were 1.75 M and 0.94 M for lactic acid and BCCP, respectively. The actual values (pH 7.23, 97.42% for solubility and 423.22% for yield) under optimization conditions were similar to the predicted values. White indices of BCCLs were in the range of 86.70-90.86. Therefore, organic acid treatment improved color value. The buffering capacity of BCCLs was strong, at pH 2.82 to 3.80, upon the addition of less than 2 mL of 1 N HCl. The calcium content and solubility of BCCLs were 6.2-16.7 g/100 g and 93.6-98.5%, respectively. Fourier transform analysis of infrared spectroscopy data identified BCCL as calcium lactate pentahydrate, and the analysis of microstructure by field emission scanning electron microscopy revealed an irregular form.
