We experienced 29 cases of patients with a chief complaint of hemoptysis who were performed pulmonary resection at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Pusan Medical Center Hospital for 3 years from May 1990 to April 1993. The mean age of hemoptysis patients was 34.7 year old, and hemoptysis was most prevalent in third and fourth decades. The underlying lung diseases of hemoptysis patients were tuberculosis in 12[41.4% , bronchiectasis in 9[31.0% , lung cancer in 4[13.8% , aspergyllosis in 3[10.3% and pneumonia in 1[3.5% . Modes of hemoptysis were blood tinged in 7[24.1% , massive in 22[75.9% . Operation times were elective in 7[24.1% of all blood tinged hemoptysis, delayed in 20[69.0% , emergency in 2[6.9% out of massive hemoptysis. The cases of the definite bleeding focus found by bronchoscopy were 19 cases[65.5% . The operative procedures of hemoptysis were single lobectomy in 14[48.3% , pneumonectomy in 6[20.7% , lobectomy with segmentectomy in 5[17.2% , bilobectomy in 3[10.3% and segmentectomy in 1[3.5% . The postoperative results of hemoptysis were complete recovery in 27[93.0% , rehemoptysis in 1[3.5% which was treated by anti-Tbc medication completely, and hospital death in 1[3.5% which was brain metastasis of lung cancer. It was concluded that definitive diagnosis, preoperative control of hemoptysis and operation were important in the management of hemoptysis patients.

폐격리증이란 기형적 동맥에 의해 영양공급을 받는 대생 폐조직의 일부를 일컫는 용어이다. 이는 두 가지로 대별되며 -외협형과 내엽형- 다른 임상양상을 보인다. 본 과에서는 폐국균증을 동반한 내엽형 폐격리증 1례를 경험하였다. 환자는 32세 여자로 특별한 증상은 없었으며, 우연히 낭종성 병변을 지닌 폐종물이 발견되었다. 수술시야에서 하폐인대의 비정상적 동맥을 보어 폐격리증으로 진단하고, 우하엽 절제술을 시행하였다. The bronchopulmonary sequestration is a term used to describe an area of embryonic lung tissue supplied by an anomalous systemic artery. Two forms are recognised -extralobar and intralobar- with different clinical presentations. We have experienced a case of aspergillosis within an intralobar sequestration. The patient was 32 year-old female and had no specific complaints. The lung mass containing cystic lesion was found incidentally and confirmed to be intralobar sequestration on the operative field which showed aberrant artery in the inferior pulmonary ligament. 모델 기반 접근 방법을 이용한 임베디드 S/W를 위한 API 변환기의 개발

본 논문에서는 모델 기반 접근 방법을 이용하여 임베디드 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 자동화된 API 변환기에 대하여 기술한다. MDA(Model Driven Architecture)가 임베디드 소프트웨어의 개발에 관해서는 지원이 매우 미약하기 때문에, 우리는 MDA의 장점인 구현 공정의 자동화를 포함하면서도 실시간 오버헤드 문제를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 접근 방법을 제시한다. 첫 번째로, 어느 특정 RTOS에 의존하지 않지만 전형적인 RTOS 서비스들의 대부분을 제공할 수 있도록 Generic API를 정의한다. 우리는 이 Generic API를 이용하여 타겟 응용프로그램의 RTOS와 관련된 행동을 CIC(Common Intermediate Code)에서 표현할 수 있다. 그 다음에, Generic API를 이용하여 기술된 CIC를 특정 RTOS에서 수행할 수 있는 C-코드로 변환할 수 있는 변환 툴을 제안한다. 제안된 API 변환기는 외부에 정의되어 있는 XML 변환 규칙을 이용하여 코드를 변환한다. 따라서 API 변환기는 이 변환 규칙을 수정하거나 추가하여 다른 RTOS로 적용할 수 있도록 확장이 가능하다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법을 확인한다. In this paper, we present an automated API translator for embedded software development based on a model-driven approach. Since MDA(Model Driven Architecture) provides little support for the development of embedded software, we propose a new method which contains the MDA's advantage, automation of implement process, and can solve the problem of real-time overhead. First, we define 'generic APIs' which do not depend on any RTOS's but provide most of typical RTOS services. We can describe RTOS-related behaviors of target application using these generic APIs in a CIC(Common Intermediate Code). Then, we propose a transformation tool for translating a CIC using generic APIs into a C-code for specific RTOS. The proposed API translator converts them into C-code using XML transformation rule which is defined outside. It indicates that an API translator extends to other RTOS's by modifying or adding the transformation rule. From the experiment, we validate the proposed method.

In this paper, an interface unit is designed to efficiently monitor transmission data in Controller An-a Network(CAN)-based control systems. The CAN uses a serial multi-master communication protocol that efficiently supports distributed real-time control with a very high level of data integrity, and communication speeds of up to lMbps. The interface unit is composed of a DSP controller which collects data on the CAN bus and transfers data to a personal computer via serial communication to save and display of interesting signals. The experimental system consists of three DSP controllers which represent electronic control units of a vehicle, an interface unit for analysing the data on the bus and a graphic monitoring program coded on the Windows platform. The validity and the effectiveness of the proposed simple type of CAN interface unit are shown through the experimental results.
임베디드 S/W 개발을 위한 RTOS API 변환기의 설계 및 구현

In this paper, we present a model-driven approach to RTOS(Real Time Operating System)-based embedded software development and an automated tool that can produce RTOS-specific code. we defined generic RTOS APIs(Application Programming Interface) that are not bound to any specific RTOS but can provide most of typical RTOS services. The generic RTOS APIs can be used as a means for describing application's RTOS-related behavior from design stage. Out tool, called Trans-PI, is able to produce specific 'C' code aimed at POSIX(Portable Operating System Interface for UNIX)-compliant RTOSs. And it is also configurable to target other RTOSs that do not conform to the POSIX standard.
