본 논문에서는 고속 직렬 링크에 사용할 수 있는 5비트 2.0GS/s 2-way time interleaved 파이프라인 ADC 기반의 수신기를 소개한다. 샘플링 주파수를 높이기 위해, ADC 각 단은 트랙킹과 증폭이 동시에 수행되는 전류 모드 구조를 사용하였다. 또한 ADC 각단에 1-tap FIR 등화기를 탑재하여 별도의 디지털 후처리 없이 채널의 ISI를 감소시켰다. 제안한 수신기는 110nm 공정을 사용하여 설계하였다. 메모리를 제외한 수신기는 $0.58{\times}0.42mm^2$의 크기를 갖고, 동작전압 1.2V에서 91mW의 전력을 소모한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 2.0GS/s 샘플링 주파수에서 20MHz의 입력 주파수와 Nyquist 주파수인 1.0GHz 입력신호에 대하여 동일하게 26.0dB의 SNDR과 4.0비트의 ENOB특성을 확보하였다. In this paper, a 5-bit 2-GS/s 2-way time interleaved pipeline ADC for high-speed serial link receiver is demonstrated. Implemented as a current-mode amplifier, the stage ADC simultaneously processes the tracking and residue amplification to achieve higher sampling rate. In addition, each stage incorporates a built-in 1-tap FIR equalizer, reducing inter-symbol-interference (ISI)without an extra digital post-processing. The ADC is designed in a 110nm CMOS technology. It comsumes 91mW from a 1.2-V supply. The area excluding the memory block is $0.58{\times}0.42mm^2$. Simulation results show that when equalizer is enabled, the ADC achieves SNDR of 25.2dB and ENOB of 3.9bits at 2.0GS/s sample rate for a Nyquist input signal. When the equalizer is disengaged, SNDR is 26.0dB for 20MHz-1.0GHz input signal, and the ENOB of 4.0bits.

N/A Objectives: Human cytomegalovirus(CMV) infections are common and usually asymptomatic, but fatal infections occur frequently in immunocompromised patients. In Korea, CMV infection is common and patients with liver cirrhosis are frequently in a condition of immunosuppression, may predispose to the frequent occurrence of CMV infections. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of CMV infection in patients with liver cirrhosis and to evaluate the relationship between the status of C3:IV infection and liver function. Methods, The subjects of this study were 36patients with liver cirrhosis, 4patients with non A, non B, non C(NANRNC) hepatitis, and 13normal controls. IgG and IgKI antibodies to CMV were measured using a microparticle enzyme immunoassay(MEIA). Specimens of urine were cultured for CMV using shell vial culture method. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) were investigated for the presence of CMV-DNA using PCR. Rusults: In CMU antibody test, IgM and IgG antibodies were detected in 7(19.4%) of 36patients with liver cirrhosis, IgG antibody was detected in the other 29patients and all control subjects. In shell vial culture, CMV was cultured in 1(2.8%) of 36patients with liver cirrhosis(IgM and IgG positive). CMV DNA was detected by PCR in 19(52.8%) of 36patients with liver cirrhosis, but 1(7.7%) of 13 control subjects (p<0.05). CMV DNA was detected in 6(85.7%) of 7cirrhotic patients with IgM and IgG antibodies positive, 13(44.8%) of 29cirrhotic patients with IgG antibody positive. CMV DNA positive cirrhotic patients show 5(26.3%) in Child A, 6(31.6%) in Child H, 8(42.1%) in Child C. CMV DNA negative cirrhotic patients show 4(23.5%) in Child A, 12(70.6%) in Child B, 1(5.9%) in Child C(p<0.05). CMV DY:A positive cirrhotic patients showed the tendency of more frequent detection of HBsAg and HBeAg than CMU DNA negative cirrhotic patients(p<0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that CMV infection is common in cirrhotic patients and the CMV DNA positive patients with liver cirrhosis have more impairment of liver function than the CMV DNA negative patients with liver cirrhosis.

The diagnosis of hilar cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is usually accomplished through a combination of imaging modalities and endoscopic examination including tissue sampling. Although high quality cross-sectional imagings provide evidences for hilar obstruction and a malignancy arising from the bile duct, a definitive diagnosis and staging often obtained through the use of endoscopic procedures. It can provide complementary information for accurate tumor extension and tissue acquisition for histologic confirmation. These informations are important in determining therapeutic options. However, despite the various available techniques, the diagnosis and accurate staging of hilar CCA is often still challenging. Newly developed adjunctive diagnostic endoscopic techniques including intraductal ultrasound and cholangioscopy improve the accuracy of endoscopic diagnosis of this lesion. Multiple endoscopic modalities can be tried to obtain accurate assessment of the tumor. Therefore, endoscopy will continue to occupy an important position in assessment of the hilar CCA. The transport mechanisms of the MTES (methyltriethoxysilane) templating silica/a-alumina composite membrane were evaluated by using four binary and one quaternary hydrogen mixtures through permeation experiments at unsteady- and steady-states. Since the permeation flux in the MTES membrane, through the experimental and theoretical studies, was affected by molecular sieving effects as well as surface diffusion properties, the kinetic and equilibrium separation should be considered simultaneously according to molecular properties. In order to depict the transient multi-component permeation on the templating silica membrane, the GMS (generalized Maxwell-Stefan) and DGM (dust gas model) were adapted to unsteady-state material balance.
