Software-In-the-Loop Simulation (SILS) and Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) are proposed as anintegrated development environment to support the development process from system design to implementation. SILS isan environment used to simulate control systems with temporal behavior. RCP offers seamless phase shift from design toimplementation based on automatic code generation. There are several toolsets that support control system design andcover temporal behavior which appears after implementation. In earlier toolsets, the design and the implementation of acontrol system are considered as two separate processes which mean the conventional development process is notconnected strictly. SILS/RCP environments work under an identical platform and use the same representation for system modeling. An integrated SILS/RCP environment makes it posible to design controllers under conditions similar to real execution during off-line simulation and to realize controllers in the early design phase. SILS/RCP environments integrate the design and implementation phases which reduce the time-to-market and provide greater performance-assured design. The establishment of SILS/RCP and the practical design approaches are presented.

The SILS(Software In the Loop Simulation) is a simulator to consider the functional and temporal behavior of a real-time system. The RCP(Rapid Control Prototyping) offers seamless phase shift from system designs to implementations. These environments are needed for the effective development process of embedded control systems. In general, these two environments are supplied separately, so that the development process is divided into two phases, the simulation and the implementation. The proposed SILS/RCP environments integrate these two phases, in order to support a more similar simulation environment to real execution on the MCU and an immediate implementation environment from same design semantics. The seamless design process can reduce time-to-market and support more performance-assured design. This paper discusses the establishment of SILS/RCP environments and practical design approach using them.

This study investigates Gyeonggi-do’s female companies and its fostering policy implementation by focusing on a feasible plan. In this paper, we are to find a way to improve the policy planning for supporting efficiently the female companies in Gyeonggi-do. To do this, we analyze the business conditions and difficulties that female companies face in reality, based on a survey. In addition, we revisit the previous supporting policy plans for fostering the female companies. Numerous policies for supporting the foundation and activity of the female company have been established since “the Act for women entrepreneurship” was enacted in 1999. As a result, a number of the female companies have been increasing. However, 90% of the female companies are still small and medium-size enterprise and usually focus on a whole sale and retail, service, and general restaurants. According to our survey, more than 90% of female companies in Gyeonggi-do have no experience on the participation of policy. This result implies that the incentive for participating policy is not enough to cover spending time in searching the policy and proceeding the application process. In this paper, we suggest 14 policies for supporting the female companies in Gyeonggi-do. These policies focus on expanding business field and promoting the sustainable growth with quality for the female companies in Gyeonggi-do.
