        마이크로 채널 내에서의 유전영동을 이용한 입자의 연속적인 분리에 대한 연구

        In this work, a dielectrophoresis-based particle-separation device is developed which is to be used to continuously separate particles in microchannels. We fabricated the particle-separation device with combining the benefits of electrode-based DEP and insulator-based DEP. The DEP forces are generated by an array of electrodes located in both sidewalls of a main channel. According to the magnitude and frequency of electrical signals, particles with different dielectric properties experience different DEP forces, and therefore, continuously move along different streamlines in the main flow channel without need of pre-focusing process. Based on this mechanism, we examined the performance of the device by controlling the trajectory of polystyrene particles. This device is applicable to the investigation of dielectric properties of biological cells as well as the continuous separation of biological cells.         협동학습이 일부 초등학생의 성교육에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learner-centered methods of sex education. Methods: This study was carried out on 5th grade elementary school students in D-district. Nine classes were divided into 3 groups using each different teaching methods: group A (a cooperative learning), group B (a lecture) and group C (a control group for a comparison). The study period was from Oct. 17 to Dec. 2 in 2011. Both groups A and B received sex education lessons for 40 minutes for 4 weeks and were tested their sex knowledge and attitude to compare the differences. Results: The scores of sex knowledge for all three groups were increased and their sex attitude was increased as well. The points of sex knowledge between pre and post test in group A are greater than the group B's. Thus, the cooperative learning approach with Group A was more effective to improve student's sex knowledge. But the difference between the sex attitude scores was not statistically significant. Group A and B showed a positive improvement in both their sex knowledge and attitudes compared with the control group. Conclusion: This experiment shows that an active teaching methods is more effective to improve student sex knowledge than a passive approach. Thus, a cooperative learning method results in increases of both student's sex knowledge and interests in learning sex education. It needs to develop more diverse teaching methods and programs on sex education that are more systematic and tailored.

        발달장애 아동을 대상으로 한 어린이 낮병원 프로그램의 효과에 대한 후향적 분석

        Objectives:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a day-hospital treatment program designed to help development of children with pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) and mental retardation (MR). Methods:Retrospective review of the charts of 32 children (28 with PDD, 4 with MR), who participated in a day-hospital treatment program of Seoul Metropolitan Eunpyeong Hospital, from October 2008 to February 2012, was conducted. Development level of each patient was evaluated according to the Psycho-Educational Profile-Revised (PEP-R), Social Maturity Scale (SMS), and Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS). Evaluation was done at two points, before participation and after 1 year participation. Results:Children who participated in the day-hospital treatment program showed significant improvement in all categories of PEP-R, SMS, and CARS. Conclusion:Day-hospital treatment program is effective for helping development of children with PDD and MR.

      • 『孝經』을 통해 본 인성교육 방안

        우리나라는 예로부터 ‘동방예의지국’이라 불릴 정도로 예절이 중시되는 사회였다. 그중에서도 부모에 대한 효가 지극한 나라로 알려져 왔다. 그러나 오늘날 우리 사회는 급속한 산업화와 공업화로 인한 경제 성장으로 생활은 많이 윤택해졌으나, 그로 인한 폐해 또한 적지 않게 나타나고 있다. 국민의 윤리의식은 점점 황폐해지기 시작했고, 자신의 안위만을 생각하는 개인주의와 이기주의가 사회에 팽배해지기 시작했으며, 돈이면 무엇이든 다 된다는 물질만능주의가 사회를 지배하기 시작했다. 사회 곳곳, 모든 계층에서 실리와 물질적 이익이 중요한 판단의 근거가 되었으며 이로 인해 정신적 ‧ 문화적 황폐화는 더욱 심화되어 가고 있다. 그 결과로 반인륜적 패륜 행위가 만연되어 가고 있으며, 그 수법 또한 점점 잔인해지고 대담해지고 있다. 부모의 재산을 노린 남매의 존속 살해로 얼마 전 매스컴을 뜨겁게 달구었던 뉴스도 그 한 예라 하겠다. 본고는 이러한 사회적 병폐를 극복하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 『효경』을 통해서 우리의 전통윤리인 효 사상으로 바른 도덕성 함양을 위한 인성교육 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 『효경』은 유가의 주요 경전인 十三經의 하나로, 동양의 효 사상을 대표하는 경전이다. 특히 중국과 한국 등 유교 중심 국가의 정치와 교육, 사회의 중요한 지침서 역할을 해왔다. 『효경』에서는 사람다움을 위한 실천의 제일로 孝를 말하고 있다. 효는 天理이자 地道로서 마땅히 사람이 따라야 하는 것이며, 그 실천을 통해 비로소 사람다움을 이룰 수 있는 것이다. 오늘날 많은 가치 덕목들이 사람들의 무관심 속에서 멀어져 갈 때도 효는 아직까지 많은 사람들에게 보편적 가치 덕목으로 자리 잡고 있다. 그렇기에 이러한 효 사상만이 우리 사회가 지니고 있는 물질주의와 개인적 이기주의를 극복할 수 있는 밑거름이 될 수 있다고 생각된다. 우리나라는 오랜 동안 유교 문화 속에서 생활해온 관계로 효는 누구에게나 익숙하고 친숙한 덕목이다. 우리의 전통윤리인 효는 부모에게 효도하고, 자식을 사랑하는 것에 그치는 것이 아니라, 이것이 사회로 확대되어 웃어른을 공경하고, 이웃과 함께 공동체적 삶을 영위하고, 한걸음 더 나아가 국가에까지 확대되어 충성을 다하는 것을 윤리로 삼고 있다. 이러한 효 윤리를 확충시켜 나가는 길만이 실종 되어가는 인성을 바람직한 방향으로 정립하는데 절대적인 영향력을 미칠 수 있다고 판단된다. 나의 마음과 상대방의 마음을 같이 보고, 내 부모를 섬기는 마음으로 이웃의 부모인 웃어른을 섬기며, 나아가 내 형제를 대하는 마음으로 타인을 대한다면 서로가 서로에게 믿음을 주는 밝은 사회를 이룩할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 효는 생활 속에서 교만하지 않고 늘 삼가는 태도와 올바른 행동을 이끌며, 타인에 대한 따뜻한 배려의 마음을 지니게 한다. 이러한 효는 오늘날 우리 사회가 지니고 있는 개인중심적이고 물질중심적인 삭막해진 사고방식을 사람에 대한 사랑과 믿음으로 변화시킬 수 있는 훌륭한 덕목이다. 시대를 넘어 『효경』속에 흐르는 효의 근본정신은 어제와 오늘이 다르지 않다. 이러한 효 사상을 어제와 다르지 않은 오늘의 정신으로 확대하여 21세기를 보다 건강하게 채워나가야 하겠다. We put emphasis on proprieties so that Korea has been called as the country of courteous people in the East from ancient times. Among them, filial duties to one’s parents are conspicuous. However, despite our abundant lives in comfortable circumstances due to rapid industrialization and development, the harmful effects subsequent to that are also too great. Our national sense of ethics has gradually been corrupted, individualism and egoism have been spread, and mammonism is governing our society. Practical interests and material gain on all sides have been the grounds for valuation so that mental and cultural devastations are much deepened. This causes behaviors and crimes against humanity to be rampant and their means are also more brutal and brave as days go by. The piece of news published by all media lately for patricide of son and daughter for their parents’ property is an example. This study aims at suggesting the plan for personality education for nourishing right morality through our traditional filial duties written in Hyogyeong, which is one of the Thirteen Classics, the main scriptures of Confucianism, representing the thought of the filial duties in the Orient. In particular, it has been the main guide book for politics, education and society in Confucianism-centered countries such as China and Korea. Filial duty is the first practice of humanity in it. That is, filial duty is the principles of heaven and earth, which should be followed by people who would become true men by its practice. Nowadays although lots of virtue values are disappearing in an air of indifference, filial duty still remains in our memory as a universal virtue value. Thus only the thought of filial duty can be the basis for conquering materialism and individualism in our society. As our country has been in Confucian culture for a long time, filial duty is the virtue value familiar to us. It is one of our traditional ethics that emphasizes not only serving one’s parents with devotion and loving one’s children, but also respecting one’s senior, living community lives with one’s neighbors and showing fidelity towards one’s country. Therefore, only when its ethics are expanded, they can give great influences on establishing one’s personality toward right direction. When one can consider other’s mind as one’s mind, serving other’s parents like one’s parents, and treat others like one’s brothers, we can build a reliable and bright society. In addition, filial duty can enable us to live our lives with attitudes toward abstinence and behaviors toward pertinence without arrogance and to give thoughtful consideration to others. It is one of the excellent virtue values that can change material and individual way of thinking into that of love and belief in people. The basic thoughts in Hyogyeong are common to the past and the present beyond times. Therefor by expanding such thoughts to those of the present, we should make the 21st century more sound and robust.
