        Currently, the Korean railway standards (KRS), managed by Korea National Railroad, have been managed by the Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation. According to Korean railway safety law, which were established for the guarantee of railway safety, the management of KRS including enactment and revision of technical standards for railway vehicle and components, was committed to Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI). In this paper, the detailed master plan for the management of KRS will be introduced for the effective management of KRS, and KRS management direction for the future will be suggested.

        혈청 종양표지자 CA125가 극도로 상승한 자궁샘근육종

        We report a very high serum level of serum CA 125 in a patient with adenomyosis. Elevated serum CA 125 is useful for the management of patients with ovarian cancer but has also been associated with several benign conditions, including adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy, menstruation, and endometriosis. Adenomyosis refers to the endometrial glands and stroma located deep within the myometrium. Here we report a patient with an elevated, rising serum CA 125 level over 1,000 IU/mL without any malignancy. Exploratory laparoscopy with LAVH (Laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy) and multiple peritoneal biopsies were performed. Histologically, the lesion was confirmed to be an adenomyosis. The level of serum CA 125 was 38 IU/mL on the fifth postoperative day.

        3차원 초음파를 이용하여 임신 16주에 산전진단된 손가락 결손증

        Split hand malformation is a rare malformation with various presentations. The current report describes a case of split hand malformation detected using 2D and 3D ultrasonography at 16 weeks` gestation. 2D ultrasonographic findings were split hand malformation in the right hand and monodactyly in the left hand , and those findings were confirmed and further clarified using 3D imaging. Postmortem X ray findings were consistent with the ultrasonographic findings. We conclude that 3D ultrasonography can assist in clarifying 2D ultrasonography findings of hand malformations during the second trimester of pregnancy.

      • 가스압접 레일의 특성에 관한 연구

        CWR technology is generally believed to contribute to the increase of train speed and bring a variety of significant advantages, such as the decrease in track works, noise and vibration as well as the improvement of passenger comfort. In CWR technology, welding is considered to be one of the most important element technologies. Among the various welding methods, gas pressure welding is the most frequently used in vicinity of train line station since the operation is simple and the instruments are not heavy. The gas pressure welding is constructed exactly by good manual book on which simple and excellent welding methods is written and has the same performance as raw material. But this can be poor in the variety of the processing of rail end surface to be welded, the control of oxyacetylene flame and axil compressive force. This study tries to describe the characteristics of gas pressure welding, defect-causing factors and preventive counterplan of defects.

        골프 드라이버 스윙 하체의 운동학적 분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the kinematic factors of the golf driver swing affecting the nether limbs region. For this purpose, joint angle were calculated. In order to determine the load on the nether limbs region, a triple segmental system was set for ankle, knee, and hip joint angle working on the nether limbs region were estimated. For this study, a total of 4 profession at golfers were sampled, and then, their driver swings were recorded with 4 high-speed digital video cameras (180 frames/sec.) to be synthesized into 3-dimensional images and coordinated. All data were calculated using Lab VIEW 7.0 graphic program. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; It was found that the joint movement was generated on ankle, knee, and hip joints in the direction of the target, and that the joint movement was changed rapidly in the direction of target immediately before impact. The joint movement was generated towards the target to activate the nodes, and then, it was generated in the reverse direction to increase the speed during impact. Especially, in the case of left nether limb, the strongest fixed segment was generated to maximize the momentum. The load to left nether limb can be estimated from the joint force which was operated over the weight. Also, the load to out range of joint can be estimated with any injury before and after the impact by anatomical shape of knee.

      • 교량 토공 접속부에서 궤도강성변화에 대한 실험적 연구

        In order to evaluate the effect of impact load at support stiffness transition area, the field estimations are performed at the transition zone between earthwork and bridge on test operation of KTX. Due to differential settlement caused by the variations of track support stiffness, large impact forces are investigated. However, the measured values such as wheel load, rail stress, displacement and acceleration in the transition area shows that the stiffness changes in the transition area are not abrupt, and the stiffness in the infra track structure varies continuously. In this experimental study. the parameters influencing safety of transition area are not governed by partial or local stiffness because cumulative passing loads are not sufficient on test operation of KTX.

        염색체이상 선별검사로서 태아 목덜미투명대 측정과 정맥관 도플러검사의 임상적 효용성

        목적: 염색체이상을 선별하는 검사로서 목덜미투명대 (FNT) 측정과 정맥관 도플러검사 (DV Doppler)의 임상적 효용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 임신 11+0~13+6주 사이, 950예의 임신에서 FNT 측정과 DV Doppler를 시행하여 FNT가 3 mm 이상인 경우와 DV Doppler에서 혈류가 없거나 역전된 소견을 보인 경우, 염색체검사를 시행하였다. 염색체검사 결과상, 비정상 염색체군과 정상 염색체군에서의 FNT 측정과 DV Doppler가 이상 소견을 보인 숫자를 조사하여 민감도와 특이도를 계산하였다. 결과: 추적관리 되지 않은 38예를 제외한 912예 중에서 11예 (1.2%)에서 비정상 염색체를 보였다. 비정상 염색체군 중 8예에서 FNT 증가를 보여 민감도 72.7% 그리고 5예에서 DV Doppler 이상을 보여 민감도 45.4%를 나타냈다. 정상 염색체군 901예 중에서 33예에서 FNT 증가를 보여 특이도 96.3%, 12예에서 DV Doppler 이상을 보여 특이도 98.7%를 나타냈다. 양성 예측치는 FNT 증가의 경우 19.5%, DV Doppler 이상의 경우 29.4%, 두 검사를 병용한 경우 44.4%로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구에서 FNT와 DV Doppler의 효능을 확인할 수 없었다. FNT 증가와 DV Doppler 이상 소견을 같이 적용했을 때, 전반적인 선별 능력의 개선은 없었다. 하지만, 염색체이상에 대한 특이도와 양성 예측치에서는 개선이 있는 것으로 보였다. Objective: To evaluate the efficiency of the measurement of fetal nuchal translucency (FNT) and ductus venosus Doppler examination (DV Doppler) as a screening tool for chromosomal abnormalities. Methods: FNT measurement and DV Doppler were performed in 950 pregnancies between 11+0~13+6 weeks` gestation. Chromosomal analysis was done when FNT was more than 3 mm and DV Doppler showed absent flow or reversed flow. The numbers of cases with increased FNT and abnormal DV Doppler were counted in the groups of abnormal and normal karyotype. Results: Data were available in 912 pregnancies. 11 pregnancies showed abnormal karyotype (1.2%). In the 11 cases with abnormal karyotype, increased FNT was found in 8 cases with 72.7% sensitivity and abnormal DV Doppler was found in 5 cases with 45.4% sensitivity. In the 901 cases with normal karyotype, increased FNT was found in 33 cases with 96.3% specificity and abnormal DV Doppler was found in 12 cases with 98.7% specificity. Positive predictive value was 19.5% in cases of increased FNT, 29.4% in cases of abnormal DV Doppler, and 44.4% in cases of increased FNT and abnormal DV Doppler both. Conclusion: There is no improvement in general screening for chromosomal abnormalities when FNT measurement and DV Doppler were performed together. But better specificity and positive predictive value for chromosomal abnormalities were found.

      • 테르밋 레일용접의 특성에 관한 연구

        CWR technology is generally believed to contribute to the increase of train speed and bring a variety of significant advantages, such as the decrease in track works, noise and vibration as well as the improvement of passenger comfort. In CWR technology, welding is considered to be one of the most important element technologies. Among the various welding methods, thermit welding is the most frequently used one for site welding since the operation is simple and the instruments are light as well as easy to deal with. However, it could cause interference with safety operation of trains since thermit welding points, are essentially made of castings and there are potentialities of defects according to the operation conditions, the environment of the site as well as the dexterity of the worker. This study tries to describe the characteristics of thermit welding, defect-causing factors and defect-detecting methods at welding points.
