A Visual development framework for embedded system is presented based on virtual prototyping. Embedded systems often are used in life critical situation, where reliability is very important. Time_to_market, correctness, user_friendly_design are another features required for embedded system design. However, embedded systems are today designed with an ad hoc approach that is heavily based on earlier experience with similar products. We believe that new design paradigm is needed and it should be based on the use of formal model and visual system to describe the behavior of the system at a high level abstraction. Virtual prototyping has all the required features. It has the following advantages; correct design, clear interface definition, idea experimentation, increased communication. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of VIP/Sim(Virtual Prototyping Simulator), a visionary development framework for embedded system design. New feature such as state polymorphism is augmented to the de_facto standard formal language, statechart, for enhanced dynamic modeling. Actual design experience with VIP/Sim is also discussed.

The conflict between the Sung and Liao dynasty was terminated with the treaty of Chan-yuan in 1004 A.D. Following the treaty, the Sung dynasty concerned herself the pursuit of peace. From the beginning Koryo admired the advanced civilization of Sung China and so sought to satisfy its material and cultural wants by maintaining a harmonious relationship with sung. Thus the relationship between the two countries rested on a peaceful foundation of cultural and economic exchange. As the military pressures exerted by the Liao and Chin mounted, however, Koryo-Song relations required a delicate readjustment. This is because Sung hoped to attack the Lion and Chin from both sides, in alliance with Koryo. However Koryo was unwilling to provoke the Lion or Chin by any action not strictly necessary, and so Koryo did not accede to the Sung demands. Koryo had understood the thrust of events on the continent and so was determined to remain aloof from the confrontation between Sung and Chin. In the situation, Koryo and Sung even suspended for a time their exchange of envoys. Trade formation between Koryo and Sung was divided into official trade and private trade by the subject of trade. In general, however, the trade relationship carried on through the travels of merchants, and the exchange of envoys as well. continued as before. Song Foreign trade ships entered ch`uan-chou, kuang-chou, ming-chou, hang-chou, wen-chou. And the trade between the dynasties were done mostly by the Sung merchants. Song ships entered the Yesong River byok-ran-do. the port for Kaesong. and Jongju harbor, Muju harbor, Kangju harbor, Pungju harbor. Thus Yesong harbor came to flourish at that time as an international trade port.

본 연구에서는 유한요소해석을 이용하여 필라멘트 와인딩된 복합재 압력탱크의 설계방법을 정립하였다. 하중을 분담하는 금속재 라이너의 유무에 따라서 각각 설계를 수행하였다. 그리고, 반복적인 설계의 효율을 높이기 위하여 상용프로그램 ABAQUS와 연계된 유한요소해석 전처리 전용 그래픽 유저 인터페이스 프로그램을 구성하여 사용하였다. 또한, 금속재 탱크를 복합재 탱크로 대체하기 위한 초기 설계 과정을 정립하고 대체율을 정의하였으며, 주어진 요구조건에 따라 설계를 수행해 봄으로써 적합한 대체율 및 설계 모델을 제안하였다. In this study, the design method of filament wound composite pressure tanks was established by using finite element analyses. Pressure tanks were designed with and without a load sharing metallic liner. A GUI(graphic user interface) program was developed to increase the efficiency of analyses. The replacement ratio was defined in order to replace a metal pressure tank with a composite one. Finally, the best design model that is satisfied with design requirements was suggested.
