광곽향(Pogostemon cablin Benth.)으로부터 Patchouli alchol의 분리 및 함량분석

A method for isolation and quantitative determination of patchouli alcohol from Pogostemonis Herba (Pogostemon cablin) has been developed. Isolation of patchouli alcohol was achieved by column chromatography employing the normal-phase gradient separation system n-hexane-ether on silica gel column. The GC method for quantitative determination of patchouli alcohol provided a method for standardization of the raw drug. It suggested that the average content of patchouli alcohol in Pogostemonis Herba is about 0.26%.

임철우 초기 중․단편 소설 연구-역사적 폭력에 대한 트라우마적 기억을 중심으로-

본고는 임철우 초기 중․단편 소설에 나타난 역사적 폭력의 구조와 이 같은 폭력을 기억하는 사람들의 모습이 갖는 의미를 밝히고자 한다. 임철우는 6.25와 5.18의 폭력 구조에 대한 소설을 통해 사람들 사이에서 증오와 원한의 고리가 형성되는 메커니즘을 보여준다. 이때 메커니즘 속의 모든 이들은 사건을 만들어내고 만들어가는 책임자다. 이는 임철우가 파악한 역사적 폭력의 한 일반적 구조다. 다른 한편 그와 같은 사건을 트라우마적 차원에서 기억하는 사람들의 모습은 임철우의 초기 소설이 5.18과 같은 트라우마적 사건을 서사화하는 두 가지 방식을 품고 있었다는 것을 보여주게 된다. 먼저 임철우의 초기 소설에서 5월 광주를 기억하는 방식은 대개 과도한 죄책감과 관련된 병리적 차원으로써 이는 독자에게 모종의 불길함을 끝없이 안겨준다. 그러나 트라우마적 기억은 그 기억 속에 갇혀 실제 5.18의 진실에 관해 접근하지 못하게 하는 문제점을 노출하기도 한다. 따라서 임철우의 초기 소설은 트라우마적 사건의 병리화와 더불어 그 사건의 진실에 대한 의미론적 재현 작업을 요청한다. 즉 그는 이미 양자의 길항관계를 숙고하고 있었던 셈이다. The purpose of this study is to specify the structure of historic violence appearing in Lim Chul-woo’s early short and medium-length stories, and to determine the meaning of people’s memory of this violence. Through his stories about the structure of violence in 6.25 and 5.18, Lim Chul-woo would show the mechanism that forms hatred and grudge among people. Here, all the characters in this mechanism are responsible for committing related incidents. This is the general structure of historic violence grasped by Lim Chul-woo. On the other hand, those that remember the incidents from the traumatic aspect show that Lim Chul-woo would focus on two narrating styles of traumatic incidents such as 5.18. First, in his early stories, Lim Chul-woo shows 5.18 from the psychopathological aspect related to a sense of excessive guilt, which would give certain anxiety to readers continuously. However, traumatic memory has a demerit in that it could prevent the approach to the actual truth of 5.18. Thus, Lim Chul- woo’s early stories request semantics dimension work on not only the pathology of traumatic incidents but also the truth of those incidents. That is, he already deeply considered the antagonistic relationship of the two.

목향(Saussureae Radix)으로부터 Costunolide의 분리 및 함량분석

Isolation and quantitative determination of costunolide from Saussurea lappa Clarke (Compositae) has been conducted by using HPLC method. Costunolide in an acetone extract from the crude drug was separated on a RP-18 column using a $MeOH-H_20$ mixture (65:35) as an eluent and the average content is about $1.32{\sim1.42%.$ The content of costunolide in dried extract was decreased by about 24% in seven days. However it showed a slight decrease in solution. It is highly recommended that quantitative determination of costunolide from Saussureae Radix should be conducted as early as possible after solvent extraction.

Fourteen compounds were isolated from the 70% ethanol extract of Lonicera Caulis (Caprifoliaceae) and their structures were identified as seven aliphatic compounds [long-chain alcohols (1, 2), trilinolein (3), hexacosanol (4), fatty acids (6), 9,12,13-trihydroxyoctadeca-10(E),15(Z)-dienoic acid (10), and pinellic acid (11)] and seven phenolics [bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (dioctylphthalate, DOP) (5), coniferaldehyde (7), caffeic acid docosanoyl ester (8), caffeic acid (9), coniferyl aldehyde 4-O-glucoside (12), linarin (13), and coniferin (14)]. The chemical structures of these compounds were identified on the basis of spectroscopic methods and comparison with literature values. All the compounds except for caffeic acid ( 9) were isolated from this plant parts for the first time.

임철우의 「봄날」에 나타난 5・18 항쟁공동체의 형성/분열 원리 연구: 감정과 정동을 중심으로

In a great social phenomenon, emotions related to specific cognition are strongly revealed. For the power that creates a sense of solidarity in unity and sustains that is caused by emotions. So is 5.18. People involved in the democratic uprising made communal relationships in specific cognition/ emotions. Especially, emotions, like the anger, guilt, and sadness of citizens, made communality stronger in the happiness-oriented direction of each person. Their jumping into the democratic uprising was greatly influenced by affects, risking their lives for each other. Affects are the core principle that forms an ‘absolute community’ of which the identity cannot still clearly be revealed. The communal moment in which I and you were not separated was born in the process of the endless amplification of affects. Thus, the division of Gwangju after liberation can also be seen from the perspective of emotions and affects. The so-called fight-back group endeavored militant emotions/ affects by shouting that they must never let the blood shed by citizens go in vain or emphasizing the ceremonial nature of the assembly; however, they could not overcome the issues such as the preciousness of life, worries about family, fight without winning, and discord coming from class differences among citizens. They did not reach the threshold of the intensity of emotions/affects that made an absolute community possible. As the studies of the emotions/affects of 5.18 make us look at it afresh, emotional/affective studies will be another framework to understand other social catastrophes. 거대한 사회적 현상에는 반드시 특정한 인지와 연관된 감정이 강하게 드러난다. 사람들을 결속하여 연대감을 만들고 이를 지속하게 하는 힘은 감정에서 비롯되기 때문이다. 5・18도 마찬가지다. 항쟁에 참여한 사람들은 특정한 인지/감정 속에서 공동체적 연관을 맺었다. 특히 시민들의 분노, 죄책감, 슬픔 등의 감정은 각자의 행복주의적 방향 속에서 공동체성을 더 강하게 했다. 서로가 서로를 위해 자신의 목숨을 걸고 항쟁에 뛰어드는 모습은 정동의 영향이 컸다. 정동은 여전히 그 정체를 명확히 밝힐 수 없는 ‘절대공동체’를 형성하는 핵심 원리다. 나와 너가 분리되지 않았던 그 공동체적 순간은 정동을 끊임없이 증폭하는 과정 속에서 탄생했다. 따라서 해방 광주의 분열 역시 감정과 정동의 관점에서 바라볼 수 있다. 소위 항전파는 그동안 시민들이 흘린 피를 헛되이 할 수 없다고 외치거나 집회의 의례적 성격을 강조하여 투쟁적 감정/정동을 고취하려 애썼으나 생명의 소중함, 가족에 대한 걱정, 승산 없는 싸움, 시민들의 계급적 차이에서 오는 불화 등을 극복할 수 없었다. 그들은 절대공동체를 가능케 했던 감정/정동의 강도적 역치에 도달하지 못했다. 5・18의 감정/정동 연구가 5・18을 새롭게 보게 만들 듯 감정론적/정동론적 연구는 다른 사회적 참사를 이해하는 또 다른 틀이 될 것이다.

Six iridoids were isolated from the 70% ethanol extract of Lonicera Caulis (Caprifoliaceae) and their structures were identified as epialyxialactone (1), secologanin dimethyl acetal (2), sweroside (3), loganin (4), loganic acid (5) and demethylsecologanol (6). The chemical structures of these compounds were identified on the basis of spectroscopic methods and comparison with literature values. This is the first report of the iridolactone, epialyxialactone (1), from the Caprifoliaceae plants and loganic acid (5) and demethylsecologanol (6) from Lonicera Caulis.

From the 70% EtOH extract from the roots of Paeonia lactiflora (Paeoniaceae), nine triterpenoids were isolated and identified as ß-amyrin (1), 24-methylenecyc1oartanol (2), betulinic acid (3), oleanolic acid (4), hederagenin (5), 30-norhederagenin (6), 30-norarjunolic acid (7), arjunolic acid (8), and 3ß,4ß,23-trihηlydroxy-24,30-dinorolian-2,20(29)-oic acid (9) by spectroscopic methods. Among these compounds, 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 were is이ated for the frrst time from this plant.

Among these compounds, 1-3, 5, 6, 8 and 12 were is이ated for the frrst time from this plant.
