본 논문은 AC LED에 적합한 Digital Dimmer에 관한 연구 이다. PWM 방식을 이용하여 조광 범위를 0?100% 되게 하였을 뿐만 아니라 AC LED를 상용 전원에 연결하여 사용 시 발생하는 플리커 문제를 플리커 개선 알고리즘을 추가하여 해결 하였다.

Na_2S_2O_4 수용액과 CCl_4-toluene 용액의 2상에서 유기상에 용해하는 tricaprylmethylammonium chloride 상이동 촉매를 사용하여 methyl methacrylate의 라디칼 중합속도를 측정하여, 액-액 불균일계 접촉계면을 통한 라디칼 중합반응기구를 해석하였다. MMA의 중합속도는 수용액상에 존재하는 Q^+ 이온의 농도와 S_2O_4^(-2) 이온의 농도의 제곱근에 정비례하고 CCl_4와 MMA의 농도에 각각 정비례하였다. The phase-transfer polymerization of methyl methacrylate with tricaprylmethylammonium chloride-Na_2S_2O_4-CCl_4 initiator system was investigated in an aqueous-organic two-phase system. The observed rates of polymerization were compared with those obtained from the polymerization mechanism proposed with a cyclic phase-transfer initiation step. The rate of polymerization was found to be proportional to the concentration of Q^+ and square root of S_2O_4^(-2) in the aqueous solution and the feed quantity of CCl_4 and MMA.

교반기를 사용하여 n-butyl acetate의 알카리 가수분해반응의 액-액 불균일계에서 n-butyl acetate의 총괄물질전달속도를 측정하여 실험변수와의 관계를 고찰하고, 화학반응을 수반한 물질전달기구를 경막설에 적용하여 용질에 대한 확산방정식의 근사해로부터 구한 n-butyl acetate의 반응촉진계수의 이론값과 측정값을 비교하여 물질전달계수를 구하였다. 이로부터 분산용액의 액적 면적을 산출할 수 있었다. The rates of overall mass transfer of n-butyl acetate in the alkaline hydrolysis of n-butyl acetate were measured by using a mechanically agitated vessel in order to get the relationship between the mass transfer rates and experimental variables. The interfacial area between liquid-liquid heterogeneous phases could be obtained by comparing the theoretical values of reaction enhancement factor from an approximated solution of a diffusion equation based on the film theory with the experimental data.

Purpose: Monoclonal antibody Ki-67 has been employed to evaluate the growth fraction of various tumors. The purpose of this study is to determin the prognostic value of the Ki-67 index for colorectal cancer. Methods: The Ki-67 index was investigated by counting the immunohistochemically stained cells. We described this as the permillage. We reviewed the test results of 36 colorectal cancer patients and we compared the Ki-67 index with other clinical factors. Results: There was no correlation between the Ki-67 index and the other established risk factors, and only the number of invaded lymph nodes and their degree of differentiation were related with the Ki-67 index. Conclusion: The Ki-67 index is an important marker of the growth fraction of tumor. The pattern of tumor growth is determined not only by the growth fraction, so the discovery of other parameters that can reflect tumor growth and the Ki-67 index can help the patients with respect to their prognosis & treatment.

액-액계면을 통한 용질의 물질전달기구를 규명하기 위해서 말단효과를 보정한 젖은 벽탑을 사용하여 25℃에서 n-butanol, ethyl acetate 및 cyclohexanone이 물에 용해될 경우 분산상에서의 용질의 물질전달계수를 측정하여 이론치와 비교하있으며, I₂가 용해된 n-hexane 및 cyclohexane 용액과 Na₂SO₄ 수용액과의 접촉을 통하여 연속상에서의 I₂의 물질전달계수를 측정하여 이론치와 비교하였다. 액-액계면을 통한 용질의 물질전달기구를 침투설에 의하여 설명하였으며, 용질의 전달속도와 농도의 관계를 나타내는 대류-확산방정식의 수치처리 방법을 실험변수와 물질전달계수가 포함된 무차원군의 극한치들로부터 이루어진 Beek-Bakker 모델로 해석할 수 있었다. Film- and continuous-phase mass transfer in liquid-liquid system was studied using a cocurrent laminar wetted-wall column of a modified form, The film-phase mass transfer coefficients were measured by dissolution of n-butanol, ethyl acetate and cyclohexanone in water, and the continuous-phase mass transfer coefficients measured by the transfer of I₂ dissolved in continuous-phase of n-hexane and cyclohexane into the interface, where I₂ disappeared by the instantaneous irreversible reaction with Na₂S₂O₃ in the aqueous film-phase. These coefficients could be analyzed by the penetration theory and were in good agreement with Beek-Bakker model.

Secondary diabetes mellitus caused by increased growth hormone secretion (GH) has well been known. There is a close association between glucose intolerance and GH secretion, and increased GH level itself probably worsens the blood glucose control and lipid profile by increasing glycogenolysis and / or gluconeogenesis and by suppressing lipase activity. We report a case of acromegaly with diabetic ketoacidosis as and hypertriglyceridemia-induced acute pancreatitis. A 38 year old male, previously diagnosed to have acromegaly and diabetes, presented with nausea, vomiting, diffuse abdominal pain and altered mentality. There was no history of drug or alcohol consumption, blood gas analysis showed severe acidosis and urinanalysis for ketone was positive. His serum blood glucose, amylase and lipase levels were 494 ㎎/dL, 331 U/L, and 1288 U/L, respectively (reference values: 70∼110 ㎎/dL, 13∼100 U/L and 13∼190 U/L, respectively). The patient was diagnosed as having diabetic ketoacidosis and acute pancreatitis. With the serum concentration of triglyceride being 1488 ㎎/dL and the absence of any obvious precipitating factors, we considered hypertriglyceridemia to be the cause of acute pancreatitis. He was treated with continuous intravenous insulin infusion, lipid lowering agent, and fluid replacement. After conservative management, general condition gradually improved and his serum amylase, lipase and triglyceride levels were all normalized. GH level was not suppressed under 2 ng/mL during oral glucose loading test, and basal GH and IGF levels were 231 ng/mL and 29.5 ng/mL, respectively. Sella MRI showed a 3.7 ㎝ sized pituitary mass. On the 55th day of admission, transsphenoidal surgery was performed. In immunohistochemical staining, the pathologic tumor specimen was proved to be GH positive pituitary adenoma. This is the first case reported in the English literature of an acromegaly presenting with diabetic ketoacidosis and acute pancreatitis
