Changes in transmission and thermoluminescent characteristics were used in order to fmd out the optimum growth condition of CsI single crystal scintillators which were made relatively defect-free using Czochralski method. Impurity distribution in the crystals and the intensity and number of thermoluminescent glow peaks decreased as the process of crystallization was repeated. The direction of crystal growth turned out to be (110), the crystal structure of grown CsI was bcc, and its lattice constant was found to be 4.568,1. The activation energy (trap depths) of CsI:3rd was 0.45 eV and its frequency factor was 6.18X 10^5 sec^(-1).

A vehicle suspension control system is newly evaluated in terms of enhancing vehicle stability and handling with braking control system CDC system is used to distribute the damping forces bet wren front and rear axles .which has effect on the vehicle yaw rate with ESP(Electric Stability Program), CDC system mitigates the over-steer and the under-steer tendencies during quick transient maneuver while ESP plays a same role in the unstable area of vehicle.<br/> Both systems can share control information through CAN and cooperate to achieve improved performance. The basic principle of system operation is explained based on CDC system, ESP and the vehicle dynamics. The computer simulation and the vehicle test result are presented to show the effect of damper setting on the vehicle characteristics and demonstrate the benefit of the proposed yaw control algorithm.

최근 만성기 뇌졸중 환자에서 재활치료와 더불어 시행한 뇌피질 전기자극치료가 기능회복에 효과적이다는 몇몇의 보고가 있다. 특히 최근에는 기존의 경두개 자기자극치료 또는 경두개 직류전기 자극치료와 달리 경막외 뇌피질 직접 전기자극치료에 대한 연구가 보고되고 있으며, 이는 기존의 치료법에 비해 뇌자극 부위의 국소화와 더불어 전기자극 중 원하는 재활치료를 병행하기에 좋다는 편리성, 전기자극 프로그램의 다양성과 같은 장점이 있다. 그러나 아직까지 다양한 뇌병변에 따른 기능회복에 대한 전기자극의 파라미터가 확립되지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 뇌경색 동물모델에서 운동기능 회복에 효과적인 전기자극 파라미터를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 뇌경색의 병변 크기에 따라 효과적인 전기자극의 패턴이 다르게 나타님을 볼 수 있었다. 향후, 이에 대한 전임상연구와 임상연구가 활발히 이루어지길 기대한다.

N/A CsI(Br) single crystals doped with 1, 3, 5 or 10 mole % Br ions, as an activator, were grown by Czochralski method. The lattice structure of grown CsI(Br) single crystal was bcc and its lattice constant was 4.568 Å. The absorption edge of the CsI(Br) single crystals was observed at 243 nm. The spectral range of the luminescence excited by 243 nm of wavelength was 300 ∼ 600 nm, and its peak emission appeared at 440 nm. The luminescence intensity was maximum when CsI(Br) was doped with 3 mole % Br^- ions. The energy resolutions of the CsI(Br) scintillator doped with 3 mole % Br ions were 15.0 % for ^(137)Cs(662 keV), 13.1 % for ^(54)Mn(835 keV), and 18.0 % and 6.3 % for ^(22)Na(511 keV and 1275 keV), respectively. The decay curves had fast and slow components, and the fast component was about 41 ns independent on the concentration of the Br^- ions. The time resolution of CsI(Br) scintillators decreased with increasing of the concentration of Br^- ions.

혈관내재개통술은 말초혈관질환의 만성완 전폐쇄의 치료로 널리 사용되고 있다. 재진입기구의 성장은 이런 중재술을 더욱 용이하게 만들었다. 하지만 복잡한 혈관상태는 재진입술을 어렵게 한다. 이에 저자들은 왼쪽 얕은넙다리동맥의 만성완전폐쇄를 가진 85세 남환에서 내막하공간에서 다른 내막하공간으로 재진입기구를 삽입하여 풍선재진 입술을 성공적으로 시행한 증례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Endovascular revascularization is widely used in the treatment of chronic total occlusion of the peripheral artery disease. The development of re-entry devices has made this intervention easier. However, complicated vascular conditions make re-entry challenging. Here, we report a case of an 85-year-old man with complicated chronic total occlusion of the left superficial femoral artery successfully treated by using a re-entry device from a subintimal space to another subintimal space by balloon re-entry technique.

Fuel injection system is an important tool in the exhaust emission and perfonnance of a diesel engine. Effects of the fuel injection system in diesel combustion was investigated experimentally by measuring the performance and analyzing the combustion phenomena in a D.I. diesel engine. The selected injection parameters were nozzle hole diameter, nozzle opening pressure, nozzle projection length, and nozzle spray angle.<br/> From the measured results, it is shown that the fuel injection pipe diameter is an effective means to improve engine perfonnance in a middle and high speed range and the 2 stage spring nozzle holder has the advantage of increasing the engine perfonnance due to the initial injection pressure in a low speed range. It has been also shown that increasing nozzle opening pressure resulted in decrease in smoke, but increase in NOx from the engine.

Czochralski 방법을 사용하여 격자결함이 적은 CsI 단결정 섬광체를 육성하기 위한 최적육성조건을 구하기 위하여 광투과율의 변화와 열형광특성을 이용하였다. 결정화과정을 반복할수록 불필요한 불순물 분포와 열형광강도 및 glow 피이크의 수가 감소하였다. 결정성장방향은 (110)이었고, 육성한 CsI의 결정구조는 체심입방체이었다. 그리고 격자상수는 $4.568{\AA}$ 임을 확인할 수 있었다. CsI:3rd의 활성화 에너지(trap깊이)는 약 0.45 eV 이었고, 주파수인자는 $5.18{\times}10^5\;sec^{-1}$이었다. CsI(Li) single crystals doped with 0.02, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mole% lithium as an activator were grown by Czochralski method. The lattice structure of grown CsI(Li) single crystal was bcc, its lattice constant was 4.568 Å. The absorption edge of CsI(Li) single crystal was 245 nm, and the spectral range of luminescence was 300 ∼ 600 nm, its maximum luminescence intensity appeared at 425 nm. The energy resolutions of CsI(Li) single crystal doped with 0.2 mole% lithium were 14.5 % for ^(137)Cs(662 keV), 11.4 % for ^(54)Mn(835 keV) and 17.7 o and 7.9 o for ^(22)Na(511 keV and 1275 keV), respectively. The relation formula of y -ray energy versus energy resolution was In ( FWHM% ) = -0.893 lnE + 8.456 and energy calibration formula was logE_r=1.455los(ch.)-1.277. The phosphorescence decay time of CsI(Li) crystal doped with 0.2 mole% lithium was 0.51 s at room temperature, and its time resolution measured by CFT(constant-fraction timing method) was 9.0 ns.
