        밤꽃의 휘발성 화합물 특성

        밤꿀의 밀원이 되는 밤꽃에서 SDE 추출법과 GC-FID 및 GC/MS 분석방법으로 122종의 휘발성 성분을 분리ㆍ동정하였다. 밤꽃의 휘발성분 조성은 전체 향기성분 중 alcohol류가 36.58%로 가장 높은 함량을 보였으며, 그 다음으로 15종의 hydrocarbon류, 20종의 terpene류와 유도체, 7종의 ketone류, 24종의 aldehyde류, 12종의 ester류, 4종의 acid류, 3종의 furan류와 2종의 기타 화합물 순으로 구성되어 있음이 확인되었다. 밤꽃 휘발성분의 주성분은 전체 peak area의 18.6%을 구성하는 1-phenylethanol과 (E)-geraniol, tricosane, heneicosane, benzyl alcohol, acetophenone, 2-phenylethanol 등으로 방향족 alcohol과 홀수탄소로 구성된 포화탄화수소들이었다. 밤꽃 추출물의 휘발성분에는 밤꿀의 밀원을 판단할수 있게끔 하는 marker로써 사용가능성을 지닌 1-phenylethanol과 acetophenone이 주성분으로 구성되어 있으며, 밤 꽃의 특징적인 강한 동물취와 꽃향이 혼합된 형태의 향 특성은 nonanal 등에 기인한다고 판단되었다. Volatile flavor components in chestnut (Castanea crenata Sieb. et Zucc.) flower were collected by SDE method using the mixture of n-pentane and diethylether as an extract solvent and were identified by GC-FID and GC/MS. A total of 122 components including 35 alcohols, 5 hydrocarbons, 20 terpene and derivatives, 7 ketones, 24 aldehydes, 12 esters, 4 acids, 3 furans, and 2 miscellaneous were identified from total volatile extract of chestnut. Alcohols were comprise 36.58% of volatile extract and dominant constituents and the main components of flower volatiles were 1-phenylethanol (18.6%), (E)-geraniol, tricosane, heneicosane, benzyl alcohol, acetophenone and 2-phenylethanol as aromatic alcohols and odd carbon hydrocarbons. Especially 1-phenylethanol and acetophenone would be applicable to the markers to ascertain floral origin of chestnut honey. The powerful animal and floral notes of chestnut flower were characterized by compounds including nonanal.

        소리쟁이(Rumex crispus L.) 뿌리 추출물의 항산화 및 광피해 억제 효과

        The antioxidant and photoprotective effects of various extracts from the roots of Rumex crispus L. were evaluated. The concentrations (IC50) of various extracts required to exert a 50% reducing effect on a DPPH radical were found to be 0.005~0.093 mg/mL. The ethyl acetate extract showed a more remarkable effect than the positive control ascorbic acid. The concentrations (QC50) of the butanol and ethyl acetate extracts required to exert a 50% reducing effect on the singlet oxygen 1O2 were found to be 0.464 and 0.365 mg/mL, respectively. Both extracts were also found to protect the in vitro biological system from the detrimental effect of a singlet oxygen 1O2 on type II photosensitization in E. coli and genomic DNA. Among all the tested extracts, the ethyl acetate and butanol extracts contained higher amounts of total phenolic contents. The results suggest that our study may contribute to the development of new bioactive products with potential applications to the reduction of photo-produced oxidative stress involving reactive oxygen species in living organisms.

        생마늘과 동결건조마늘의 휘발성 유기성분 비교

        SDE추출방법과 GC/MS로 분석에 의하여 생마늘과 동결건조마늘의 휘발성 유기성분을 비교하였다. 생마늘과 동결건조마늘에서 각각 42종, 32종의 화합물이 확인되었으며, 대부분이 황화합물이었고 alcohol류, aldehyde류, ester류도 확인되었다. Diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, allyl methyl disulfide, allyl methyl trisulfide는 생마늘과 동결건조마늘에서 확인된 주요 황화합물이었다. 3-Methyl pyridine, 2-methyl-4-pentenal, 2,3,3-trimethyl-1,4-pentadiene, methional 등 생마늘에서 확인된 화합물은 동결건조마늘에서 소실되었고 propanethiol, 2-ethyl-3-butenal, acetic acid 등은 동결건조마늘에서 확인되었으며, 전체적인 휘발성 유기성분의 총량에는 영향을 미치지 않는 수준이었다. 동결건조에 의하여 마늘의 주요 휘발성 유기성분 중 diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, allyl methyl disulfide, allyl methyl trisulfide, diallyl sulfide, 3-vinyl-4H-1,2-dithiin 등 대부분의 황화합물 함량이 감소하였으며 methyl propyl trisulfide, 3-allylthiopropionic acid, cyclopentyl ethyl sulfide 등은 증가하였다. 그 외 ethyl acetate, ethanol, 2-propenol, 2-propenal, hexanal 등의 휘발성 유기성분이 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. The study was carried out to find the effect of freeze drying on the volatile organic components in garlic (Allium sativum L.). The volatile organic compounds from fresh and freeze dried garlic were extracted by simultaneous steam distillation and extraction (SDE) method and identified with GC/MS analysis. A total of 42 and 32 compounds were identified in fresh and freeze-dried garlic, respectively. Sulfur containing compounds in the garlic samples were detected as the major compounds, and alcohols, aldehydes and esters were detected as minor compounds. Diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, allyl methyl disulfide and allyl methyl trisulfide were the main sulfur compounds in fresh and freeze dried garlic. The amount of sulfur containing compounds were decreased freeze-drying but methyl propyl trisulide, 3-allylthiopropionic acid, cyclopentyl ethyl sulfide etc. were increased. The others, non-sulfur containing compounds such as ethyl acetate, ethanol, 2-propenol, 2-propenal and hexanal were increased in freeze-dried garlic. Consequently, the total amount of volatile organic compounds in garlic became lower during freeze-drying from 853.42 ㎎/㎏ to 802.21 /㎏, and the composition of major components were nearly same in fresh and freeze-dried garlic.

        마을만들기 사업특성이 사업성과에 미치는 영향

        This study is to verify the impact on the project characteristics and performance and that citizen participation has mediating effect between the project characteristics and performance. The target of the study is making Gimpo town project area(Seongdong-ri and Yonggang-ri). Research method was utilized a structured questionnaire. In addition, frequency analysis, cross analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and conducted a Sobel test. Results, first, administrative characteristics, social characteristics, physical characteristics town had a positive effect on business performance. Second, the administrative and social characteristics had a statistically significant effect on the relationship between citizen participation. Third, public participation was a statistically significant relationship to business performance. Fourth, public participation is between administrative and social characteristics and business performance characteristics had a mediating effect. As a result of this study were the following policy suggestions. First, the participation and cooperation of local residents, it is important to being a successful business town. Second, in order to involve local residents in the project, this project information disclosure should be institutionalized. Third, public hearings, etc. should give residents enough time to express their opinions. Fourth, the town residents or resident associations led a whole system planners is required. Finally, The residents are also required to directly participate residents contest.

        황색계 천연색소 추출물이 함유된 보습크림의 피부개선 효과

        이 연구의 목적은 5종의 식물추출물을 함유하는 보습력이 우수한 보습크림을 개발하여 피부개선 효능을 평가하는 것으로, 비단풀, 황백, 홍화, 치자, 오배자의 복합추출물을 함유하는 보습크림과 이를 포함하지 않는 보습크림 간의 임상연구를 수행하였다. 21명의 피험자에 대해 효과분석이 이루어졌으며, 각각의 분석은 3회 반복 하여 검증하였다. 식물유래 복합추출물이 함유된 보습크림(A)과 함유되지 않은 크림(B)과의 수분함량 비교분석에서 A 크림이 B 크림에 비해 50% 이상 높은 수준의 보습력을 지니고 있으며, 피부 경피수분손실량 및 홍반반응 분석에서도 A 크림이 B 크림에 비해 유의성 있는 개선효과를 나타내었다. 결론적으로 식물복합추출물이 함유된 크림은 인체 피부자극 유도 후의 피부자극 완화 효과 평가를 통해 피부자극 완화 및 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단되고, 관련 산업분야의 다양한 응용성을 가질 것으로 판단된다. This study was to evaluate the effect of the moisturizing cream containing five kinds of plants extracts for human facial improvements such as hydrating ability, transepidermal water loss and erythema reaction. The antioxidant activities of yellowish natural colorants, extracted from five kinds of plants (Ceramium kondoi, Phellodendron amurense, Carthamus tinctorius, Gardenia jasminoides for. grandiflora and Aphis chinensis) were tested. Twenty-one volunteers were subjected to analyze the effects, and each result was determined by treating the complex cream containing plants extracts on their skin in three times. The moisture content on skin was significantly increased more than 50% by treating the cream containing five kinds of plants extracts. The transepidermal water loss was reduced and the level of the skin erythema reaction was improved after treatment of the complex cream. Survey analysis showed that the volunteers had highly satisfaction on the tested creams. The results suggest that the complex cream containing five plants extracts had an improved effect on facial skin, and therefore can be used as moisturizing ingredients in the related industry.

        Thoroughbred 경주마의 경주능력에 대한 환경요인의 효과 및 유전분산 (遺傳分散) 추정

        This study was undertaken using a total of 2,577 racing records of horses from September, 1989 to July, 1990 that collected at the K. H. A. A. (Korean Horse Affairs Association) to investigate effects of environmental factors and to estimate genetic variance for racing performance. Results obtained from this study were as follows. Horse`s age, racing number, track condition and racing season showed significant effects on racing time, and winner`s racing time was not appropriate environmental factor for mean racing time in Korea. Racing performance was the best when horse`s age was 3-4yr, racing number was l situated inside, moisture content was more than 16% in track and racing seasons were spring and winter. Estimates of σ²_e by Maximum Likelihood were smaller than those by Minimum Variance Quadratic Unbiased Estimation (MIVQUE). Adjustment for winner`s racing time reduced estimates of σ²_s, σ²_h, and σ²_e, especially, estimates of σ²_h, which were reduced by an average of about 1000% and estimates of repeatabilities were lower than those of heritabilities. Estimates of heritabilities and repeatabilities by nationality ranged from .13±.17 to .30±.20 and from .36±.07 to .52±.14, respectively. Pooled estimates of heritabilities and repeatabilities were .19±.13 and .42± .06 respectively.

        Chemical heat pump is one of the energy conversion technologies, which enables to use waste heat as a source of high grade heat. In 2-propanol/acetone system, the dehydrogenation of 2-propanol is an endothermic(heat absorption) reaction, and can be used to generate hydrogen because 2-propanol can be converted to acetone and hydrogen at low temperature(about 8℃) using catalyst. For the dehydrogenation of 2-propanol 5% Ru catalyst based on activated carbon is the best one at the reaction temparature of 83℃.

        Cu/ZnO/Cr2O₃/Al₂O₃ 촉매를 이용한 이산화탄소의 수소화 연구

        The aim of this study is the development of technologies of methanol production from carbon dioxide by catalytic hydrogenation. Experiments about carbon dioxide hydrogenation by catalyst mixed with CuO, ZnO, Cr₂O₃ and Al₂O₃ were conducted to find optimum catalyst and reaction condition. Reactions were carried out at atmospheric and high pressures between 200 to 350℃. High yield of methanol was obtained with Cu/ZnO/Cr₂O₃/Al₂O₃ catalyst at 250℃ and above 30 atmospheric pressure. There was not any increament of hydrogenation reactivity for the catalysts which was made by the addition of Pd to Cu/ZnO/Cr₂O₃/Al₂O₃.
