Delusion existed from the prehistoric age and the concept of delusion has changed according to times and culture. Delusion is relatively easy to diagnose but difficult to understand. We reviewed the concept of delusion from prehistoric age to 20th century including Greek period, Roman period, the middle ages, and the modern period. In Greek and Roman period, Hippocrates made his case that mental disorder was disease of brain against those days belief that it was the Heaven`s justice and Asklepiades drew a line between delusion and hallucination from one concept of phantasia. Go through the Dark ages, even though age of reason, we still lived under the philosophy of religion, but there was the opinion that mental disorder was disease of brain and to be insane was to have delusion and vice versa. The concept of delusion of the 18th century based on speculative neurobiology progressed to the 19th century model; to be insane was to have delusions which was called the intellectualist view of insanity and delusions resulted from failures in the apparatus that served to acquire experiences. The view that delusions are ``wrong beliefs``, was first formulated during the 19th century. By the end of the 19th century, the concept of as a morbid belief had become well established. In the 20th century, there were Karl Jaspers, Kurt Schneider of Heidelberg school. We hope that this review help understand the concept of delusion more easily.

Since the urban environmental colors as a starting point of the research on environmental colors of the building depend on the environmental characteristics of the complex and various physical and social culture to improve the visual order of the urban landscape and don't establish its system and order, the importance of the visual effects of urban environment has been suggested through the experimental and theoretical research. It is to want to abstract the factor of surface pattern from the side of two dimentional physical factor and perceptual of architecture surface construction by concreting calssifing the criterion of analysis in to rank phase, perceptual concept, finding out basic composition factor of shape and opening architecture surface construction of design. To suggest the material of mere practical color design, this study examines the research of exterial colors of the building on the street, prescribes the characteristics of the building with other environmental factors which compose the colors and aims at suggesting the actual color design materials making the trend of colors the object of the research.

With the concurrent development of DNA microarray technologies and the complete sequencing of number genomes, we now have greater opportunities to comprehensively and efficiently understand the transcriptional profiles. A variety of statistical approaches are now available for cluster analysis but still they provide no information regarding the biological similarities of genes within clusters.

Objectives : Psychiatric patients report higher rates of interpersonal trauma, and they present with more symptoms and behavioral problems. However, less is known about other anxiety disorders, except for posttraumatic stress disorder. In this study, we investigated symptomatic correlates of interpersonal trauma (i.e., physical or sexual assaults) in patients with heterogeneous anxiety disorders. Methods : We surveyed a consecutive sample of 90 outpatients with DSM-IV anxiety disorders (panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social phobia, anxiety disorder not otherwise specified) at the psychiatric department of a university-affiliated hospital. The questionnaire was comprised of the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R), Beck Depression Inventory, State and Trait Anxiety Inventory, and Impact of Events Scale-Revised. Results : Patients with interpersonal trauma (n=51) demonstrated a significantly higher level of interpersonal sensitivity, paranoid ideation, and obsessive-compulsive subscale of the SCL-90-R. However, logistic regression analysis suggested that interpersonal sensitivity alone was suggested as the best fitting model. Conclusion : Anxiety disorder patients with interpersonal trauma demonstrated difficulty in domains of interpersonal relationship. Clinicians treating this population should consider this finding for better engagement and management.

Clozapine is an atypical antipsychotic agent that is more effective than the typical neuroleptics in the treatment of refractory schizophrenia. However, clozapine is also a drug associated with potentially serious adverse effects, such as cardiac complications as well as agranulocytosis. Clozapine-related agranulocytosis has been reported in Korea, whereas clozapine-related cardiac complications have not. We report a 31-year-old male schizophrenia treated with clozapine who developed a dilated Cardio-myopathy. We also reviewed literatures on dilated cardiomyopathy associated with clozapine treatment. This report is an attempt to raise the awareness of clozapine-related cardiac complications.
