The helicopter rotor system generates lift, thrust, maneuvering force and moment to the helicopter with the torque and pitch control force transferred from the main rotor hub/control. And the tail rotor system generates the thrust for yaw axis control of the helicopter with the torque and pitch control force transferred from the tail rotor hub/control. Ground whirl test shall be performed to verify the compliance of requirement performance test and dynamic test of rotor blade and hub/control. This paper describes a design of whirl tower test facility for helicopter rotor system test and evaluation. Design results are summarized and compared with design requirements.

After The Limits to Growth, System Dynamics studies, alike C-Roads, have been following a strong tradition of the prediction which was considered as a function of System Dynamics. And until now, this has been focused mainly on Stock-Flow Diagram. However, this study suggests a new way of the future prediction through the future analysis based on Causal Loop Diagram, as following the System Dynamics philosophy. This future analysis is different with Future Study. In this paper we discuss the concept of causality, time, future prediction, which are the philosophycal ground for future analysis with Causal Loop Diagram. Moreover, this study suggests an expanded way to describe the predicted future with a combined methodology of Casual Loop Diagram and the scenario method. Using this way, without computational simulation, the future analysis could address the predicted future within the system dynamics philosophy.
윤리경영 인과지도를 바탕으로 분석한 한국의 카드사 고객정보 유출 사건: 시스템다이내믹스를 활용한 원인 탐구와 해결책 모색

Whenever Information leak case had been happened, even though IT Infra systems were reinforced, those cases of kind were not decreased. It meant that the causes are not only the fault of IT, but also other things. So that the information leak cases should have been studied by the interdisciplinary way. There was a point of view for the Business Ethics which needed to be studied in the interdisciplinary way. Financial Information Leak Case of three representative Card Companies in Korea which is happened in 2014 was a case which was composed by many problems. These were bad circumstances, half-educated, lower salary, and the most of all, the C-Levels’ ignorance of the law. By studying the CLD: Causal Loop Diagram of Business Ethics and those mentioned factors, few meanings were discovered. Firstly, this case was not aaccident, but a predeterminate issue at all, because of the structural unethical corruption. Secondly, main reason of this case was not only criminals who leaked information, but also managers, especially CEO who didn’t obey the law, forced that to employees. Thirdly, although those companies had moral guide and did CSR activities, it was not help to protect this information leak case. This study shows that the important thing was not the action for showing, but effective action to management for sustainability.
Tesseract와 Tacotron2 모델을 이용한 TTS 시스템

본 논문에서는 시각장애인들의 책과 인쇄물 등과 같이 읽기 불가능한 매체에 대한 접근성 향상을 위해 TTS(Text-to-Speech) 시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현한다. 제안된 TTS 시스템은 이미지 인식, OCR(optical character reader)을 활용한 텍스트 추출, Tacotron2 음성 합성 모델기반 Text-to-Speech 변환, 보코더를 이용한 음성 출력 단계로 이루어진다. OCR 과정 시 글꼴 학습과 이미지 전처리를 통해 한국어 인식률을 크게 개선하였으며, 기존 Tacotron2 모델의 음성 출력 보코더인 Griffin-Lim이 아닌 VOCGAN을 활용함으로써 음성 출력 정확도를 향상시켰다. 제안된 시스템은 딥러닝을 기반으로 KSS(Korea Single Speech) 데이터셋을 이용하여 Tacotron2 모델과 VOCGAN을 전이학습(Transfer learning)을 이용해 학습시키고, 남성 아나운서의 목소리 데이터를 추가로 학습시킴으로써 사용자가 듣기 편한 음성을 제공한다.
헬리콥터 개념설계에 사용하는 경험적파라메터의 체계적인 결정기법

헬기개념설계단계에서는 많은 수의 반복계산과 Trade-Off Study가 필요하기 때문에 상대적으로 단순한 해석기법을 이용하는 것이 보통이다. 이때 해석코드에 사용되는 경험적 파라메터는 주로 사용자의 경험에 의지하는 경우가 많은데, 이러한 경험적요소가 개념설계결과의 신뢰도와 정확성에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서, 이러한 헬기개념설계도구에 사용되는 경험적파라메터를 보다 정확하고 논리적으로 산출하기 위한 새로운 기법이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 요구에 따라 산출된 경험적파라메터를 검증할 뿐만 아니라, 오류가 있을 경우 재산출하는 기법을 제안하였다. 현재 운용중인 특정헬기의 성능 및 유상하중을 설계헬기의 성능 및 중량추정의 목표값으로 설정한 후 최대이륙중량을 기준으로 참조헬기를 선정하고 참조헬기의 경험적파라메터를 헬기개념설계도구에 대입하여 설계해본 결과 오차범위 ±5% 이내로 목표 값과 일치함을 보였다. 본 연구에서 정립한 경험적파라메터 결정 기법이 개념설계 단계에서 효율적으로 활용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. At the stage of conceptual design of a helicopter, it is a general way using low fidelity analysis methods because of a large number of design calculations and trade-off studies. Determination of empirical parameters used in analysis codes for more practical design, depends on an user’s design experiences, which effects on the accuracy and the fidelity of conceptual design results. Thus, more precise and logical method should be required to determine the empirical parameters used in the conceptual design of a helicopter. The present method is to be used not only in verifying the empirical parameters generated by design requirements, but also regenerate them if they contain any errors. Empirical parameters produced by present method were used to design a helicopter with a payload objective and performance constraints of an operating helicopter. As a result, weights and geometries of designed helicopter matched the target value within 5% significance level, proving that the suggested parameter generating method can be useful in the conceptual design of a helicopter.
직접분사식 가솔린엔진에서 Cooled HP-EGR 시스템 적용에 따른 북미 시험모드 별 차량 연비개선 포텐셜에 관한 연구

This paper focuses on the vehicle test result of the US fuel economy test cycles such as FTP75, HWY and US06 with Cooled HP-EGR system on gasoline direct injection(GDI) engine. In general, with EGR system, the mixing exhaust gas with clean air reduces the oxygen concentration in the cylinder charge and increase the heat capacity of the charge mixture. As a result, the combustion temperature drops which is known to improve knocking limit and fuel economy. In this study, 2.4 liters GDI production vehicle was reworked with electrical controlled EGR valve and high efficiency EGR cooler used in diesel serial production. The control algorithm of Cooled HP-EGR system was realized by model based development using SDA-iRPT(internal rapid prototyping) tool from Continental Automotive System. In experiment result, we confirmed that the spark timing was more advanced without knocking and manifold pressure was increased in all cases with EGR system. Furthermore, a positive potential of fuel economy improvement on FTP mode, US06 mode have been shown with EGR system but not for HWY mode where the engine load is quite low and the spark advance is already optimized. Consequently, the fuel economy was increased by maximum 3.3% on FTP mode, 2.7% on US06 mode and decreased by 0.3% on HWY mode respectively with EGR system.
