Insights into the formation and the structure of colloidal aggregates are essential in many fields of science and engineering. Especially, controllability of aggregate structure with adjusting the experimental conditions is very important in fabricating nanoparticle catalysts which can be applied to energy systems like nanofluids, fuel cell and solar cell. In this work, 3D off lattice Monte Carlo simulation was implemented to irreversible cluster-cluster aggregations in the diluted system for different sticking probabilities which determine aggregation kinetics and structure. Firstly, DLCA regime (P<SUB>ij</SUB>=1) and RLCA regime (P<SUB>ij</SUB>=0.05) were simulated to validate the code, and the fractal dimensions for two regimes were obtained 1.8 and 2.1 respectively, which are in good agreement to the previous researches. The structure and kinetics of the aggregates were studied for different sticking probabilities.
증례 : 순환기; 흉선종이 동반된 중증 근육무력증 환자에서 발생한 완전 방실 전도 차단

중증 근육무력증은 그 기전은 명확하지 않으나 드물게는 심장을 침범하여 심근염, 심부전증, 부정맥 등 다양한 임상양상을 나타낼 수 있다. 이 중 전도장애도 나타날 수 있는데, 완전 방실전도차단은 매우 드문 현상이다. 저자들은 안검하수 및 어지러움을 주소로 내원한 69세 남자 환자에서 흉선종을 동반한 중증 근육무력증과 완전 방실전도차단을 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder characterized by antibodies against acetylcholine receptors in skeletal muscle. Myocardial involvement can present as myocarditis, ventricular tachycardia, heart failure and sudden death. However, advanced heart block is a very rare symptom. We report the case of a 69-year-old male who experienced dizziness and ptosis for one-month prior. He was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and thymoma accompanied by complete atrioventricular block. The dizziness disappeared after implantation of a permanent pacemaker and the advanced heart block was resolved after surgical removal of the thymoma. (Korean J Med 2013;85:619-622)
자장여과아크소스의 자장필터 꺾임 각도와 아크방전전류에따라 증착된 ta-C 코팅의 마모 거동 연구

The structure and properties of tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coatings depend on the main process parameters and bending angles of the magnetic field filter used in the filtered cathodic vacuum arc (FCVA). During the process, it is possible to effectively control the plasma flux of carbon ions incident on the substrate by controlling the arc discharge current, thereby influencing the mechanical properties of the coating film. Furthermore, we can control the size and amount of large particles mixed during carbon film formation while conforming with the bending angle of the mechanical filter mounted on the FCVA; therefore, it also influences the mechanical properties. In this study, we consider tribological characteristics for filtered bending angles of 45° and 90° as a function of arc discharge currents of 60 and 100 A, respectively. Experiment results indicate that the frictional behavior of the ta-C coating film is independent of the bending angle of the filter. However, its sliding wear behavior significantly changes according to the bending angle of the FCVA filter, unlike the effect of the discharge current. Further, upon changing the bending angle from 45° to 90°, abrasive wear gets accelerated, thereby changing the size and mixing amount of macro particles inside the coating film.
