부신생물 변연계뇌염(paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis)은 신경계의 전이가 없이 종양의 원격 작용에 의해 발생하는 질환으로 소아에서는 드물게 보고되고 있다. 저자들은 사춘기 여아에서 발생한 성숙 난소기형종에 동반된 부신생물 변연뇌염을 경험하고 보고하고자 한다. 15세 여자 환자가 신경정신증상, 기억력 저하, 경련, 의식 저하를 주소로 내원하였다. 뇌척수액 검사, 뇌 MRI는 정상이었으나, 뇌 SPECT 검사에서 양측 측두엽의 저관류가 관찰되었다. 복부 초음파와 MRI에서 좌측 난소의 낭성 종양이 발견되었다. 종양의 수술적 제거 후 성숙 난소기형종으로 확인되었으며, 종양 제거 및 면역글로불린 정맥 투여로 완전한 인지 기능의 회복을 보였다. Paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis, a remote effect of cancer without nervous system metastasis, is rare, especially in childhood. Here, we report a case of paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis associated with an ovarian mature teratoma in an adolescent girl. The 15-year-old girl developed neuropsychiatric symptoms, memory loss, seizures, and unconsciousness. Cerebrospinal fluid analysis and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings were normal, while single photon emission computed tomography imaging showed hypoperfusion in both temporal lobes. Ultrasound and MRI of the abdomen revealed a left ovarian cystic mass. The patient experienced a significant recovery of cognitive function after surgical resection of the tumor, which was pathologically identified as a mature ovarian teratoma, and treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin.
알코올성 유기용매 재활용을 위한 나노여과막의 제조와 특성평가

알코올성 용제를 재활용할 수 있는 목적의 유기용제나노여과막(OSN)을 내용제성이 우수한 폴리벤지다졸 고분자를 이용하여 비용매 유도 상분리법을 이용하여 제조하였다. 제조한 나노여과막의 모폴로지와 투과특성을 조절하기 위하여 도프 용액의 농도와 물과 에탄올의 혼합용액인 응고액의 조성을 변화시키면서 제조하였다. α,α'-dibromo-p-xylene (DBX)을 이용하여 가교한 폴리벤지미다졸 분리막은 유기용제나노여과막으로 사용하기에 충분한 기계적 강도와 내용제성을 갖는 것을 확인하였다. 물로만 이루어진 응고조에서 도프용액의 농도가 20%이상인 분리막을 제조하는 경우에 분자량 696.66 g/mol을 가지는 콩고레드에 대한 제거율은 90% 이상을 나타내었고, 투과도는 5 bar의 압력에서 22.5 LMH/bar를 나타내었다. 응고액 조성에 대한 연구를 통해서 응고액 중의 에탄올 농도가 증가할수록 에탄올의 투과도가 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. The organic solvent robust polybenzimidazole (PBI) membranes were prepared as organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) membrane for the recycling of alcoholic solvents using non-solvent induced phase separation with different dope solution concentration and coagulant composition of water/ethanol mixtures to control the membrane morphology and permeation performance. Investigation on crosslinking of polybenzimidazole indicated that the membrane crosslinked with dibromoxylene (DBX) had enough mechanical strength and solvent resistance to be applied as a OSN membranes. The crosslinked PBI membrane prepared by more than 20wt% dope concentration coagulated in water showed a rejection of > 90% to Congo Red (MW of 696.66 g/mol) while pure ethanol permeances was more than 22.5 LMH/bar at 5 bar. Investigation on coagulant composition indicated that ethanol permeance through crosslinked PBI OSN membrane increased with increasing of ethanol concentration in water/ethanol mixture coagulants.

In this study, a reliability-based economical evaluation procedure for determining evaluation criteria of piled bridge abutment subjected to lateral movements is proposed. The proposed method intelligently integrates the concepts of Kanda method and Frangopol method. The uncertainties for lateral movement evaluation criteria associated with load conditions, material and section properties of a pile and soil properties are explicitly considered. The result shows that this proposed method can be effectively applied to deciding the reliability analysis and economic analysis evaluation.

In this study a reliability-based design procedure for determining evaluation criteria of piled bridge abutment subjected to lateral movements is proposed. PEM(point estimation method) for the reliability analysis of lateral movements evaluation has been described and a computer program has been presented for use with the PEM.. PEM does not require the evaluation of derivatives of the evaluation equation as do the FOSM(first order second moment) and AFOSM(advanced FOSM) Methods. Examples of reliability calculation of lateral movements evaluation using PEM have been described and compared with the MFOSM(mean first order second moment) methods.

In this study, a new method for the infrastructures maintenance is proposed to overcome the limit of the existing methods and to implement the preventive infrastructures reliability-based maintenance strategy and asset management system. The proposed method can establish the reliability-based maintenance strategy and asset management system of the deteriorating infrastructures considering the life-cycle condition and performance as well as LCC(life-cycle cost). The life-cycle cost is evaluated by considering not only the direct maintenance cost but also the user and failure cost. By using the developed program, this study proposed a process of maintenance scenario applying to be the bridge decks of national road, and the study examined the proposed method by establishing a reliability-based maintenance strategy and asset management system for the existing structure and its advantages. The result shows that the proposal method can be effectively applied to deciding the infrastructures reliability-based maintenance strategy and asset management system.

In this study, a harbor maintenance system is developed to safety performance-based optimum maintenance strategy by considering the structural safety. A fuzzy fault tree problem is formulated to generate a maintenance scenarios which satisfies the balance among the conflicting objectives is applied to the performance and safety during the harbor lifetime and a fault tree analysis algorithm is applied to the system. By using the developed problem, this study proposes a process of optimum maintenance scenario applying to the harbor structures. The developed system improves the current methods of establishing the harbor maintenance strategy and can be utilized as an efficient tool to provide the harbor maintenance scenario corresponding to the various constraints and requirements of harbor agency.
