      • A Study for 3D Game Process Production Using Virtools

        애니메이션의 분야가 급속히 발달한 요즘 3D 응용 프로그램에 숙련된 애니메이터들을 끊임없이 기대하고 있다. 10년 전만 해도 애니메이션 산업은 블록버스터 영화 분야에서만 가끔 성공을 거두는 것을 볼 수 있었지만 요즘 우리는 애니메이션을 의료용부터 건축용, 영화, 그리고 게임까지 어디서나 볼 수 있다. 3D 게임은 애니메이션 산업의 중심부가 되었지만 제작을 위해서는 프로그래밍 분야를 포함하여 아직 많은 노력이 요구된다. 특히, 3D 게임을 제작하기 위해서는 프로그래머가 그래픽 디자이너보다 더 많은 부분을 담당하는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 디자이너들이 프로그래밍에 익숙하지 않은 사람이라도 Virtools을 이용하여 손쉽게 3D 게임 애니메이션을 제작하는 과정을 소개하고자 한다. The rapidly expanding field of animation is constantly looking for skilled animators in both 2D and 3D applications. The animation industry, as little as 10 years ago, was limited to the occasional blockbuster release. Today, we find animation everywhere, from medical applications to architecture to feature films and gaming, Especially, 3D games have become a way of life, but it still requires a lot of effort, on the programming side, to get it looking respectable. Programmers take a much more charge of part than designersin the real life game production. In this paper, I would analyze how to easily create 3D game animation using Virtools even if you are a non-programmer.

        환경조절에 의한 돌돔 Oplegnathus fasciatus 성 성숙 유도

        Artificial gonadal maturation and spawning inducement of striped knife-jaw Oplegnathus fasciatus were studied. Effects of water temperature and photoperiod under different regims on gonadal activity and maturation of three years old O. fasciatus were investigated histologically. In experiment I(Exp. I), water temperature was gradually increased from 14.5℃ to 21.0℃ and photoperiod was also gradually increased from 10 : 30 L to 15 : 30 L from December 1996 to February 1997 and this conditions were maintained till April. In experiment II(Exp. II), water temperature was increased in the same way from Exp. I and photoperiod was controlled as natural condition till early March and then increased to 15 : 30 L immediately. Control fish were reared in net-cage culture system in the sea from December 1996 to April 1997. Gonadal activity was initiated by increasing water temperature in both Exp. I and II from January. In Exp. I, gonadal maturation and spawning were induced from February when water temperature and photoperiod reached at 21.0℃ and 15 : 30 L, respectively. In Exp. II, complete gonadal maturation was not induced until early March but after treated by compensatory long photoperiod(15 : 30 L), the gonad was matured and subsequently spawning occurred.

        Background: Adult growth hormone (GH) deficiency is related with decreased lean body mass, increased body fat, and poor quality of life. In western countries, adult GH deficiency treatment registriesy provide a database of the effects and safety of GH deficiency treatment. The Korean Adult Growth Hormone Study Group of the Korean Society of Endocrinology register adult GH deficiency since 1996. Methods: Subjects were aged over 15 years, had organic hypothalamo-pituitary disease, and GH deficiency as documented by GH stimulation test or serum insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) level. The underlying etiology for GH deficiency, serum IGF-I level, starting and maintenance dose, and adult GH deficiency assessment (AGHDA) score were investigated. Results: From January 1996 to May 2001. 115 patients were enrolled. Mean age was 43.7±13.8 years and 60% were female. Thirteen medical institutions were involved in the registry. The most common underlying diseases were Sheehan's syndrome and pituitary adenomas. GH starting dose was from 0.4 to 1.0 units. Maintenance dose was between 0.5 and 1.2 units. Serum IGF-I levels were increased after GH treatment (0-week, 93.7±69.7 ng/mL; 2-weeks, 184.9±89.0 ng/mL; 6-weeks, 188.4±94.8 ng/mL; 10-weeks, 207.6±111.1 ng/mL; 6 months, 281.9±95.5 ng/mL). AGHDA scores slightly improved from 10.25±6.70 to 8.58±5.47 after 6 months of GH deficiency treatment. Conclusion: The GH Treatment Registry will be beneficial in monitoring the effects of GH deficiency treatment on Korean adult GH deficient subjects

        담낭절제술 후 발현된 간, 신장 및 복막을 침범한 유전분증 1예

        저자 등은 최근 담낭절제술을 시행받은 후에 발생된 간기능 이상과 조절되지 않는 복수를 주소로 내원한 환자에서 진단된 유전분증 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Amyloidosis is a heterogenous group of often fatal disorders characterized by extracellular deposition of a proteinaceous material with a unique fibrillar form in various tissues and organs. Deposition of amyloid may cause widespread dysfunction of the involved organs. Recently, we experienced a case of 40-year-old male patient with nephrotic syndrome, uncontrolled ascites and jaundice, which developed after cholecystectomy. We confirmed systemic amyloidosis involving kidney, liver and peritoneum by kidney and liver and peritoneum biopsy. The case that, having about a month of incubation period after cholecystectomy, amyloidosis occurred in a healthy man before the operation, and that amyloid was deposited in the peritoneum site incised during the operation provides grounds that amyloidosis may be triggered by cholecystectomy. Given the rarity of this case, the following is a report of this case and a review of the relevant literatures.

        도로 안전성 확보를 위한 안개 제거 기술에 대한 실험적 연구

        Fog is a phenomenon caused by condensation of water vapor in the atmosphere, which is when very fine drops of water float in the atmosphere and the distance of visible is less than 1km. Fog dispersion technology is a technology that removing or weakening fog by using artificial methods to reduce damage caused by fog. It is applied differently depending on the temperature of fog generation rather than the cause of fog. This study conducted an experimental study on the fog dispersion mechanism in order to minimize damage caused by fog on the road, and studied two methods of over-cooling dispersion using solid-carbon-dioxide as a dissipated particle and dissipating fog particles through thermal acoustic waves. As a result the two methods proved experimentally that were capable of dissipating fog.

        노래미 , Hexagrammos agrammus(Temminck et Schlegel)의 성성숙과 산란

        1991년 7월부터 1992년 7월까지 부산시 해운대 동백섬 조간대에서 채집된 노래미, Hexagrammos agrammus를 대상으로 성성숙에 관련된 제반 형질을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 생식소숙도지수(GSI)는 추계인 9월부터 증가하여 11월에 년중 최고값인 암 4.31 수 1.61을 각각 나타내었으며 12월부터 감소하여 춘하계 동안 낮은값을 유지하였다. 2. 간숙도지수(HSI)는 수컷의 경우 뚜렷하지는 않으나, 암컷은 생식소속도지수와 동일하게 변화하여 생식소가 활성화되는 9월부터 증가하기 시작하여 11월에 2.32의 년중 최고값을 나타내었다. 3. 군성숙도는 암수 모두에서 표준체장 11.0∼11.9 ㎝에서 50 % 이상, 13.0∼13.9 ㎝에서 100 %로 전 개체가 생식에 가담하는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 성숙 및 산란기인 9월에서 12월사이 난소내 난경조성의 결과에서 노래미는 한 산란기에 3회 이상의 산란을 행하는 다회 산란종으로 밝혀졌다. 5. 총포란수와 성숙란수는 체장에 비례하여 증가하였으나, 전중과의 관계에서는 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 6. 비만도는 성장기인 9월에 암수 각각 15.32, 15.14로 최고값을 보인 후 산란기를 지나며 크케 감소하였으며, 3월부터는 다시 서서히 증가하였다. 따라서 비만도의 변화는 생식주기와 밀접한 관계를 가지고 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. Sexual maturation and spawning of the spottybelly greenling. Hexagrammos agrammus were histologically studied under photomicroscopy by considering changes in gonadosomatic index, hepatosomatic index and fatness, egg diameter composition, first sexual maturity and fecundity. The fish samples were collected monthly at the coastal area of Tongbaeksom, Pusan, Korea from July 1991 to July 1992. The gonadosomatic index(GSI) increased in September and reached the maximum value(female 4.31, male 1.61) in November when the gonad was mature and ripe. The values were decreased suddenly during the spawning season from December, and declined from January to August. The annual variations of hepatosomatic index(HSI) appeared to be correlated with those of GSI in female but were not significantly correlated in male. HSI in female began to increase in autumn with the increase of GSI, and reached the maximum in winter when the ovary was mature. Percentages of first sexual maturity in female and male fish were 50% in 11.0∼11.9 ㎝ and 100% in 13.0∼13.9 ㎝ groups. Both sexes participated in reproduction from one year old. H. agrammus was considered as a polycyclic species and spawns 3 times or more in the spawning season. Number of total and mature eggs in the absolute fecundity were proportional to standard length and body weight, respectively. Number of total and mature eggs in relative fecundity were also proportional to standard length, but rather decrease with increasing of body weight. Fatness coefficients reached the maximum value(female 15.32, male 15.14) in September(growing stage), and the values were sharply decreased after spawning. Thereafter, fatness values were gradually increased, therefore, the monthly changes in fatness coefficient closely correlated with the reproductive cycle. Sex ratios of female and male sexes of this species are showed 54.18%, 45.82%, respectively.

      • Guidelines on Effective Metaphor Construction applied Gestalt Principles Underlying Conceptual Model in User Interface

        컴퓨터 사용의 역사를 보면 인터페이스 메타포는 사람들이 컴퓨터를 더 사용하기 쉽게 만드는데 쓰여왔다. 심지어 초기의 command line 인터페이스에서도 메타포를 사용해 왔었다. 사용자 인터페이스에 있어서 메타포는 사용자들을 시스템에 접근하기 쉽게 만드는 것을 도울 뿐 아니라 사용자들과 시스템과의 연결 통로라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 사용자 인터페이스에 있어서 성공적인 메타포 구축을 위해 conceptual model을 고려하여 Gestalt 원리를 활용한 지침을 제시함으로써 도움을 주고자 한다. Throughout the history of computer use, the interface metaphor has been employed to make computers easier for humans to use. Even the earliest command line interfaces used metaphor. Metaphors in user interfaces help to make the software accessible to users and allow the users to communicate with the system as well. User interface guidelines for most of the popular operating systems encourage the use of metaphors in interface design. Thus, metaphor in interface design is employed as central element with a long history. Therefore, this paper will suggest substantiating guidelines which are based on conceptual model and Gestaltprinciples for successful metaphor construction with a better user interface.
