        鼻淵에 應用되는 補中益氣湯 加減方의 治驗例

        We know paranasal sinusitis is one of the most common disease in the field of otolaryngology. Especially in the case of chronic paranasal sinusitis, patient is sufferred from recurrence. So we prescribed Bojungikgitang(補中益氣湯) to the patients who were suffered from chronic paranasal sinusitis, and we witness some noticeable improvement. Here are the findings of my experience 1. The addition and subtraction temperament drugs of Bojungikgitang(補中益氣湯加減方) are effective to the patient of chronic and feeble paranasal sinusitis by the effect of removing wind(祛風), unnecessary metabolite(祛痰), and draining pus(排膿) and strengthening digestive organs(健碑) and enriching the lung yin(益肺陰) and alleviation of pain(止痛). 2. In the symptom of chronic paranasal siunutitis, nasal obstruction, postnasal drip, sputum, headache were quick to disappear, and dysosmia, internasal polyp, etc got better slower. 3. The most quick improvement appeared within two weeks and most symptoms improved within one month, and disappeared within two months.

        Preprocessing of the Direct-broadcast Data from the Atmospheric Infared Sounder (AIRS) Sounding Suite on Aqua Satellite

        We present a pre processing system for the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) sounding suite onboard Aqua satellite. With its unprecedented 2378 channels in IR bands, AIRS aims at achieving the sounding accuracy [s1]of a radiosonde (1 K in 1-km layer for temperature and 10% in 2-km layer for humidity). The core of the pre p rocessor is the International MODIS/AIRS Processing Package (IMAPP) that performs the geometric and radiometric correction to compute the Earth's radiance. Then we remove spurious data and retrieve the brightness temperature (Tb). Since we process the direct-broadcast data almost for the first time among the AIRS directbroadcast community, special attention is needed to understand and verify the products. This includes the pixel-to-pixel verification of the direct-broadcast product with reference to the fullorbit product, which shows the difference of less than $10^{-3}$ K in IR Tb.

        수중폭발로 인한 파이프의 동적 응답해석

        In recent years, the structural shock response to UNDEX (UNDerwater EXplosion) has been studied as much, or more, through numerical simulations than through testing for several reasons. Very high costs and sensitive environmental concerns have kept destructive underwater explosion testing to a minimum. Increase of simulation capabilities and sophisticated simulation tools has made numerical simulations more efficient analysis methods as well as more reliable testing aids. In this study, the main issue is the fluid-structure interaction. Here, appropriate relations between the acoustic pressure on the fluid surface and displacements on the structure surface are formed internally. The analysis was carried out using ABAQUS/Explicit and the results have been visualized in ABAQUS CAE. The shock loading history, acoustic pressure, stress of stand-off point, the velocity and strain energy time histories were presented. 최근 수중폭발로 인한 구조물의 충격응답에 대한 연구는 매우 높은 비용과 소요시간, 민감한 환경문제 등으로 인하여 실제 시험보다는 컴퓨터를 통한 수치해석적 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 또한 시뮬레이션의 기술 향상과 더욱 정교해진 기능들로 수치 시뮬레이션의 효율성이 증가되었을 뿐 아니라 그 신뢰성까지 증가하였다. 본 연구에서는 유체 표면의 Acoustic Pressure와 구조물 표면 변위의 적절한 관계를 다루는 구조-유체 상호작용(FSI : Fluid-Structure Interaction), 수중폭파 형태를 결정하는 유체의 깊이와 폭발물과 구조물 사이의 거리에 대한 파라미터를 상용 유한요소 프로그램인 ABAQUS에 적용한 시뮬레이션 값과 실험적 이론 값 비교에 중점을 두었다. 수중폭발로 인한 파이프의 충격테스트 응답 분석은 ABAQUS/Explicit을 사용하여 수행되었고, 시간이력에 따른 충격하중, Acoustic Pressure, 타격지점의 응력, 속도, 변형에너지 등 ABAQUS CAE에서 결과를 나타내었다.

      • AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF COGNITIVE RESPONSE TO ADVERTISING: A PHYSIOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE FOR TOURISM DESTINATION MARKETING

        It is of considerable importance for tourism destination marketing organizations (DMOs) to understand the effects of various types of imagery-evoking stimuli on tourists’ visionary responses to advertising material. Accordingly, they face the need to evaluate the efficacy of advertising promotions. To date, however, there has been a paucity of research on the cognitive processes underlying the observed effects of ads featuring visuals and text versus audio mental imagery only within the context of the tourism field. This study explores how ads that include visuals and text compare with high imagery audio imagery in destination advertisements in affecting the allocation of processing resources to encode the message in memory. This study introduces a psychophysiology model?LC4MP?and a physiological measure (i.e., heart rate) that examines mental processing of tourism ads. The results indicate that high-imagery audio ads appear to lead people to invest more effort into committing the images to memory. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

      • Buildup to Disaster

        BP 텍사스 시티의 석유정제소의 화재폭발은 2005년에 가장 많은 인명의 손실을 끼친 유동화자산의 화재폭발사고로서 15인의 생명을 앗아가고 200여 명의 사람을 다치게 하였다. 트럭 한 대의 역화(내연기관의 부정폭발)에서 시작된 점화원은 이성질체화시스템(ISOM) 대기암 통기구에서의 가연성 탄화수소 액체와 증발 기체를 발화시켰다. 화학안전위원회는 그 사고를 조사 및 검토한 후 BP사가 모든 면에서 기계적인 결함과 함께 안전성이 불완전하였음을 발견하였다. 본 고는 저자들이 미국화학안전위험조사위원회에 제출한 이들의 조사보고서를 번역 게재한 것이다.

        連翹敗毒散加味方이 炎症狀態의 面胞에 미치는 影響

        In the age of puberty or 20-30th young people who are sensitive to outward appearance, acne is serious problem at beauty and has social and psychological influence on that people. So this experiment is carried out for test whether the addition temperament drugs of Yungyopaedock-san(YP) have an anti-inflammatory effect and have suppression effect on immunocyte in the state of inflammation which induced by acne. The results was as follows. 1. YP has suppress inflammatory reaction induced by carageenan. 2. YP has suppress increasing activation of abdominal cavity macrophage in the carageen and zymosan induced inflammation. 3. YP has suppress increasing activation of spleen cell in the carageenan and zymosan induced inflammation. Based on the above result, YP was improved its suppression effect to the inflammatory reaction through the suppression of spleen cell and macrophage activation. So we concluded that YP is prospected as a anti-inflammatory agent to cure inflammation induced by ance.

        Wideband Swtiching System의 Pathsearching 방법에 관한 연구

        전자교환기의 통화로부분에서 free인 통화로를 선택 접속시켜주는 방법은 통화로의 구성과 기능에 따라 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 일반 전화뿐만 아니라 TV전화, 데이타전송, 비데오텍스(Videotex),스테레오방송 등을 교환 접속시켜 주는 광대역용 전자교환기(Wideband switching system)의 교환접속망(Switching matrix)을 효과적으로 구성하여 통화로 선택이 전교환접속망에 걸쳐 고루 분포될 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 그에 따른 pathsearching simulation program을 작성하여 실예를들어 설명함으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 통화노선택방법의 유용성을 보였다. The pathsearching method in switchingmatrix of an electronic switching system depends upon the structure and function of the system. In this paper, an efficient way to construct the switching matrix and a pathsearching method under the full distributed traffic theory in an wideband switching system, which can control not only normal telephone call, but also TV telephone, data communication, videotex and sound, is proposed. And the effectiveness of the method is shown through an example of the pathsearching simulation program.

        Modulation of protective immunity against herpes simplex virus via mucosal genetic co-transfer of DNA vaccine with β2-adrenergic agonist

        Cholera toxin, which has been frequently used as mucosal adjuvant, leads to an irreversible activation of adenylyl cyclase, thereby accumulating cAMP in target cells. Here, it was assumed that β2-adrenergic agonist salbutamol may have modulatory functions of immunity induced by DNA vaccine, since β2-adrenergic agonists induce a temporary cAMP accumulation. To test this assumption, the present study evaluated the modulatory functions of salbutamol co-administered with DNA vaccine expressing gB of herpes simplex virus (HSV) via intranasal (i.n.) route. We found that the i.n. co-administration of salbutamol enhanced gB-specific IgG and IgA responses in both systemic and mucosal tissues, but optimal dosages of co-administered salbutamol were required to induce maximal immune responses. Moreover, the mucosal co-delivery of salbutamol with HSV DNA vaccine induced Th2-biased immunity against HSV antigen, as evidenced by IgG isotypes and Th1/Th2-type cytokine production. The enhanced immune responses caused by co-administration of salbutamol provided effective and rapid responses to HSV mucosal challenge, thereby conferring prolonged survival and reduced inflammation against viral infection. Therefore, these results suggest that salbutamol may be an attractive adjuvant for mucosal genetic transfer of DNA vaccine.
