        각질하 농포성 피부병 한방 치험 1례

        Objective : Subcorneal pustular dermatosis is a rare, chronic neutrophilic dermatoses that was first described in 1956. The eruption is characterized by flaccid pustules grouped in a circinate pattern on normal or erythematous skin. We treated a case of subcorneal pustular dermatosis in one patient; there have been no former reports of this disease treated by oriental medicine. We present this case because we considered it to be useful as a possible Oriental medicine treatment for subcorneal pustular dermatosis, and something that canbe used for further study of neutrophilic dermatoses. Method : We used herbal medication, acupuncture, herbal wet dressing, herbal ointment, cupping therapy and phototherapy during treatment. We assessed symptoms during treatment and also carried out blood tests through out. Result : We observed and treated a case of subcorneal pustular dermatosis patient and after treatment the patient's objective and subjective symptoms showed noticeable improvement. Conclusion : We suggest that subcorneal pustualr dermatosis can be treated by Oriental medicine therapy effectively. We expect these study results will help provide useful evidence of Oriental medicine as an effective treatment for subcorneal pustualr dermatosis.

        청장년기 아토피피부염 환자의 살의 질에 관한 연구

        Background : Many doctors are under a bias toward clinical severity in patients with atopic dermatitis. But the various studios show that atopic dermatitis may produce a range of impacts on the qualify of lift . Nevertheless there is much to be desired about the association between the quality of lift and atopic dermatitis in the department of Dermatology in Korean medicine. Objective : This study was conducted to investigate the impact of the atopic dermatitis on quality of life and explore prognostic factors that influence outcomes. Methods : 70 patients were recruited in this study rho write out more than 90% of Skindex-29 questionnaires. The function of total scores and three domain scores and SCORAD index was investigated and the correlation of each domain scores also . Result : The total scores, showed significant correlation with three domain scores in atopic dermatitis. The correlation of each three domain scores were significant. SCORAD index showed significant correlation with three domain scores and total scores. Conclusion : In this study atopic dermatitis efface of the quality of life in physical, social, and psychological factors. So we considered to the quality of life as well as clinical severity in patient with atopic dermatitis.

        보통 건선의 한방치료 경과에 대한 후향적 고찰

        Objective : To observe effects of TKM (Traditional Korean Medicine) treatment for psoriasis vulgaris. Methods : We did retrospective chart review for 32 psoriasis vulgaris patients who had been treated by TKM. TKM treatment included acupuncture, herb med, external herbal solution and moxibustion. Result : PASI (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index) 75 responding rate at treatment week 16 was 71.9%. Mild symptom patients' improvement rate and moderate to severe symptom patients' improvement rate was similar. Mean PASI score was increased until treatment week 4 to 8, and after that period, mean PASI score was decreased. Conclusion : This study suggest that TKM may be an effective treatment for psoriasis vulgaris.

        으름열매 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 피부미용 효과

        으름열매는 폴리페놀과 사포닌과 같은 페놀성 물질을 많이 함유하고 있다. 본 연구는 세포실험을 통해 으름열매 추출물의 항산화활성을 확인하고, 피부에 적용하였을 때 수분과 유분, 멜라닌과 홍반변화의 효과를 측정하였다. 항산화 효과 측정결과, 농도 의존적으로 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드, DPPH소거능이 상승한 것으로 확인되었고, 으름열매 추출물 크림을 사용하였을 때 수분함량 변화, 유분함량 변화, 멜라닌지수, 홍반지수의 감소가 통계적으로 유의미한 변화를 보여 으름열매 추출물 함유 화장품이 피부개선을 위한 기능성화장품으로서 활용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 으름열매 추출물은 독성을 나타내지 않으면서도 피부보습, 피부개선효과를 가진 천연 및 기능성화장품 소재로서 활용 가능성이 있다고 사료된다. Akebia quinata fruit(AQF), as identified in the preceding paper, polyphenols and other phenolic components of saponin also has similar or higher levels. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of akebia quinata fruit extract, well-known for soothing, anti-oxidizing effects, on the improvement of the moisture, sebum, melanin, erythema content of facial skin. As a result of measuring DPPH radical scavenging activity to examine independent anti-oxidation of AQF, there was a slight scavenging activity. Compared to before the usage of cream, a group who used cream with akebia quinata fruit extract showed a very slight increase in the moisture content and slight decrease in the sebum, melanin, erythema on their faces after 4 weeks of tests, indicating that there was some statistically significant changes found. This study proves that the akebia quinata fruit(AQF) extract has a positive effect on the overall improvement of facial skin and it also implies that the akebia quinata fruit extract has high potential as an ingredient of cosmetic products.

        2차원 레이저 스캔을 이용한 로봇의 산악 주행 장애물 판단

        Obstacle detection is much studied by using sensors such as laser, vision, radar and ultrasonic in path planning for UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle), but not much reported about its characterization. In this paper not only an obstacle classification method using 2-dimensional LMS(Laser Measurement System) but also a decision making method whether to avoid or traverse the obstacle is proposed. The basic idea of decision making is to classify the characteristics by 2D laser scanned data and intensity data. Roughness features are obtained by range data using a simple linear regression model. The standard deviations of roughness and intensity data are used as measures for decision making by comparing with those of reference data. The obstacle classification and decision making for the UGV can facilitate a short path to the target position and the survivability of the robot.

        전자선 조사를 통해 제조한 카복시메틸셀룰로스 수화젤의 팽윤거동

        In this study, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) hydrogels were successfully prepared by electron beam irradiation. The morphology and mechanical properties of the hydrogels were examined by scanning electron microscopy and tensile testing, which indicated that the compressive strength of the hydrogels was closely associated with their pore wall thickness. In addition, the equilibrium swelling ratio of the hydrogels was evaluated in both distilled water and different physiological media, which indicated that their maximum swelling ratio was higher in water than that in physiological media. Moreover, their maximum swelling ratio decreased with an increase in salt concentration. The fabricated cellulose-based hydrogels were shown to be promising for applications in drug delivery systems and the field of biomaterials.

        열플라즈마에 의한 TiO<sub>2-x</sub>N<sub>x</sub>의 합성 및 광촉매 특성 비교

        $TiO_2$의 가장 큰 특징은 광촉매적 특성을 들 수 있으나 순수한 $TiO_2$는 자외선 영역에서만 활성을 보이는 단점이 있다. 단점을 보완하고자 본 연구에서는 초고온, 고활성을 이용한 열플라즈마 공정으로 질소가 도핑된 $TiO_2$를 합성하여 $TiO_2$의 광촉매적 특성을 높이고자 하였다. 직류 플라즈마 제트를 이용하여 비금속이온인 질소와 반응 가스인 산소를 $TiCl_4$와 함께 플라즈마 반응기 안에서 반응시켜 질소가 도핑된 $TiO_2$ 나노 분말을 합성하였다. 합성 조건으로 질소의 유량을 변화하였다. 합성 변수에 따른 입자의 상조성, 크기를 분석하였고 아세트알데히드와 곰팡이를 광분해하는 실험을 통해 광촉매 활성을 살펴보았다. 한편 $TiO_2$의 분말 상태와 코팅된 상태의 광촉매 특성을 비교하고자 합성한 분말의 스핀 코팅과 PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition)을 통해 $TiO_2$를 코팅하였다. 아세트알데히드 분해 실험의 결과 질소가 도핑된 $TiO_2$ 분말의 경우가 순수한 $TiO_2$ 분말에 비해 가시영역에서의 광촉매 활성이 두 배 이상 뛰어난 것을 확인하였으며, 곰팡이 분해 실험 결과 역시 질소가 도핑된 $TiO_2$ 분말에 곰팡이가 분해되는 것을 확인하였다. 분말과 필름을 제조하여 메틸렌블루 광분해 실험한 결과 분말의 경우 100% $TiO_2$입자가 메틸렌블루 분해에 이용되며, 반면 스핀 코팅의 경우 바인더의 함량 때문에 20~30%의 $TiO_2$만이 분해에 이용되기 때문에, 분말의 경우 초기 30 mL 메틸렌블루를 한번에 분해할 수 있었다. $N_2$ doped $TiO_2$ nano-sized powder was prepared using a DC arc plasma jet and investigated with XRD, BET, SEM, TEM, and photo-catalytic decomposition. Recently the research interest about the nano-sized $TiO_2$ powder has been increased to improve its photo-catalytic activity for the removal of environmental pollutants. Nitrogen gas, reacting gas, and titanium tetrachloride ($TiCl_4$) were used as the raw materials and injected into the plasma reactor to synthesize the $N_2$ doped $TiO_2$ power. The particle size and XRD peaks of the synthesized powder were analyzed as a function of the flow rate of the nitrogen gas. Also, the characteristics of the photo-catalytic decomposition using the prepared powder were studied. For comparing the photo-catalytic decomposition performance of $TiO_2$ powder with that of $TiO_2$ coating, $TiO_2$ thin films were prepared by the spin coating and the pulsed laser deposition. For the results of the acetaldehyde decomposition, the photo-catalytic activity of $TiO_{2-x}N_x$ powder was higher than that of the pure $TiO_2$ powder in the visible light region. For the methylene blue decomposition, the decomposition efficiency of $TiO_2$ powder was also higher than that of $TiO_2$ film.

        염료감응형 태양전지의 효율 향상을 위한 하이브리드 구조 광전극의 코팅특성

        The hybrid structured photo-electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells was fabricated based on the composites of $TiO_2$ nanoparticles and nanowires. Three samples with different hybrid structures were prepared with 17 vol%, 43 vol%, and 100 vol% nanowires. The energy conversion efficiency was enhanced from 5.54% for pure nanoparticle cells to 6.01% for the hybrid structure with 17 vol% nanowires. For the hybrid structured layers with high nanowires concentration (43 vol% and 100 vol%), the efficiency decreased with the nanowire concentration, because of the decrease of specific surface area, and of thus decreased current density. The random orientations of $TiO_2$ nanowires can be preserved by the doctor blade process, resulted in the enhanced efficiency. The hybrid structured $TiO_2$ layer can possess the advantages of the high surface area of nanoparticles and the rapid electron transport rate and the light scattering effect of nanowires.

        알레르기 비염의 변증을 위한 설문문항 개발

        Objectives : The prevalence of allergic rhinitis (AR) is 10-40% worldwide and there are many demands for Traditionl Medicine (TM) treatment for AR. Pattern identification (PI) is essential process in diagnosis and treatment of TM, however, objective assessment measurement for PI of AR in TM is lacked. Methods : PI questionnaire for AR was developed in 2008 by specialists in the department of Otolaryngology of TM, based on systemic and nasal symptoms and signs. However, that questionnaire had many problems in application to clinical practice and has since been revised based on several studies and delphi method. Consequently, the PI questionnaire for AR version 3.0 has been developed. Results & Conclusions : This questionnaire classifies patients with AR as possessing lung-heat, lung-cold, or spleen qi deficiency based on nasal symptoms and general conditions of AR patients. This is first questionnaire for pattern identification of AR. We plan to conduct a validation and reliability study, and revise the questionnaire based on the results of this study.

      • 왕궁리 유적지에서 발굴된 고대 토양의 부분 특성 연구

        The archeological remains usually exist in some excavated ancient soils. The ancients oils are buried in underground with the environmental, biological and social facts for circumstantial evidence at past times. Consequently, it is very important thing to carry out scientific analysis of the ancient soils side by side with archeological study. In this study, we accumulated some basic data for scientific analysis of 5 kinds of ancient soils excavated at Wanggung-ri, Iksan city. So we obtained some characterizations of organic chemical source, ancient parasite egg, and some seeds in the soils. The organic sources showed the content of high organic material as 7~22%, and strong acidic condition as pH 2~6. It is indicated that Wanggung-ri soils have included so many organic materials from the degradation of biological remains. Most of all, we searched a lot of eggs of parasite Trichuris trichiura and so it is possible that this area had been a ancient toilet at that times. The more scientific analysis of the soils will be showed us about the utility of the area, ancient dietary life style, ancient environment and ancient human diseases.
