Waste water heat recovery heat pump system uses heat of waste water from public bath or factory as heat pump"s heat source. This system uses a bare tube evaporator. Most Thermal resistance is caused by fouling which occur in outer surface of evaporator. Formed fouling increases directly thermal resistance between waste water and refrigerant so this decreases heat pump"s efficiency. In this study, we fabricate fouling mitigating device in recovery heat exchanger using fluidized bubble with sponge ball. Experimental condition is as follow : cold water temperature is 20℃, waste water temperature is 40℃, cold water flow rate is 100kg/h and heat exchanger surface area is 0.161m2. As a result, thermal resistance by formed fouling used fluidized bubble and sponge ball was lower than if not. When the number of sponge balls was higher, thermal resistance was lower. However, when the number of sponge ball was higher than 300, amplitude of thermal resistance decrease was lower.
