시뮬레이션을 이용한 고효율 분산 브래그 반사경 최적화 설계 및 특성

This study focused on the development of simulation methodology and design optimization for the DBR(Distributed Bragg Reflectors) structures, which are commonly used in manufacturing optical films and the key components of LED chip and LCD inspection equipments. From the multi-layer simulation, the following results are obtained. First, the wavelength(nm) vs. reflectance(%) can be calculated in the DBR structures that TiO2 and SiO2 thin films are stacked alternately. As a results, it is suggested that highly efficient DBR structures can be designed and manufactured using simulation methodology. 본 연구에서는 LED칩 및 LCD 검사장비의 핵심부품인 광학 필름제조에 많이 사용되고 있는 DBR(Distributed Bragg Reflectors) 구조에 대한 시뮬레이션 방법을 개발하고 이러한 다층박막 특성 시뮬레이션을 통하여 최적의 DBR 구조를 제시하였다. 고굴절률 유전체인 TiO2와 저굴절률 유전체인 SiO2 박막을 교대로 적층한 다층박막 구조에서 TiO2와 SiO2의 refractive index 값을 사용하여 박막의 배치 및 조합에 따른 wavelength(nm) vs. reflectance(%) 스펙트럼을 계산하였고 이 결과로 시뮬레이션을 통한 고효율 분산 브래그 반사경 최적화 설계 및 공정에 활용하여 DBR 구조 제작에 사용할 수 있었다.
PECVD 공정을 이용한 후면 패시베이션 및 결정질 실리콘 태양전지 적용에 관한 연구

In this study, SiNx and Al2O3 thin film was manufactured using PECVD deposition process and applied to crystalline silicon solar cells, resulting in 16.7% conversion efficiency. The structural improvement experiment of the rear electrode resulted in a 1.7% improvement in conversion efficiency compared to the reference cell by reducing the recombination rate of minority carriers and increasing the carrier lifetime by forming a passivation layer consisting of SiNx and Al2O3 thin films through the PECVD process.
Direct Writing Lithography Technique for Semiconductor Fabrication Process Using Proton Beam

Proton beam writing is a direct writing lithography technique for semiconductor fabrication process. The advantage of this technique is that the proton beam does not scatter as they travel through the matter and therefore maintain a straight path as they penetrate into the resist. The experiment has been carried out at Accelerator Mass Spectrometry facility. The focused proton beam with the fluence of 100 nC/mm2 was exposed on the PMMA coated silicon sample to make a pattern on a photo resist. The results show the potential of proton beam writing as an effective way to produce semiconductor fabrication process.
Thin Film Passivation Characteristics in OLED Using In-situ Passivation

In this study, the fabrication and the characteristic analyses of OLED using in-situ passivation are investigated. OLEDs represent a disadvantage in decreasing its life due to the degradation caused by the penetration of moisture and oxygen. After the fabrication of OLED, an in-situ passivation method for inorganic thin films is developed. A process that uses PECVD method which can apply a vapor deposition process at room temperature is also developed. Changes in the degradation and electric characteristics of OLEDs are also analyzed by applying SiO2 and SiNx thin films to OLED as a passivation layer. By applying the fabricated thin film to OLEDs as a passivation layer, the moisture penetration in a single layer film is ensured below 1×10-2 g/m2.day. This leads to the improvement of such degradation characteristics in the application of multilayer films.
Thermal Evaporation 증발원 개발 및 응용에 관한 연구

The thermal evaporation source is used to prepare thin films by physical vapor deposition. Materials of metals, organic materials, were tested and explained for thermal evaporation experiments. The developed effusion cell performance depends on the type of deposition material, the size of the crucible, the performance of the reflector, etc. and the proper conditions were found by producing, comparing and analyzing several sets of effusion cell to quantitatively evaluate the performance of the cell. The effusion cell for thermal evaporation source is used to prepare thin films of Ag, Cu, Mg.
플렉시블 OLED 패시베이션용 유기 박막 제작 및 특성

Polyimide thin film was prepared by annealing the polyamic acid that was synthesized through co-deposition of diamine and dianhydride. The polyamic acid and polyimide thin film were characterized with FT-IR and HR FE-SEM. The average roughness of the film surface, evaluated with AFM, were 0.385 nm and 0.299 nm after co-deposition, and annealing at 120 ℃ respectively. OLED was passivated with the polyimide layer of 200 nm thickness. While the inorganic passivation layer enhances the WVTR of OLED, the organic passivation layer gives flexibility to the OLED. The in-situ passivation of OLED with organic thin film layer provides the leading technique to develop flexible OLED Display.
감기 임상시험 가이드라인 제정을 위한 최신 임상시험 연구 분석

Objectives: The aim of this study was to help develop a guideline for the common cold. We searched recent clinical studies of the common cold in Western medicine and reviewed their objectives, inclusion and exclusion criteria, primary outcome, secondary outcome, and assessment tools to establish evidenced-based guideline.Methods: We searched electronic databases (Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, EMBASE) to identify eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about the common cold for the last 10 years. We included 29 RCTs and showed their research summary via their objectives, participants, interventions, control, treatment duration, and results. We also analyzed the definition of the common cold presented in the article, inclusion and exclusion criteria, primary and secondary outcomes, and assessment tools.Results: We reported the aforementioned areas in detail. At first, the definition of the common cold was confused across the articles. Second, herbal medication clinical trials for the common cold have been extensively studied recently. Third, the eligibility criteria frequently included the Jackson Symptom score. Fourth, validated assessment tools (i.e., the Wisconsin Upper Respiratory Symptom Survey-21) have only been used in a few recent studies.Conclusions: Our research will be helpful to establish Korean herbal medicine clinical trial guidelines for the common cold.
