      • 17세기 시가문학의 연행 환경과 창작·향유의 경향

        17세기 시가문학사 연구는 문학적 측면에만 지나치게 경도되어, 시가문학의 연행문화적인 면모가 제대로 드러나지 않았다. 본고는 시가문학이 문학만이 아니라 공연예술이라는 점을 중시하여 연행환경, 유행하는 레퍼토리, 음악적 기호나 취향 등의 재구를 통해 17세기 시가문학의 특성을 진단하고자 하였다. 17세기 사대부들은 공연을 통해 고도의 심미감과 예술적 경지에 빠져들고자 했으며, 이런 추세에 부응하여 사대부가에서는 지방에서 활동하던 명창들을 개인적으로 보호하고 훈련시켰다. 이런 명창들의 노래 중 애호되었던 작품은 송강의 <관동별곡>, <사미인곡>, <속미인곡>, <장진주사>였다. 이 작품들은 사대부들의 정서적 해방과 탐미적 예술성을 만족시키며 애청되었다. 17세기 사대부들은 아름다운 노래를 몰아 상태에서 감상하고 노래를 흥겹게 불러대는 순간이 인생 최대의 지락임을 선언했다. 17세기에 이르러 시가예술에서 도덕적 아취를 찾고, 도덕적 품성을 기르려는 도문일치의 패러다임은 한켠으로 밀려나게 되었다. 17세기 사대부들은 현실은 언제나 부조리하고, 인생은 우환이 가득하며, 세상만사는 허망하며, 늙음과 죽음은 소멸을 향해 화살처럼 달린다고 생각했다. 이들은 페이소스 가득한 눈으로 현실을 바라보았다. 이들이 선택한 방식은 또 다른 구도의 길이나 인생을 달관하는 관조적이고 철학적 시선이 아니었다. 그들은 현재를 즐기고, 아름다움에 빠지고, 매 순간의 변화에 매혹되고, 시와 노래와 술이 어우러지는 예술과 놀이에 탐닉하고자 했다. 그 결과 17세기 노래를 관통하는 담론은 탄로와 취락이었다. 17세기 사대부들의 정서는 방달하고 쾌락적인 것이었지만, 퇴폐적 향락으로까지 치닫지는 않았다. 감성적이고 예술적인 것에 몰입하는 탐미적 완상이 17세기 사대부 시가예술의 개성이라고 말할 수 있을 것이다.

        THIs essay examined carefully The Special Feature of Yi Duk-Moo(李德懋)'s Sopoommun(小品文) & the Meaning of Prose's Education. The appearance we should watch out for Yi Duk-Moo's Sopoommun, is that describe the natural ecology and the mysterious vitalism of the animal kingdom. His concern of the natural ecology is placed on a track with a movement of writers in 18th century. They also attracted by all things in the universe, changed moment by moment. But it was full of conspicuously the description of natural ecology and the vitalism of animals kingdom in Yi Duk-Moo Sopoommun. Yi Duk-Moo used his resources that express exactly the features of nature as frost, rats, weasels, fish, magpie etc. The expression is full of life. Therefore one work is picturesque, the other work is curious. Yi Duk-Moo's Sopoommun put us on artistic effects and give us new knowledge or intelligence. Yi Duk-Moo's Sopoommun is forced us to recognize newly the educational value of classic prose. This classic prose cause us to realize fact that be the source of knowledge, penetrated into r writing & the understanding of world & embodiment'.

        16세기 초반 詩歌史의 흐름 : 金絿의 시가작품을 중심으로 Attaching Importance to Kim Gu(金絿)`s Siga Literature

        This article is a study on the consciousness of the world and the genre which Kim Gu's Siga literature expressed. Throughout the whole features of Kim Gu Siga works, I considered the stream of Siga history in the early 16 century. Kim Gu's Sijo texts were in contents mainly that eulogize and wish a long time for a king like Acjang(樂章). Kyunggichega (경기체가) text patterned on the style of <Sangdebyulgok (상대별곡)> and represented pleasure-seeking taste. As compared with the features of Sarim (士林) Siga in the 16 century, Kim Gu's texts must have been showing a peculiar tendency. There tendency varied with the chief distinction of Sarim Siga that was known as Gangho (江湖) Siga. Gangho Siga have not appeared on the whole aesthetic appreciation of unrestrained emotion. Kim Gu's Siga literature is reflective of some stream that haven't been included in the line of Sarim Siga. In the view of the results so far achieved, Kim Gu's Siga literature is reflection on ordinary culture of musical banquet that contemporary Sadebu(士大夫) have been enjoyed widespread. On the ground of Kim Gu's Siga Literature, this study made certain of a lineage on the Siga history in the early 16 century that regarded a blank position the while. Kim Gu's Siga literature disprove the universal and ordinary culture of Siga in the early Chosun Dynasty.

        『독립신문』·『매일신문』에 수용된 '문명/야만'담론의 의미 층위

        This study aims at examining the meaning of ‘civilization / savageness’ appeared in THE INDEPENDENT & THE DAILY NEWS. The western civilization came into use universal civilization after 1894. The other side the oriental civilization eliminated to concept of civilization. This paper will research what representation is the civilization and what conception is identify with civilization. THE HANSUNG WEEKLY NEWS and THE HANSUNG MONTHLY NEWS appear the concept of ‘civilization/savageness’. The meaning of civilization is science and technology in the western. It coexist the oriental and western civilization in this text. The perception of civilization close to Dongdosugi(東道西器) in Korea and Hwahonyangje(和魂洋材) in Japan and Yangmoo(洋務) in China. THE INDEPENDENT & THE DAILY NEWS appear the western civilization. This conception circulated to the general public. The civilization mean ‘the western’, ‘the civilized country’, ‘the enlightenment’, ‘a rich country’, ‘sovereign independence’ and the savageness identity with ‘the oriental’, ‘the uncivilized country’, ‘conventionnalities’, ‘dependence’. The education and manners & hygiene is the most important matter that processed civilization in this text. The education, school, learning mean the western that. The learning identity with ‘werstern learning’, ‘new learning’, ‘practical science’. While ‘oriental learning’ mean ‘the old learning’, ‘study of Chinese classics’, ‘unsubstantial learning’. The civilized project advances the western life style.

        This essay attempted to reveal the fact that Siga literature is performing arts on 17th century. Therefore on this report, I recomposed the performance environment, the popular song, a musical taste or artistic bent during 17th century. As a result, it showed tendency of Siga literature on 17th. Sadaebu fell into the esthetic appreciation and artistic quality on song and music on the stage. They put great emphasis on appreciation and announced that esthetic appreciation of song is extream pleasure. So artistic theory what controlled emotion and trained the nature have been tossed aside. Sadeabu enjoyed Jung Chul`s song <Gwandongbulgok>, <Samiingok>, <Sokmiingok>, <Jangjinjusa> during 17th century. As this songs, they was emotionally free and was sensible to artistic splendor. During 17th century, Sadeabu thank that the reality is absurd, that the life is the continuation of the trouble, that all is vanity in world, that the grow old and the death is destroyed for fear. Therefore They sang about mourning for the agedness and the conviviality. As this song, they was eager to enjoy the present, fall in beauty, respond to the change of the time, was given to wine and song and play with friends. The mood of Sadaebu was free and wallowed in pleasure.
