        영양 서석지원(瑞石池園)의 경관요소를 통한 외원 규모 추정 및 프랙탈 구조(Fractal Structure)

        The studies of Korean traditional gardens have been a lot of diachronic approaches through ancient documents and on-site investigation. Previous research has focused on the characteristics that are inherent symbolism of the traditional landscape space, such as site characteristics. There are many studies for inner gardens, outer gardens and other influential ranges of gardens of the location characteristics. However, studies on the scale of external gardens were not satisfactory from a quantitative perspective. Unlike private life sphere, quantitative analysis was conducted on the role of a sphere of public community life for outer gardens. Visibility analysis was performed through the existing literature and GIS programs to estimate the magnitude of the outer garden. When it was compared with Min G. H.(1982) research, it is almost the same if it is estimated to focus on Buyoung -bong(芙蓉峯) and Ip-am(立巖). Also, as a result of the fractal structure for a variety of symbols in the garden, fractal dimension in landscape elements is relatively concentrated, unlike in other areas. Thus, the external scale can be a means of cultural property protection out of the crucial perspective for the inner garden. There has been consideration of the cooperation with the visual complexity using the concept of fractal structure as one of the elements of landscape analysis. 지금까지 별서정원과 관련된 연구들은 고문서 및 현장조사를 통한 통시적인 접근을 많이 해왔다. 전통조경공간의 상징성, 입지 특성 등 그 공간에 내재된 특성에 초점을 둔 연구들이 많았다. 하지만, 입지 특성 중 내원, 외원, 영향권에 대한 특성은 많았으나, 외원 규모에 대한 정량적 연구는 미진하였다. 사생활권역인 내원과 달리 공동생활권역으로서의 역할인 외원에 대하여 정량적인 분석을 하기 위해 서석지원를 대상으로 실시하였다. 서석지원를 대상으로 기존 문헌들과 GIS 프로그램을 통해 가시권 분석을 실시하였으며, 외원 규모를 추정하였다. 선행연구와 일부 차이가 있었지만, 부용봉과 입암 중심으로 확인해본 결과, 거의 유사한 면적으로 나타났다. 또한, 추정된 외원 규모를 통해 서석지원의 다양한 상징성에 대한 프랙탈 차원을 분석해본 결과, 주요 경관요소에서 프랙탈 차원이 상대적으로 집중화되는 경향을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 주요 경관요소는 청기천을 제외하고, 일반 자연경관(논, 밭 등)에 비해 상대적으로 높은 수치 및 넓은 범위의 프랙탈 차원을 가지고 있었다. 이를 통해 외원규모가 그동안 별서정원의 형태 중 내원에 대한 문화재 보호에서 벗어나, 외원에 대한 문화재 보호수단을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한, 이번 연구가 경관분석 요소 중 하나로서 프랙탈 구조 개념을 도입하여 주요 경관요소에 대한 시각적 복잡성에 대해 고려하였지만, 각 경관요소에 대하여 시문학과 더불어 좀 더 융합적인 사고의 결과물에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 기대한다.

        중복지정된 보호지역을 고려하기 위한 IUCN 카테고리 적용

        The purpose of this study is to seek the application of IUCN categories of overlapping protected areas which is legally designated in South Korea. Different government departments in South Korea have managed and designated as protected areas. However, the protected areas due to different management agencies can be confused with restricting behaviors and supporting residents. The IUCN presents the reasonal standardization classifying the protected areas which could be applied all over the world. Six categories issued by the IUCN could be applied to deal with the problems of the overlapping protected areas. We suggested the application of the IUCN categories compared with legal frame in South Korea. Most areas are overlapped in designation, but the areas are important for ecology and landscape. Moreover, each protected areas in South Korea have zone districts. Comprehensively considered all these things, we made rationale matrix correlated with the IUCN categories and the zone districts of the protected areas in South Korea. For the result of this study, this matrix could be helped to the application of the IUCN categories in domestic protected areas. Although the protected areas has been recognized as regulatory regions, it is expected to expand and sustain the areas based on the matrix.

        식생기반재 뿜어붙이기의 비탈면 녹화이후 침식 안정성 평가 방법

        Slope revegetation refers to the use of vegetation and construction to protect a barren slope devastated by road and building construction. Among many revegetation strategies, hydroseeding has been widely utilized to stabilize barren slopes and has become the representative approach. Previous studies on slope stability have been conducted from a civil engineering perspective, mainly evaluating the stability of cut-slopes on solid bedrock and the use of concrete structures to stabilize devastated slopes. This study was conducted to develop a method to evaluate erosion risk of revegetated cut-slopes, based on criteria derived from previous studies. Twenty-five factors were surveyed on both on-the-spot erosion slopes and non-erosion slopes after slope revegetation to compare slope types. The scores of all non-erosion slopes exceed 80 score while erosion slopes are 80 below. Erosion slopes got the range of 68-74 score while non-erosion slopes got the range of 81-100 score in the first result which was not applied for weighted-values. The scores of all non-erosion slopes exceeded 3.10, while erosion slopes were below 3.10. Erosion slopes were in the range of 2.73-3.09, while non-erosion slopes were in the range of 3.15-3.90 in the second result, which was applied with weighted-values according to the AHP result from a previous study.

        비탈면 녹화이후 식생피복에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 -자연생태복원 공법을 중심으로-

        This study was conducted on the field application for a method which is currently used. Although the method was performed with experimental knowledge, this study attempted to approach scientific ways through thirty sets of test-bed and three times monitoring limited by control variations for three months. The factors on previous studies are slope location, slope degree, type (roadfill vs. roadcut), aspect, vegetation cover, species, thickness, vertical length, horizontal length, soil type, elevation, erosion, soil-moisture, soil-hardness, pH, and so on. However, the factors of a suitable and significant level are slope degree, type, aspect, thickness, soil-moisture, vertical length and horizontal length in slope revegetation. the results were as follows: As a result of survey on soil types based on the status before construction, the rate of vegetation cover with non-mesh construction in soil areas was better than the rate of vegetation cover with fiber meshes and wire meshes. The rate of vegetation cover with fiber meshes in weathered rocks was better than using wire meshes. The rate of vegetation cover with the wire meshes in blasted rocks was better than using fiber meshes. Also, the factors affecting the rate of vegetation cover presented the number of appearance species, soil-moisture, thickness. this result presented the more appearance species as a positive role, and the lower soil-moisture and the thicker soil as a negative role.

        서울여자대학교 옥상녹화 지역의 식물 종 증감 및 토양환경 특성 변화

        This study was carried out to investigate the changes of plant species and soil physicochemical properties on green roofs established at Seoul Women`s University in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The plant species and soil properties were investigated in 2013. The areas of green roof sites ranged 90~100m2. There were floras of vascular plants of 12 families, 20 genera and 22 species in the 2005 site, 24 families, 37 genera and 38 species in the 2006 site, 14 families, 27 genera and 31 species in the 2007 site. The total number of plant species decreased in 2005 and 2006 sites and increased in the 2007 site established. High proportion of dispersal type was barochory in the 2005 and 2006 site, and autochory in the 2007 site. And the proportion of the compositae family was high in the introduced plants over the sites for the all study sites. Average pH and organic matter concentration of green roof soil were ranged from 5.25 to 5.96 and 7.17 to 8.96% in study sites. The organic matter concentration and pH of green roof soil were lower in 2013 than in the three establishment years. Carbon concentration of green roof soil in the three study sites were ranged from 4.16 to 5.30% and total soil carbon in 10cm depth were ranged from 1.57 to 1.98kg/m2.

        동국대학교 옥상녹화 지역의 식생 및 토양특성 변화

        This study was to provide the base data on the status of vegetations and soils in green roofs by analyzing the soil and vegetation characteristics of 4 green roofs in Dongguk University in September 2012. Sanglokwon(SW), Dongguk Hall(DH), University Library(UL), and Information and Culture Hall P(IC) were established in 2005, 2008, 2009, and 2010, respectively. The areas of green roofs were 700m2, 2,300m2, 1240m2, and 640m2 in SW, DH, UL, and IC respectively. The investigated floras of vascular plants were 26 families, 55 genera, 65 species in Snglokwon(SW), 53 families, 99★ genera, 112 species in Dongguk Hall(DH), 43 families, 77 genera, 84 species in University Library(UL), and 41 families, 71 genera, 75 species in Information and Culture Hall P(IC), respectively. A positive correlation is shown between the number of plant species and planting area. Total nitrogen, organic matter, and potassium in soil have positive correlation with the number of plant species. The number of plant species was proportional to area and increased more than twice after planting. About a quarter of the invaded plants (including native and naturalized species) were naturalized plants. The total soil depths including vegetation soil and drainage soil at SW, DH, UL. and IC were 20cm, 10cm, 10cm, and 8cm, respectively, The depths of vegetation soil at SW, DH. UL, and IC were <7cm, <3cm, <2cm, and <2cm respectively. The soil pH in vegetation soil ranged from 5.22 to 5.36, and from 6.13 to 6.39 in drainage soil. Available-P concentration ranged from 10.17 to 18977rng/kg in vegetation soil and from 6.70 to 81.17mg/kg in drainage soil. Carbon concentration in vegetation soil ranged from 2.93 to 9.70%, and 2.93 to 9.70% in drainage soil. Carbon contents in 20cm, 10cm, 10cm, and 8cm soil depths were 2.62kg/m2, l.89kg/m2, 0.SOkg/m2, and 0.53kg/rn2 at SW, DH, UL, and IC, respectively.

        로드킬 발생 영향요인 분석 - 설악산 국립공원 44번 국도를 대상으로 -

        본 연구는 설악산 국립공원 내 44번 국도를 대상으로 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 로드킬이 발생한 지역의 공간적 특성을 분석하고, 분석 결과의 적합도 및 예측도를 평가하여 로드킬 발생 근본 원인을 파악하고자 하였다. 2008년부터 2013년까지 구축된 81개의 로드킬 데이터를 종속변수로 설정하고, 선행연구 및 현장조사를 통해 도출한 경사, 향, 식생, 백두대간 등의 자연환경 요인과 펜스 옹벽 등의 인공시설물, 경작지, 주거지역 등의 토지이용 변수를 독립 변수로 설정하고, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 회귀식을 추정하였다. 식생 영급, 하천으로부터의 거리, 펜스 옹벽 등의 설치구간, 주거지역 건물 등의 시설로부터의 거리가 로드킬에 영향을 미치는 변수로 선택되었다. 회귀모형에 포함된 모든 변수들은 유의수준(p<0.01)을 충족하였다. 회귀모형에서 로드킬 발생에 가장 큰 영향력을 보인 변수는 펜스 옹벽 등의 설치구간(회귀계수: -1.0135)으로 나타났으며, 가장 낮은 영향력을 보인 변수는 식생 영급(회귀계수: 0.0001)으로 나타났다. 즉, 펜스 옹벽 등의 설치 구간에서는 로드킬이 일어날 확률이 낮으며, 주거지역 건물 등의 시설로부터의 거리가 가까울수록, 하천으로부터의 거리가 가까울수록, 식생 영급이 커질수록 로드킬 발생이 높아질 수 있다. 추정된 로지스틱 회귀모형 결과로부터 로드킬이 일어날 것이라고 옳게 예측한 확률은 74.1%, 로드킬이 일어나지 않을 것이라고 옳게 예측한 확률은 70.4%로 나타났다. 전체적으로는 옳게 분류한 확률은 72.2%로 비교적 높은 비율을 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 로드킬 저감을 위한 계획 및 정책 수립, 방지시설 설치 계획 등의 공간의사 결정에 객관적 근거로 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. This study aimed to interpret the fundamental cause of road-kill occurrences and analyzed spatial characteristics of the road-kill locations from Route 44 in Seorak National Park, Korea. Logistic regression analysis was utilized for backward elimination on variables. Seorak National Park Service has constructed GIS-data of 81 road-kill occurrences from 2008 to 2013 and these data were assigned as dependent variables in this study. Considered as independent variables from previous studies and field surveys, vegetation age-class, distance to streams, coverage of fences and retaining walls, and distance to building sites were assigned as road-kill impact factors. The coverage of fences and retaining walls(-1.0135) was shown as the most influential factor whereas vegetation age-class(0.0001) was the least influential among all of the significant factor estimates. Accordingly, the rate of road-kill occurrence can increase as the distance to building sites and stream becomes closer and vegetation age-class becomes higher. The predictive accuracy of road-kill occurrence was shown to be 72.2% as a result of analysis, assuming as partial causes of road-kill occurrences reflecting spatial characteristics. This study can be regarded as beneficial to provide objective basis for spatial decision making including road-kill occurrence mitigation policies and plans in the future.

        수목원 방문객 만족도 증진을 위한 개선방향 - 제이드가든 내 4개 주제정원을 대상으로 -

        본 연구의 목적은 제이드가든 방문객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 주제원의 식물전시 만족도, 관람로 만족도, 시설물 만족도에 영향을 미치는 세부적인 요인을 규명하는 것이다. 만족도분석을 위해 제이드가든 내 4개의 주제원별로 100부씩 총 400부의 설문결과를 통계 분석에 활용하였다. 통계기법은 다중회귀분석 t-test, 다원배치분산분석 등을 이용하였다. 분석결과 식물원 내 주제원의 만족도는 식물전시가 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 시설물이 가장 작은 영향을 미치는 경향이 나타났다. 식물전시 만족도의 세부요인의 분석 결과에 의하면 식물다양성 만족도, 식물배치방법이 각 주제원에 가장 큰 영향을 주고 있었다. 식물다양성에 대한 만족도 분석에서는 다양한 종의 도입이 주제원의 만족도 증진에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 단일 수종으로 특화하여 조성된 주제원인 은행나무미로원의 경우, 만족도가 높게 분석되어 식물의 다양성과 그에 따른 만족도가 비례하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 정원의 주제나 조성의도에 따라 식물다양성 연출이 이용만족도에의 영향을 주고 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 관람로의 경우 동선의 폭원이 이용만족도에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치고 있었는데, 이는 제이드가든의 성수기 내 집중된 이용객의 증가 요인으로 관람로 내 이용객의 교행 가능여부가 만족도에 중대한 영향을 미치는 것이 원인으로 분석되었다. 시설물의 경우 휴식 및 편의 시설의 존재유무가 방문객의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 향후 이용자만족도 증진을 위한 수목원의 관리 및 조성에 있어서 식물다양성, 식물배치방법, 관람로의 폭원, 시설물다양성 등이 중요도가 높은 설계인자로 고려되어야 하며, 세부적인 방문객 만족요인들을 체계적으로 분류하여 주제원에 적용할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to identify detailed factors that affect visitor satisfactions of the plants on display, environments of pedestrian road and facility of each theme garden by conducting a survey of visitors to Jade Garden. The 400 data including 100 copies per theme garden were used for statistical analysis. The statistical techniques used in the survey analysis include multi-regression analysis, t-test, and analysis of variance(ANOVA). As a result of the analysis, most of theme gardens tended to have the greatest impact on the satisfaction of the plants on display and the lowest level of facility satisfaction. According to detailed factors analysis of the satisfaction of plants on display satisfaction of plant diversity and the method of plant display were most affected in most of the theme gardens. Among them, promoting the satisfaction of plant diversity is necessary to plant various species, but in case of Ginkgo Maze Garden, a type of tree community as one tree(Ginkgo biloba), the satisfaction of plants diversity did not show a rising-up value. Therefore, it was confirmed that the appropriate degree of plants diversity depends on the theme or environment of the garden. In the case of the pedestrian-road-satisfaction, the width of the pedestrian road was the most affected, It was analyzed that whether the point of intersection can be easily available during peak season has a significant impact on the satisfaction of visitors. In the case of facility satisfaction, it was analyzed that the presence of rest and convenience facilities had the most direct influence on visitors, so the facility diversity had the greatest influence. Therefore, it is necessary to more systematically categorize and consider the influential detailed factors such as plants diversity and methods of plant display, width of pedestrian road and facilities diversity for the management and development of the arboretum.

        A Study on Obtaining Tree Data from Green Spaces in Parks Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Images: Focusing on Mureung Park in Chuncheon

        Background and objective: The purpose of study is to analyze the three-dimensional (3D) structure by creating a 3D model for green spaces in a park using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) images. Methods: After producing a digital surface model (DSM) and a digital terrain model (DTM) using UAV images taken in Mureung Park in Chuncheon-si, we generated a digital tree height model (DHM). In addition, we used the mean shift algorithm to test the classification accuracy, and obtain accurate tree height and volume measures through field survey. Results: Most of the tree species planted in Mureung Park were Pinus koraiensis, followed by Pinus densiflora, and Zelkova serrata, and most of the shrubs planted were Rhododendron yedoense, followed by Buxus microphylla, and Spiraea prunifolia. The average height of trees measured at the site was 7.8 m, and the average height estimated by the model was 7.5 m, showing a difference of about 0.3 m. As a result of the t-test, there was no significant difference between height values of the field survey data and the model. The estimated green coverage and volume of the study site using the UAV were 5,019 ㎡ and 14,897 ㎥, respectively, and the green coverage and volume measured through the field survey were 6,339 ㎡ and 17,167 ㎥. It was analyzed that the green coverage showed a difference of about 21% and the volume showed a difference of about 13%. Conclusion: The UAV equipped with RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) modules used in this study could collect information on tree height, green coverage, and volume with relatively high accuracy within a short period of time. This could serve as an alternative to overcome the limitations of time and cost in previous field surveys using remote sensing techniques.
