Recently, uasge of DC motor is increasing for vehicle convenience and safety. According to trend, interest for noise and vibration are increasing too. In this paper, decrease of noise & vibration for Compact motor (which) developed for vehicle miniaturization and lighten will be studied. All of test implemented under actual load. Natural frequency of each parts are measured through modal & Random excite except resonance by Natural frequency.

This study presents performance of the seawater lift pump by means of computational fluid dynamic (CFD). However, the influence of pump on impeller design has not been understood completely. In this study, the research about the effect of the various changes of impeller shape is performed. The blade angles and the blade thickness were selected as main parmeters. The result of the simulation test considering blade angles and the blade thickness shows that the impeller of the seawater lift pump satisfies the designed performance parameters such as head, power and efficiency with mass flow.

This study uses a characteristic function to explain correlations between the objective function and design variables. Analysis of means and table of orthogonal array were carried out. The change of shape of diaphragm, thickness of diaphragm and voice coil weight based on the table of orthogonal array is made. Therefore this study carried to decide design variables for minimizing 1st natural frequency and maximizing 2nd natural frequency of diaphragm using design of experiments and characteristic function with constraints. we showed improved design variables.

The development of deepwater oil and gas reserves constantly faces the challenge to reduce costs of all components and activities. With an increase in drilling operations in harsh environments, drilling riser requirements and limits have become more onerous due to uncertainties involved in response prediction and prolonged drilling programs. A high level of understanding is required of the response of the system to various conditions, and the design issues that govern the system. This paper presents an overview of the engineering challenges faced in designing drilling riser system for drill ship in water depths of 3,000m. Also, Static and dynamic analysis of drill riser system are carried out for the development of drill riser joint.

The seawater lift pump system is responsible for maintaining the open canal level to provide the suction flow of circulating water pump at the set point. The objective of this paper is to design a 2-stage mixed flow pump (for seawater lifting) by inverse design method and to evaluate the overall performance and the local flow fields of the pump by using a commercial CFD code. Rotating speed of the impeller is 1,750 rpm with the flow rate of 2,700 ㎥/h. Finite volume method with structured mesh and Realizable k-ε turbulent model is used to guaranty more accurate prediction of turbulent flow in the pump impeller. The numerical results such as static head, brake horse power and efficiency of the mixed flow pump are compared with the experimental results. The simulated results are good agreement with the experimental results less 3% error.

The purpose of this study is to design 200 ㎾, 15,000 rpm 3 phase induction motor. This research deals with natural frequency and mode shape of rotating shaft of 3 phase induction motor with bearing stiffness by finite element analysis. We present natural frequency characteristic variation of rotating shaft according to change bearing stiffness. Also we are verified stability of rotating shaft from backward and forward critical speed by campbell diagram.

Also, the periodic condition calculation method for the mixed flow pump was carried out in order to investigate the pump performance characteristics with the modification of impeller geometry.
