공학급 국방 모델의 시뮬레이션 성능 향상을 위한 다중 충실도 M&S 기법 연구

본 논문은 공학급 국방 모델의 시뮬레이션 성능 향상을 위해 다중 충실도(Multi-fidelity) 모델링 시뮬레이션(M&S: Modeling and Simulation) 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 다양한 충실도를 지닌 모델을 활용하여 고 충실도 모델의 시뮬레이션과 비교하여 유사한 수준의 시스템 분석 결과를 얻음과 동시에 시뮬레이션 성능 측면에서 이득을 가져오는 방안이다. 다중 충실도 원리를 적용하기 위해 본 논문은 충실도를 모델 동작과 실행 측면으로 세분화하고, 충실도 변환 지점을 FCP (Fidelity Change Point)로 정의한다. 이러한 원리를 바탕으로 본 논문은 다음의 세 가지 쟁점을 다룬다. 먼저, 모델 동작과 실행 측면의 충실도 변환을 위한 모델 구조와 제안하는 모델에 대한 수학적 형식론, 마지막으로 모델 실행을 위한 시뮬레이션 알고리즘을 제안한다. 사례 연구로 어뢰의 표적 추적 시나리오에 대한 기초 실험을 수행하였고, 실험 결과 제안하는 기법을 사용한 경우 기존의 시뮬레이션과 비교하여 최대 4.24배의 시뮬레이션 성능 향상을 보임을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 M&S 기반의 시스템 분석을 하는 다양한 분야에서 활용될 수 있음을 기대한다. This paper presents multi-fidelity modeling and simulation (M&S) methodology to enhance simulation performance of engineering-level defense models. In this approach, a set of models with varying degrees of fidelity is exercised to reduce computational expense maintaining a similar level of system effectiveness. For multi-fidelity M&S principles, this paper defines model fidelity from two perspectives (i.e., model behavior and execution), and suggests the Fidelity Change Point (FCP) to specify the fidelity conversion. With these concepts, this paper centers on three ideas: 1) two models' structure which are the Behavioral-Fidelity Interchangeable Model (B-FIM) and the Executional-Fidelity Interchangeable Model (E-FIM), 2) modeling formalism, and 3) a simulation algorithm to support them. From an abstract case study regarding a target tracking scenario with the utilization of the proposed method, we can gain interesting experimental results regarding the enhancement of simulation performance. Finally, we expect that this work will serve various M&S-based analysis areas for enhancing simulation performance.

Forging products, which are used for power plants and ships, are made by a mold casting process and manufactured as a desired size and shape by repeating heating and open-die forging processes. Temperatures of a workpiece are important because they determine flow stress. An experiment to measure temperatures of an ingot has been conducted and the results are compared with that of a three dimensional heat transfer analysis considering gas radiation in the furnace. Surface temperatures of a workpiece during a forging process also have been measured using a pyrometer. A program is developed to predict temperatures of a workpiece from the casting to the final forging process. It is shown that a phase transformation, which involves energy change, induces a sudden increase of temperature at the center of an ingot. It is also revealed that temperature at the center of a workpiece may decrease in the beginning time of reheating processes.

The plaza(square) is a major physical space that constitutes cityscapes and an important public space as a place of public life for citizens. In the past, the plaza(square) was a space for community among people, but it functions as collective space now. The plaza(square) has a different character and form depending on what it is related to. Past plazas(squares) can be categorized as; the road-crossing, the front, the courtyard, the street type. Contemporary plaza(square) can be categorized as; the variation of front, the variation of courtyard, the building combination, the connection type. In the past, the shape of the plaza(square) and the main function were fixed, but now it has become very diverse. The changes in the landscape can be summarized largely by changes in media, senses, and multi-layered.
게잡이 원숭이에 있어 rHuEPO(HM10760)의 단회 투여 후 혈액학 및 혈액생화학적 변화

Changes in hematology and serum biochemistry after treatment of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO, HM10760) were screened in 4 male cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). Four monkeys, composed of a treatment group of HM10760 and a positive control group of Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP>, were subcutaneously administered at same dose of 100 ㎍/㎏. Both groups did not show any change in body weights and food consumption for 4 weeks compared with those of pretreatment. Both groups did not show any change in total leukocyte count (WBC) and platelet count, while both groups showed increased platelet distribution width (PDW) percentage in HM10760 group during a period from day 5 to day 59 and in Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP> group during a period from day 9 to day 26. Both groups showed increases in red blood cells (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), and hematocrit (HCT) approximately 10 days after treatment compared with those of pretreatment (day 0). The increased levels of RBC, HGB, and HCT were much higher in HM10760 than in Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP> by the increases of 3.2%~ 12.5% for RBC, 3.8%~17.1% for HCT, and 1.85%~11% for HGB. Both groups showed increases in red cells distribution width (RDW) and reticulocyte (RET) compared with those of pretreatment, showing the highest peak from day 9. The increased level of RET lasted up to day 14 in Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP> group, while it lasted up to day 23 in HM10760 group. The increased level of RDW lasted up to day 59, it was much higher in HM10760 by the increase of 10.1%~17.6% than in Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP> group. In serum biochemistry, both groups showed a decrease in chloride level compared with those of pretreatment. These findings indicated that HM10760 increased RBC, HGB, HCT, RDW, and RET compared with those of pretreatment, and the increased levels were much higher in HM10760 than in Aranesp<SUP>®</SUP>.
