콘쥬게이트 첨가반응은 전자 결핍 상태의 이중결합 또는 삼중결합에 대해 친핵체가 첨가되는 반응으로 보통의 이중결합 또는 삼중 결합이 가지는 친전자성 첨가반응과는 반응 기전적으로 상이한 특성을 가진다. 이 반응은 베타 위치가 치환된 다양한 카르보닐 또는 카르복실릭 화합물들을 제공하므로 유기합성에서 매우 중요한 반응으로 자리잡고 있다. 특히 질소를 친핵체로 사용할 경우, 중요한 약리적, 생리학적 특성을 나타내는 베타 아미노산을 얻을 수 있으므로 이 부분에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 이러한 약리적, 생리학적 특성을 보이기 위해서는 생성물이 광학 활성을 나타내야 하는 경우가 많으므로 비대칭 콘쥬게이트 첨가반응에 대한 연구가 최근 광범위하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비대칭 콘쥬게이트 첨가반응에 대한 최근 연구를 부분입체선택적(Diastereoselective)인 방법과 거울상선택적(Enantioselective)인 관점에서 알아보고자 한다.

Facial synthetic methods for the preparation of modifided salene ligands were introduced. Diphenyldiamine were reacted with oanisaldehyde to give imine, which was eventually rearranged via 3,3-sigmatropic rearrangement reaction to another imine to afford salene ligand. Another approach to salene ligand was made with a help of multi-components reaction. A mixture of several aromatic aldehydes and ammonium acetate afforded one major product which showed salene type ligands under multi-components reaction conditions.

Recently, our laboratories have examined a wide verity of higher plants to discover anti-allergic substance from natural products. An effective anti-allergic substance PD-2 has been extracted from Pinus Densiflora. Ethylacetate extract from Pinus Densiflora showed effective anti-allergic activity by PCA method. Continuous separation gave a single pure compound which was identified as catechin-1-O-β-D-glucose by NMR technique. Extraction methods and chemical identification by NMR will be discussed in details.

3,4-O-isoprophlidene-D-arabinopyranose (5), which can be prepared from D-arabinose by acetonation reaction, underwent Wittig reaction to give cis : trans (4 : 1) mixture of sugar enonate as a cis major. The cis-enonate eventually was transformed to chiral sugar lactone (11) which could be used as a chiral building block. This paper provides an facile, efficient route to chiral sugar lactones which have many functional groups with rigidity, permitting application to various chemical transformations with chirality transfer.

Several new drugs for the treatment of asthama have been developed based on different pharmacological mechanism. The leukotrienes, especially leukotriene D₄ (LTD₄), are important bronchoconstrictors which are believed to play a key role in human asthama. Leukotriene D₄ (LTD₄) antagonists have been considered as the most promising new antiasthmatic drugs. The structure identification and total synthesis of leukotriene prompted many pharmaceutical compounds to develop leukotriene antagonists as potential anti asthmatic agents. Several companies have been searching for potent and selective antagonists of leukotrienes for the potential therapeutic use in treatment of asthma. Synthetic trends in new and more potent antiasthmatic leukotriene D₄ (LTD₄) antagonists will be discussed in this paper.

Authors synthesized common intermediates which are applicable for potential antibiotics. Their complete 13C and 1H NMR chemical shift data as well as carbon- and proton-fluorine coupling constants are reported. The knowledge of proton- and carbon-fluorine coupling constants may help one assign the NMR data of the fluorinated quinolone derivatives. These results agree with the data published previously. 영어논문
