Recurrent pyogenic cholangitis is characterized clinically by recurrent attacks of right upper abdominal pain, fever and jaundice, and pathologically by chronic inflammation of the bile ducts with or without pigment bile duct stones. We analyzed the CT findings of 33 cases with recurrent pyogenic cholangitis. Twenty-four cases were confirmed by operation, and 9 cases were diagnosed clinically and cholangiographically. The CT findings of recurrent pyogenic cholangitis were dilatation of the intrahepatic ducts(n=30), dilataton of the extrahepatic ducts(n=24), intrahepatic stones(n=16), extrahepatic stones(n=12), stricture of the bile ducts(n=10), wall enhancement of the bile ducts(n=8), gallastones(n=8), segmental atrophy of the liver(n=7), pneumobilia(n=4), pneumobila(n=4), abscess(n=3), and segmental enhancement(n=1) of the liver. A CT is considered helpful when sectional imaging is needed, but sonographic findings are equivocal or not confirmative; space-occupying lesions complicated with recurrent pyogenic cholangitis: hepatic resection is planned; and imaging guidance is needed for complex drainage procedures.
Achievement and prospect of the PAL-XFEL

The PAL-XFEL has demonstrated excellent timing stability and unprecedented peak brightness since its start of user service operation in June 2017. The 18-fs timing stability in the XFEL allows excellent pump-probe time-resolved experiments with low timing jitter. A self-seeding scheme enables us to produce a higher peak brightness of the XFEL with a narrow bandwidth. The plans for improving the capability of the PAL-XFEL as a user facility have been studied. The 2nd hard X-ray FEL line was designed to double the hard X-ray user’s beamtime, and polarization tunability will be implemented in the soft X-ray FEL line. It will allow more users to experience new science.
자기공명영상을 이용한 악성 근골격계 종양의 병기결정 : 가토 VX-2 Carcinoma를 이용한 실험적 연구

To evaluate the reliability of MR imaging in tissue characterization and depiction of tumor boundaries, we performed MR-pathologic correlation using parosteally implanted VX-2 carcinoma in 17 rabbit thighs. T1-weighted, T2-weighted and Gd-DTPA enhanced T1-weighted axial images were obtained 10-30 days after tumor implantation. After the animals were killed, frozen and sectioned along the MR imaging planes, and histopathologic examinaton were done, For accurate MR-pathologic correlation, rabbits were fixed on the cardboard plate to minimize position change during the procedures. Tumor boundaries depicted on MR images were larger than those depicted on the specimen. Small tumors were surrounded by capsule-like loose connective tissue. Loose connective tissue became compact with tumor growth. This connective tissue showed high signal intensity on both T2-weighted and Gd-DTPA enhanced T1-weighted images. Muscle atrophy with fatty tissue accumulation around the tumor also contributed to the high signal intensity on MR images. Peritumoral edema and inflammatory reaction were not remarkable. Six of 8 cases with bone marrow fibrosis were detected on MR images. We concluded that peritumoral loose connective tissue and muscle atrophy exaggerated the size of experimentally induced malignant musculoskeletal tumors on MR images.
Distributed System에서의 Deadlock 감지

In this paper, we present the method of deadlock detection in distributed system. For this, we build up the system model and describe the deadlock with the aid of wait-for graph. Then we present the method of maintaining these wait-for graph in distributed system and detecting the deadlock.
MOSE : Module-Oriented Structure-Editor

Design phase에서 부터 maintenance를 고려하여 작성된 program을 maintenance하는 것은 그렇치 않은 program을 maintenance하는 것보다 훨씬 쉽다. 이러한 program은 traceability가 크며 따라서 maintainability도 크기 때문이다. 그러므로 traceability을 높이기 위한 tool이 design phase와 maintenance phase에서 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 maintenance를 고려한 설계방법으로서 MOSE(Module-Oriented Structure-Editor)를 소개하는 데 MOSE는 각각의 module과 module interconnection을 설계의 주요 관점으로 삼는다. MOSE는 tracability를 크게하기 위해 intermediate module의 개념을 도입하였다. Intermediate module은 상위 module과 하위 module간의 interface역할만 하는 module로서 software 전체의 module hierarchy를 이해하는 데 도움을 주며 또한 maintenance phase에서의 design phase에 대한 추적을 가능케 하여 system확장을 용이하게 한다. This paper presents Module-Oriented Structure-Editor(MOSE) which provides a design approach to aid maintenance which describes the design in terms of modules and the interconnections of those modules. With modules interconnections as the focal point of the design and documentation, the system maintainer can more readily judge the possible effect of change. MOSE introduces intermediate module which increases the tracability. Intermediate module is only the interface between high-level module and low-level modules, helps to understand the module hierarchy of the software system and makes the system maintenance easy by increasing the traceability.
