This study was conducted to investigate the antimicrobial activity and antioxidant activity of six strains of S. aureus, P. acnes, B. sutilis, P. aeruginosa and P. ovale using finger root ethanol extracts. It is aimed to provide the basic data of this field by grasping the possibility of utilizing it as a skin cosmetic or cosmetic related product material. Antimicrobial activity of Finger root ethanol extracts against S. aureus, P. acnes, B. subtilis, P. aeruginosa and P. ovale except was observed. In particular, P. acnes and P. ovale produced 14 and 16 mm of the same clear zones at 0.5 mg / ml and 2.5 mg / ml, respectively, At 10 mg / ml, clear zones were formed at 20 mm and 24 mm which were significantly larger than those of other microorganisms. In the DPPH radical scavenging experiment. At 10 mg / ml, 95.7% of free radicals were cleared, indicating high antioxidant activity. In the ABTS radical scavenging experiment, the sample concentration was increased to 0.5 ~ 1 mg / ml, and 51.4 ~ 55.3% of free radicals were erased and showed antioxidant activity like DPPH radical scavenging ability. Therefore, P. ovale antimicrobial activity and antioxidant activity were proved, and a shampoo was prepared using finger root extract to utilize it as a scalp and hair product. After using the prepared shampoo, The satisfaction of scalp cleaning level of 15 experimental groups was measured and it was measured on a 5 point scale. The average result was 3.60 points. In conclusion, it could be used as a cosmetic material related to acne and dandruff of finger root extract.

This paper deals with in-process recognition of chip formation in trurning. According to the demand of high-efficiency in cutting process, the importance of chip problem has been raised, and so it is important of cutting force, and the in-process detection of the chip formation is one of the most important technologies in completely automatic operation of cutting process. As a result, the following conclusion can be drown. 1. In turning, the dynamic component of cutting force through the band pass filter(80-500HZ) reflects the broken condition of chip accurately, and its wavy pattern has periodicity. 2. The dynamic component of cutting force in broken type is bigger than that of continuous type. 3. After judging from whether the chip in real on-line condition had been broken or not, with the threshold obtained from the experiment. The on-line system was well recognizing the continuous type and broken type.

Vehicles and UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle) need a variety of road informations, such as road profile, soil type and soil water contents, to run a cross country course. Especially, soil water contents are very important factor to judge the vehicle mobility, because it can change soil strength. This paper describes the real-time measuring method of soil water contents by using the soil thermal conductivity.
