홀로그램 매체를 활용한 광고의 시각인지도에 관한 연구

A hologram is a three-dimensional image reproduced from a pattern of interference produced by a split coherent beam of radiation. Therefore not only can it express the three dimensional properties of the object, but because of it ability to show the depth and spatial properties of the object holograms may be a more effective tool in advertising for its visual appeal.This study presents "hologram"a three dimensional stereo imaging, as the expression technique in advertising of the next generation, and with proper understanding of "hologram" and of all its potential applications discusses opportunities for advertisements that are distinct from the multi media advertisements of today. The basic concept of Holograms and their application methods were presented in the thesis, and by using Sales Promotion advertisement as example, discussed what elements are required in order to produce an effective advertisement using holograms. 일반인들이 "3차원입체영상"이라고 알고있는 홀로그램은 1947년 데니스가보(D.Gabor)가 최초로 발견한 빛의 정보를 기록할 수 있는 특징을 가진 새로운 매체이다. 홀로그램은 물체에서 나오는 두 가지 파장의 간섭결과로서 이룩되는 간섭무늬를 기록하는 것으로 물체의 입체감 표현뿐만 아니라 빛과 공간 조형의 표현이 가능하기 때문에 시각적으로 한층 더 나은 결과를 기대할 수 있다. 홀로그램과 광고의 접목을 가정하여 기존광고매체와 홀로그램광고매체의 시각인지도를 측정 분석하여 홀로그램 광고는 기본방식의 광고보다 시각적 인지도가 높을 것인가에 대하여 알아보고, 하이테크 시대에 부합하는 새로운 광고매체로서, 홀로그램이 소비자에게 시각적으로 주의와 흥미를 유발하는데 우수하여 제 3의 시각적 광고매체의 형태로 발전 가능성이 있는지에 대하여 알아본다.

Radiological Analysis of Ponticulus Posticus in Koreans

Purpose: Since there has been little reporting on the prevalence or morphologic characteristics of ponticulus posticus in Asians, we retrospectively reviewed cervical 3-dimensional CT scan images and plain radiographs which had been ordered by neurosurgeons or orthopaedic surgeons for evaluation of cervical spine problems to investigate the prevalence and morphologic features of the ponticulus posticus in Koreans. Patients and Methods: The presence and types of ponticulus posticus were investigated on 200 consecutive cervical 3-D CT scans. Results: Thirty-one patients, 48 ponticulus posticus, complete or partial, bilateral or unilateral, were identified on the 200 cervical 3-D CT scans; therefore, the prevalence was 15.5% in our patient population. In plain radiographs analysis, the prevalence was 6.95%. Conclusion: The ponticulus posticus is a relatively common anomaly in Koreans. Therefore, proper identification of this anomaly on preoperative lateral radiographs should alert surgeons to avoid using the ponticulus posticus as a starting point for a lateral mass screw. Because of its size and shape have wide variation, 3-D CT scanning should be considered before lateral mass screw placement into the posterior arch if its presence is suspected or confirmed on radiographs.

The Change of Range of Motion at Anterior Compression of the Cervical Cord after Laminoplasty in Patients with Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy

Objective: Degenerative diseases of the spine, such as cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM), are increasing among the old age population, and surgical treatment of CSM is becoming more and more common. The aim of this study was to investigate how functional recovery can be influenced by anterior compression of the spinal cord (ACS) after laminoplasty for treatment of patients with CSM. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 32 patients admitted to Ewha Womans Mok-Dong Hospital with CSM who underwent open-door laminoplasty from January 2012 to December 2014. We divided patients into 2 groups according to whether ACS was or not preoperatively. Each group was analyzed clinical and radiological parameters which were Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA) scores and its recovery rate, sagittal alignment and range of motion (ROM). Results: The mean duration of symptom was 11.2 months (range, 6-22 months). A significant difference in recovery rate of the total JOA score was shown between the 2 groups, especially upper extremity motor function. No difference in preoperative JOA score between the 2 groups, but recovery rate of each group was 20.05%±18.1%, 32.21%±25.4%, statistically significant(p<0.005). Upper motor and sensory function was not significantly different in the 2 groups. Preoperative, postoperative and preservation of ROM was 44.3°±10.1°, 41.8°±15.7°, 87.9%±35.4% each at ACS (-) group. A significant difference in postoperative ROM was identified between ACS (-) and ACS (+) group. Postoperative anterior compression of the spinal cord was recognized 14 cases which were classified from its causes. Conclusion: Cervical ROM decreased significantly after laminoplasty, but 85.3% of the preoperative ROM was preserved. The postoperative reduction of ROM in group with anterior compression of spinal cord was identified.

 Abstract The Pursuit of Identity in Eugene O’Neill’s Plays Cho, Yong-Jae (Wonkwang University) Despite the material richness and comfort brought by science, which appears as a New God, modern man has lost not only his faith and sense of belonging, which once were the concomitants of his primitive oneness, but also his true self and identity. One of the most important themes in Eugene O’Neill’s plays is a problem of “identity.” His characters, through the struggle against “Force behind,” which means “fate,” try to achieve the pursuit of identity to overcome their alienation and frustration in their lives. We can find our true self and identity by the struggle against “fate” as well as the acceptance of the absurdity of the human condition. This paper studied The Hairy Ape and All God’s Chillun Got Wings by O’Neill. Yank of the former finds his true self and identity through his death in a gorilla cage while Jim of the latter, through his failure of a lawyer examination and the sacrifice of Congo mask. Eugene O'Neill, from the beginning of his career, attempted to transmit his practical experiences into his plays. When we consider his plays in relation to his life, they are autobiographic and symbolic and suggest his continuing search for salvation in a spiritual sense. His autobiographic plays such as Desire Under the Elms, unconscious autobiography and Long Day's Journey into Night, conscious one are the understanding of his own life and of his inner self and the expression of his unresolved inner conflicts. Through them he endeavored to find the oneness and the sense of belonging of his family, and an affirmative and reliable answer. Both the self-realization through the acceptance of reality and the transcendence through the reflection of the past are a true salvation expressed in Desire Under the Elms and Long Day's Journey into Night. For the people in O'Neill's plays who, having lost God, have no way to belong, pity, comprehension, and love are absolutely necessary to get ‘salvation.’
