        급성 일산화탄소 중독 환자의 국소 뇌 포도당 대사저하 1예

        Bilateral globus pallidus lesions can cause lack of motivation, apathy and abulia. These behavioral changes may be caused by the disruption of cortico-striato-pallidal thalamic circuits. We experienced a 49-yr-old female patient with bilateral globus pallidus lesions that resulted from acute carbon monoxide intoxication. Her brain [18F]fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose positron emission tomography showed regional blood glucose hypometabolism. These changes may reflect the disruption of cortico-striato-pallidal thalamic circuits.

        Numerical Study of the Mixing Characteristics for Rotating and Oscillating Stirrers in a Microchannel

        The mixing effect was studied numerically by calculating the flows driven by rotating and oscillating stirrers in a microchannel. The D2Q9 lattice Boltzmann method was used due to the merits of the calculation for an unsteady flow with a moving boundary. Within the range of Reynolds numbers from 10 to 80, the concentration distributions for different stirring speeds of the stirrer were investigated and the physical mixing characteristics were illustrated for both the rotating and oscillating stirrers. In this paper, a new time-averaged mixing index formula, .DI = 1 T PT t=1q1 N PN i=1(Ci.Cmean Cmean )2, is presented for use in evaluating the mixing rate for periodic, unsteady flows, instead of the conventional one for steady flows. From the variation of the calculated .DI , critical values for the stirring speed, which have a maximum mixing efficiency, were found to exist. In addition, the oscillating stirrer was found to have a better mixing efficiency than the rotating stirrer at the critical stirring speed for each Reynolds number.

        팀기반 앙트러프러너 양성프로그램 설계원리 개발연구: 협동조합 구성원을 중심으로

        연구목적: 본 연구는 협동조합 구성원을 위한 팀기반 앙트러프러너(teampreneur) 양성 프로그램의 설계원리를 개발하는 것이다. 연구방법: 먼저 프로그램의 핵심가치와 설계원리를 도출하고, 전문가 형성평가를 통한 타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 개발연구의 절차를 따르되 세부적으로 문헌 및 사례분석을 통하여 설계원리의 초안을 개발하고, 타당도를 확보하기 위하여 전문가 형성평가를 통해 수정·보완하여 최종의 프로그램 설계원리를 도출하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 팀기반 앙트러프러너 양성 프로그램의 핵심가치가 도출되었다. 둘째, 프로그램 설계원리는 세 가지의 범주와 13가지 설계원리 초안이 도출되었다. 셋째, 전문가 형성평가를 통해 최종의 프로그램의 설계원리를 도출하였다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구는 협동조합 구성원뿐만 아니라 다양한 교육현장에서 팀기반 앙트러프러너십 교육프로그램을 적용하여 실효성을 기대할 수 있다. 아울러 팀 활동을 전제로 하여 개발되었으므로 점차 늘어나고 있는 팀 기반 앙트러프러너십 역량강화 교육에도 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop the design principle of the team based entrepreneur education program for cooperative members. In order to achieve this goal, the research task is to first derive the core values of the program for cooperative members, and then derive the design principles of the program to conduct validity verification. Method: In order to carry out the research, the overall design process was followed, but according to the research procedure, a draft of the design principle was devised through the literature and case studies. In addition, in order to secure validity, after receiving an expert formation evaluation, it was amended and supplemented to develop the final design principle of the program. Results: First, cooperatives should pursue social values and members should pursue them. Second, we must have a spirit of service and a sense of mission to our members. Third, we must become experts who acquire knowledge and know how to use it. Fourth, cooperatives must also do their best to generate profits because they must also achieve economic value. Fifth, it is necessary to cultivate cooperative relationship-building skills by trusting and relying on each other. Sixth, it develops the ability to solve problems through communication with various people through team-based interaction. Seventh, it is necessary to take an interest in and consider the thoughts and values of other members with the attitude of listening. Eighth, set goals so that the actions the team seeks are aligned with the organization's priorities and goals. Ninth, the ability to solve problems through a change of ideas with a challenging spirit is required. Tenth, learning that leads to practice is necessary and social change can be pursued through this. Eleventh, in order to achieve business goals, each person needs to plan and try to learn to improve his/her own abilities. Twelfth, despite the ordinary, there is always a need to approach with a new perspective with a sense of problem. Thirteenth, we must develop our ability to overcome difficulties through innovation in a rapidly changing society. Conclusions and Suggestions: The results of this study can be used as a guideline for an entrepreneurship education program for cooperative members. In addition, because it was developed based on team activities, it is expected to contribute to strengthening the capacity of the expanding team unit.

        대뇌정맥혈관종에 의한 비출혈 정맥경색

        Venous angioma is normally asymptomatic, but it can present with clinical presentations such as seizures, headache, and focal neurological deficits. Brain hemorrhage is known to be the most common complication, with nonhemorrhagic brain infarction due to venous angioma being very rare. We report the first case of supratentorial venous angioma complicated by nonhemorrhagic venous infarction. This case occurred in a 49-year-old female, and was confirmed by magnetic resonance (MR) imaging including contrast-enhanced MR venography and perfusion imaging.

        Numerical investigation of a pump-jet with ring rotor using an unstructured mesh technique

        In the present study, the hydrodynamic characteristics of a pump-jet were numerically investigated using an incompressible RANSflow solver based on pseudo-compressibility. The focus of the study is the assessment of the flow characteristics and performance, particularlyof a ring rotor with the rotor blades interconnected with a circumferential ring at the tip. For this purpose, a vertex-centered finite-volume method on unstructured meshes was used in conjunction with second-order Roe’s FDS to discretize the inviscid fluxes,while the viscous fluxes were computed based on central differencing. For the unsteady time integration, a dual-time stepping methodand the Gauss-Seidel iteration were employed. An unstructured overset mesh technique was adopted to treat the relative motion betweenthe rotor and the main body of the pump-jet. For the closure of turbulence, the Spalart-Allmaras one equation model was employed. Tovalidate the flow solver, the calculations were initially made for the High Reynolds number pump (HIREP) configuration at several advancingratios. Reasonable agreements were obtained between the present results and the experiment in terms of the pressure coefficienton the blade surface, velocity distribution, and integrated blade loadings. To investigate the effect of the ring on the flow characteristicsand propulsion performance of the pump-jet, additional calculations were made for the HIREP configuration installed with the circumferentialring at the rotor blade tip, and the results were compared with those of the original HIREP configuration. The addition of thering at the blade tip helped reduce the tip vortex strength, which might be beneficial in suppressing the formation of water vapor. Furthermore,the cavitation performance on the suction surface of the rotor blades was degraded by the reduced axial velocity because of thepassage area reduction after the ring was attached. With the addition of the ring, the blade loadings of the pump-jet, such as the thrust andtorque, were reduced even though the efficiency, defined as the ratio of thrust and torque, was maintained.

        The effects of catalysts type in catalytic wet air oxidation of phenol using Pt/Al₂O₃ catalysts was studied in a batch reactor. The powdered catalyst was higher than pellet type catalyst in the removal of phenol. The effect of oxygen pressure was marginal above 180psi in the catalytic wet oxidation of phenol using powdered catalyst at 130℃. In the case of powdered catalyst, reaction order was first as a function of initial concentration of oxidation rate, whereas pellet type catalyst was not. The removal of phenol was most effective at pH 11 in both of catalysts.
