The sensitive data within multievel database are shared by users who have different clearance levels, and in the case of multilevel database which has different classification levels the solutions for multilevel query processsing problems are still unsatisfactory for its users. In this study, I propose MLQP(Multilevel Query Processor) to process multilevel query effectively, which consists of user identification control module, level scheduler module and multilevel query processor module. MLQP provides integrated multievel query processing and management functions with basic CDBMS for the sensitive data. Our MLQP model can provide mandatory security for the applied fields which need high level assurance as well as provide solutions for multilevel query processing problems.

As the need of automatized system has been increased recently together with the development of industrial and military technologies, the adaptive real-time target detection technologies that can be embedded on vehicles, planes, ships, robots and so on, are hgihly demanded. Accordingly, this paper proposes a novel approach to detect and segment the moving targets using the binary phase extraction joint transform correlator (BPEJTC), the advanced image subtraction filter and convex hull processing. The BPEJTC which was used as a target detection unit mainly for target tracking compensating the camera movement. The target region has been detected by processing the successful three frames using the advanced image subtraction filter, and has become more accurate by applying the developed convex hull filter. As shown by some experimental results, it is expected that the proposed approaches for compensation of the camera movement and segmentationof of target region, can be used for th emissile guiddance, aero surveillance, automatic inspectin system as well as the target detection unit of automatic target recognition system that request adaptive real-time processing.

Many formal description techniques have been developed to specify remote communication services which play a role of bridge in a highly developed information society. The transformation tools turn up to specify communication services more efficiently by connecting various formal description techniques. In this paper, we propose an EFSM (extended finite state machine), which is simple and easy to understand, instead of SDL/GR (specification and description language/graphical representation) which the more detailed, the less readable. We propose twelve transformation rules to transform EFSM into SDL/GR, a language-oriented model, and then we can increase productivity by using the automatic transformation tool executing twelve transformation rules.

In this paper, an effective overload control method is proposed for a feature control professor(FCP) in IMT-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications) System and processor utilization is measured. The proposed overload control method can regulate the call attempts by adopting measured processor utilization. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm yields better performance than conventional algorithm does under the heavy transient overload status in terms of call admission rate.

This paper is to propose an efficient and reliable control procedure of Base Station Controller of mobile communication system for bulk input messages which was delivered instantaneously. We divided the input messages that are processed by the base station controller of the mobile communication system into two things ; they are messages related to call connection and o&m(operation and maintenance). In addition, we analyzed the properties of the input messages and then performed computer simulation on each input message by using M/M/1/K queueing model in term of the following viewpoints : the loss probability of input messages, the average queue length, the utilization of process controller(server),the average waiting time in queue. And we compared the performance of the two input messages in the overload controlling which was caused by the congested input messages.

In this paper, we propose a control model which can control the burst input messages of the BSC(Base Station Controller) in mobile communication systems more efficiently and reliably, by dividing the input messages characteristically and using multiprocessor system. Using M/M/c/K queueing model, we briefly analyze proposed model to get characteristic parameters which are required to performance improvement. On the base of the results, we compare our proposed model with the conventional one by using SLAM II with regard to the following factors : the call blocking rate of the input message, the distribution of average queue length, the utilization of process controller(server), and the distribution of average waiting time in queue. In addition, we modified our model which has overload control function for burst input messages, and analyzed its performance.
