        약제내성과 종양세포크기의 다양성

        Drug resistance of P 815 mouse tumor cells after various drug treatment were studied "by scoring the changes of cell sizes. Percent of cells with abnormal large cell size (larger than 15㎛. in diameter) increased by treatment of anticancer drugs. When the cells were treated with adriamycin, cells larger than 15㎛ in diameter were observed at second day post-treatment and the percent of larger cells reached maximum at 9th day post-treatment. Similar trends were observed following the treatment with cisplatin, 5-Fu, or methotrexate. Inverse relationship between survival of tumor cell population and percent distribution of large cells was observed when cisplatin was treated. Thus it was suggested that co-existence of abnormal large cells and cells in original size in the tumor cell population after drug treatment might be a key to determine that the cell line is resistant which thereby indication for next drug of choice.

        소집단 협동학습이 수학교과의 성취도에 미치는 영향

        고등학교에서 학급간 이동식 수업형태가 아닌 학급내 소집단 협동학습이 수학교과 성취도에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 비교분석을 위하여 반 단위로 일제식 수업 집단, 성취도 수준별 소집단 협동학습 집단, 자기조절학습능력에 따른 소집단 협동학습 집단으로 구분하여 교육을 실시하였다. 자기조절학습능력에 따른 소집단 구분을 위하여 군집분석을 사용하였고 실험 전후에 사전 성취도와 사후 성취도 조사를 수행하여 분산분석과 공변량분석으로 비교하였다. 수업형태에 따른 교육효과도 분석하였다. 분석결과 소집단 협동학습의 효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. This paper focuses on the effect of in-class cooperation learning for achievement in Mathematics for high school students without moving to another changing classroom in a small school. We applied three learning methods to three classes; the traditional uniformly teacher-driven teaching method for the first class, the level-based small-group cooperation learning method for the second class and the small groups using the self-regulation learning ability for the third class. For the third class, students were divided into five small groups by the cluster analysis using their results of self-regulation learning ability test, which were offered by Korea Institute of Curriculum. The ANOVA, ANCOVA and some statistical techniques are applied to the comparison and to analysis the scores of pre and post examination. As a result, the cooperative learning of small groups by scholastic achievement showed a meaningful improvement in scholastic achievement compared to the traditional teaching method.

      • S-218 : Three cases of anomalous origin of a right coronary artery underwent coronary artery bypass graft

        Congenital coronary artery anomalies have an incidence of 1-2% in patients undergoing coronary artery catheterization and it has received much attention due to its association with sudden cardiac death (SCD). Besides, researchers have related angina, dyspnea, syncope, acute myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac death to coronary anomalies. But the diagnosis and pathophysiology for coronary anomalies are not well understood, treatment guideline and prognosis of abnormal coronary anatomy also tend to be unsubstantiated. There were debates on conservative medical treatment and surgical management. Currently, Surgery as the primary treatment strategy has been promising. Case: We recently treated three patients who were found to be carriers of Anomalous origination of a right coronary artery from the opposite sinus (ACAOS) and presented with severe clinical manifestations such as exertional typical chest pain. In the catheterization laboratory, we found coronary anomaly and additional cardiac 3DCT was taken before surgical management. Bypass grafting surgery was performed promptly. Post-operative prognosis was good without any clinical presentation or complications.

      • 유리단자용 무연(Pb-Free) 솔더 소재 및 공정 개발

        A new lead(Pb)-free solder material for automotive glass terminals is developed. In order to satisfy the regulation of EU ELV(End of Life Vehicle), the leaded solder in automotive glass should be replaced by lead-free solder. However, due to the unique property of the glass, it is easily broken with general electric lead-free solder material. As a result of the trying 120 types of solder material, we finally developed the excellent lead-free solder composition which has minimum Indium(In) contents. It is the optimized solder material against the wide range of thermal change environment. There is no glass crack with the developed lead-free solder. And it also shows good bonding strength enough to satisfy the automotive test standard.

      • 소형위성 탑재용 L-band 영상레이더 시스템 설계 및 PDDS Chirp 신호 발생기 개발

        영상레이더는 전천후로 광범위한 지역에 대해 영상 획득이 가능한 능동형 센서로서, 군수분야는 물론 민수분야의 과학 및 상업용으로 그 활용범위가 점차 확대되고 있다. 현재까지 영상레이더가 탑재된 위성들은 무게가 톤 급에 달하고, 개발 기간과 소요 경비가 상당하다. 따라서 소형위성에 영상레이더를 탑재하여 개발 기간 및 비용을 줄일 수 있는 소형 및 경량화에 대한 연구가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 소형위성용 L-band 영상레이더 시스템 설계 방안과 임무 및 요구조건을 만족하는 설계 변수를 도출하고, 영상레이더 시스템의 핵심기능을 담당하는 chirp 신호 발생기를 디지털 방식 중의 하나인 DDS로 설계하였다. SAR (synthetic aperture radar) is an active sensor that can obtain the high resolution images of a target regardless of the weather and light conditions. The applications of SAR are expanding such as military purpose and scientific or commercial purpose of civilian. Conventional satellite on-board SAR can weigh up to tons. Also It require a large amount of money and long time of development process. Therefore, the research on the minimization and light weight platform is essential to reduce the budget and the time cost of development of small satellite on-board SAR. This paper estimates design parameter that is suitable for mission, requirement, and L-band SAR system design for micro satellite and implements chirp signal generator that is core function of SAR system to DDS.

        Acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic lymphocytic leukemia in dogs

        An Australian cattle dog (case 1: 6-year-old castrated male) and a Shih-Tzu dog (case 2: 8-year-old castrated male) were referred to the Gyeongsang Animal Medical Center due to anorexia and depression. Physical examina- tions, complete blood counts, serum chemical analysis, radi- ography, ultrasonography, and bone marrow biopsy were performed. Upon physical examinations of cases 1 and 2, enlargement of superficial lymph nodes was not identified. Hematologic findings in these dogs included leukocytosis with severe lymphocytosis, anemia, and thrombocytopenia. Upon radiography, both dogs showed splenomegaly. Upon examination of a peripheral blood smear in case 1, imma- ture lymphoid cells, featuring decreased nuclear chromatin condensation and nuclear pleomorphism, were present. Biopsy samples of the bone marrow in case 1 revealed hypercellularity as well as a large number of immature lymphoblastic cells similar in shape to cells in the peripheral blood. The characteristic morphological features of periph- eral blood and bone marrow samples in case 2 were small lymphocytes. Thus, the dogs were tentatively diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), respectively. After diagnosis, the CLL patient was administered chlorambucil and pred- nisolone therapy. Due to its similarity to human leukemia, the canine leukemia model provides a valuable model for research into human leukemia.
