장애인을 위한 보조 공학 활용 실태 조사 : - 교사들의 인식 중심으로 -

장애학생을 위하여 효과적으로 교수․학습 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 교수․학습 측면에 국한하지 않고 학습 및 생활의 전반에 걸쳐 장애학생들이 가지고 있는 신체적․기능적 요구 대한 지원과 보상을 할 수 있는 보조공학 기기 및 서비스의 제공이 필수적이다. 그러나 우리나라의 특수교육현장의 보조 공학 기기 및 서비스 제공은 아직 미흡한 단계라고 할 수 있다. 특수교육의 질적인 발전을 도모할 수 있는 보조 공학 기기 및 서비스를 장애아동에게 제공해주기 위해서는 관련 인프라의 조성 및 구비가 필수적이며, 교육 서비스를 실제적으로 제공하고 있는 교사의 인식 조성이 수반이 반드시 이루어 져야 한다. 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 본 연구는 교사들이 가지고 있는 보조 공학에 대한 지식, 경험, 태도에 대하여 알아보았다. 보조 공학에 대한 지식에 대해서는 교사들은 제한적인 면을 보이고 있었다. 전반적으로 보조 공학 관련 지식과 중요성은 인지하고 있었으나, 보조 공학 기기의 종류에 대한 세부적인 지식은 극히 제한적이었다. 또한 보조 공학 사용 경험은 낮게 조사되었으며, 활용한 경험이 있다 하더라도 기기의 종류가 매우 제한적이었다. 그리고 보조 공학 관련 강좌 및 워크샵 등의 수강 및 참여 경험도 매우 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 보조 공학이 가지는 중요도 및 가치에 대한 조사에서는 교사들은 아주 긍정적으로 평가를 하였으며, 현재의 보조 공학의 환경 및 지원에 대해서는 미흡하다는 견해를 가지고 있었다. In the field of special education, various assistive technology(AT) services and devices, which include not only high technology but also low technology are being used for students with disabilities. Especially, Government has invested AT facilities in the special school and class for the qualitative improvement of special education since 1999. Also, the Government is making efforts to enhance the instructional quality by providing technology programs such as multimedia CD-Rom titles and web based instruction programs. Many teachers who are teaching students with disabilities know the necessity of AT in the classroom, but they have the lack of knowledge and experience in providing AT services and using AT devices with the appropriate application strategies. For the practical and appropriate application of AT services and devices to students, general and special teachers should have full knowledge and experience as well as good attitude to using AT. In this study, first, we briefly summarize the findings in our survey for knowledge, experience, and attitude of 134 general teachers and 67 special teachers about AT services and devices. Second, we discuss study advances about applying a functional approach to AT for effective using.

특수교육 분야에서는 이러닝을 통하여 장애학생 교육 서비스의 양적·질적 발전을 위한 다각적인 노력을 모색하고 있다. 그러나 특수교육 현장의 실제 활용 실태와 이와 관련된 구체적인 요구에 대한 기초연구가 부족하여 효과적인 이러닝 실행을 위한 지원 방향을 수립하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 특수학급 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 특수학급의 이러닝 관련 환경과 활용 실태를 탐색하였고, 특수학급구성원들이 가지고 있는 이러닝 실행과 관련된 요구를 밝혔으며, 이를 바탕으로 특수학급에서 이러닝을 효과적으로 운영하고 실행하기 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. E-learning is learning that utilizes contents crafted based on multimedia and hyper media via diverse information technologies. It enables teaching and learning to allow disabled students to utilize contents crafted with diverse latest techniques, thereby expanding the forum of learning. Thus, the special education area is making diverse efforts to achieve quantitative and qualitative development of educational services for disabled students through e-learning. However, since basic research is lacking with regard to the actual utilization status of e-learning and corresponding needs in special education, an appropriate support direction for performing e-learning cannot be determined. Against such a backdrop, this research surveyed the e-learning status and needs in special classes. Likewise, it surveyed the environment and utilization status of computers, software, and assistive technology that special classes in 'B' and 'D' city owned for e-learning. It also surveyed hardware and software requirements for effectively performing e-learning in special classes.
A Study on the Korea Teacher's Perception in Using Assistive Techonology

Background: It is a trend that the average life span is prolonged in proportion to the advance of socio-economy and medical science. Consequently, the number of elderly patients with skin diseases is increasing. Objective: This study was performed to see the change of patterns of skin diseases in elderly patients. Methods: One thousand four hundred and twenty elderly patients, over the age of 65, who visited the departments of dermatology and in five hospitals, from January 1, 1997 to December 31, 1997 were selected. We surveyed the frequeney of skin disease by types and the distributions by month, season and age. Results: The results were as follows; 1. The frequent skin diseases were herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia (12.3%), fungal infection (11.3%), pruritus (9.2%), contact dermatitis (6.8%), and seborrheic dermatitis (5.7%). 2. The most frequent was herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia in January, February, March, April, June, August and October, in January, July, September and December, fungal infection; in May, contact dermatitis; in November, pruritus. 3. The most frequent skin desease was herpes zoster and postherpetic nueralgia in spring, summer and winter; in autumn, fungal infection. 4. The most frequent skin disease for the 65-74 aged-group was herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia; for the over 85 aged group, herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia. Conclusion: The results showed that, in contrast to previous studies, herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia increased in elderly patients. These findings may be helpful for the government and medical centers to plan and establish a management system on the skin diseases of elderly patients.
