        How Household Roles Influence Individuals’ Travel Mode Choice under Intra-household Interactions?

        The household is usually an essential element for activity-based travel decision-making of individuals. From the perspective of household context, activities are often allocated to individuals based on their household roles, thereby affecting individuals’ travel behavior. By defining the household role using spatial-temporal constraints which are associated with individual activities and household activities, this paper investigates the travel mode choice of individuals considering the effect of different household roles. The descriptive statistics of the household roles and their corresponding travel mode choice are presented using the data from Kunming, China. The statistical results show that the modal splits between females and males perform a significant difference in the same household roles. Furthermore, the travel mode choice of females and males are estimated separately using multinomial logistic regression model. The results show that those who face more space-time constraints associated with household tasks are less willing to travel by car. While with the increase of commuting constraints, household heads, especially female-heads, tend to use car to meet the travel demands of household activity. Besides, individuals’ age, education level, the number of cars and bikes in household also have a significant impact on travel mode choices of individuals.

        A Gene Cluster for the Biosynthesis of Dibenzodioxocinons in the Endophyte Pestalotiopsis microspora, a Taxol Producer

        The fungal products dibenzodioxocinones promise a novel class of inhibitors against cholesterol ester transfer protein (CEPT). Knowledge as to their biosynthesis is scarce. In this report, we characterized four more dibenzodioxocinones, which along with a previously described member pestalotiollide B, delimit the dominant spectrum of secondary metabolites in P. microspora. Through mRNA-seq profiling in gα1Δ, a process that halts the production of the dibenzodioxocinones, a gene cluster harboring 21 genes including a polyketide synthase, designated as pks8, was defined. Disruption of genes in the cluster led to loss of the compounds, concluding the anticipated role in the biosynthesis of the chemicals. The biosynthetic route to dibenzodioxocinones was temporarily speculated. This study reveals the genetic basis underlying the biosynthesis of dibenzodioxocinone in fungi, and may facilitate the practice for yield improvement in the drug development arena.

        Research on Machining Deformation of 7050 Aluminum Alloy Aircraft Rib Forging

        T-type rib strip was the key connective component between the fuselage and wing of the aircraft and the main processes for preparation of T-type rib strip consisted of forging forming, solution quenching, cold pressing and machining. The variation of residual stress and its effect on the deformation during the final machining process was quite complex. In this study, the numerical models of solution quenching, cold pressing and machining of T-type rib strip was established. The variation of residual stress on the deformation of T-type rib strip was studied. The results show that the maximum quenching stress of the T-type rib was about − 200 MPa at the surface and 150 MPa in the core. A reduction of 60% of the average residual stress can be achieved during the cold pressing process with a reduction rate of 3% and a friction coefficient of 0.3. Compared with direct machining after quenching, the deformation of machining after solution quenching and cold pressing was greatly reduced and the reduction rate reached 65.04%.

        Genome-wide DNA methylation profiling in differentiating Crohn’s disease from intestinal tuberculosis

        Background: Differential diagnosis of Crohn's disease (CD) and intestinal tuberculosis (ITB) is still difficult in clinical pratice. DNA methylation has been considered as a favorable area for biomarker exploration and identification. Objective: The purpose of the current study was to evaluate DNA methylation changes between CD and ITB. Methods: We performed a genome-wide association study to identify differentially methylated positions (DMPs), including 8 CD patients (before the initial of biologics or immunomodulators), 6 ITB patients, and 8 healthy controls (HCs), in whole blood DNA using the Infinium HumanMethylation850 BeadChip. Results: Patients in the CD group and ITB group were all observed with hypo-methylated changes compared with HCs. However, the CD group overlaps with the ITB group in DNA methylation, suggesting a stable epigenetic profile between the two diseases. The pathway enrichment analysis showed the alternation in inflammation-related pathway, immune system, and signal transduction. Focused on the DMPs located in the promoter region, further analysis indicated hypermethylation of cg03122532 (5'UTR of KCNJ15) could be a potential CD-specific biomarker. Conclusions: We identified specific differential methylation loci related to CD and ITB in blood DNA. DNA metylation as a important epigenetic modification could contribute to the pathogenesis study and biomarker exploration of the diseases.

        Effects of Li2CO3 on the sintering behavior and piezoelectric properties of Bi2O3-excess (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 ceramics

        (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 ceramics doped with Li2CO3 and Bi2O3 as sintering aids were manufactured, and their micro structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated. All specimens could be well sintered at a low-temperature of 1080 ℃. The bulk density of the specimens doped with a small amount of Li2CO3 was enhanced. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of ceramics were investigated with different amounts of Li2CO3 substitutions. High electrical properties of d33 ¼ 167 pC/N,kp ¼ 0.34, Pr ¼ 40 mC/cm2 and Ec ¼ 38 kV/cm were obtained from the specimen containing 0.1 mol% of Li2CO3 sintered at 1080 ℃.

        Separation of isoflavone aglycones using chitosan microspheres from soy whey wastewater after foam fractionation and acidic hydrolysis

        The purpose of this work was to separate isoflavone aglycones from soy whey wastewater after foam fractionation and acidic hydrolysis using chitosan microspheres. The maximal equilibrium adsorption capacity could be obtained at pH 6.0. The adsorption isotherm fitted better to the Freundlich equation model and the adsorption was an exothermic and spontaneous physical process. The maximal desorption ratio of isoflavone aglycones could reach 94.82% by using 70% (v/v) ethanol as desorption solution. Moreover, the regenerated chitosan microspheres could be reused for separating isoflavone aglycones from the feeding solution up to five times without compromising their function.

        Hsa_Circ_0001947/MiR-661/DOK7 Axis Restrains Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Development

        Hsa_circ_0001947 is associated with multiple cancers, but its function in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is ambiguous and needs further research. The targeting relationship among circ_0001947, miR-661, and downstream of tyrosine kinase 7 (DOK7) was predicted by database and further verified by dual-luciferase reporter assay, while their expressions in cancer tissues and cells were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). After transfection, cell biological behaviors and expressions of miRNAs, miR-661 and DOK7 were determined by cell function experiments and qRT-PCR, respectively. Circ_0001947 was low-expressed in NSCLC tissues and cells. Circ_0001947 knockdown intensified cell viability and proliferation, induced cell cycle arrest at S phase, suppressed apoptosis and evidently enhanced miR-510, miR-587, miR-661 and miR-942 levels, while circ_0001947 overexpression did the opposite. MiR-661 was a target gene of circ_0001947 that participated in the regulation of circ_0001947 on cell biological behaviors. Furthermore, DOK7, the target gene of miR-661, partly participated in the regulation of miR-661 on cell viability. Hsa_circ_0001947 acts as a sponge of miR-661 to repress NSCLC development by elevating the expression of DOK7.

      • A Novel Approach for Microblog Message Ranking Based on Trust Model and Content Similarity

        With the development of social network such as microblog, the number of microblog users increases rapidly. The problem of information overload caused by a large amount of data generated by users is becoming more and more serious. In order to mine the messages which specific users are interested in, we measure social relationship and interactive relationship of users respectively in this paper and propose the trust model based on the user’s direct trust and indirect trust. By means of the trust model, we select the specific user’s candidate user set from a large number of users. We measure the content similarity of messages in the candidate user set and propose a message ranking approach based on user trust model and content similarity. We analyze and compare the ranking results with users’ real behavior in microblog platform. The experiment results show that the approach can accurately rank the microblog messages which the specific users are interested in.

        Co‑doped amorphous MoSx for efficient hydrogen evolution reaction in acid condition

        Amorphous molybdenum sulfide ( MoSx) has been regarded as a promising hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalyst due to its mild preparation conditions and low-cost precursor materials. In this work, we report a simple strategy combining the growth of amorphous MoSx on the surface of metal organic frameworks (ZIF-67) and annealing treatment to prepare Co-doped MoSx nanopolyhedrons (denoted as CoMoSx NPs). The CoMoSx NPs exhibit excellent HER activity in acid condition with an overpotential of 188 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm? 2 (η10), and a relatively stable overpotential after 2000 cyclic voltammetry (CV) cycles testing. The excellent HER performance of the CoMoSx NPs can be attributed to the doping of Co element adjust the electronic structure and increase the conductivity of catalyst, and the nanopolyhedrons structure which can expose more active sites for HER electrocatalytic. This study offers a low-cost and simple strategy to prepare high-activity HER catalyst, which holds great promises in developing advanced electrocatalysts for energy storage.

        Exogenous Sugars Involvement in Senescence and Ethylene Production of Tree Peony ‘Luoyang Hong’ Cut Flowers

        Sugars play important roles in petal senescence of cut flowers. In the Expt. 1 of this study, the effects of different concentrations of glucose (60, 90, and 120 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP>) and sucrose (30, 60, and 90 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP>) application on the vase life, rate of flower diameter increase, rate of flower weight increase and ethylene production of cut tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa ‘Luoyang Hong’) were evaluated. At the earlier stage, treatments of different concentrations of glucose and sucrose all retarded the process of flower opening and inhibited the increase of flower diameter and weight, while senescence of flowers fed with different concentrations of glucose was delayed at later stage. Flowers treated with 90 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP> glucose displayed the longest vase life, which showed significant difference (P < 0.05) from those of flowers with the control and sucrose treatments. All treatments with glucose or sucrose not only retarded the decrease of flower diameter and weight, but also suppressed the ethylene production at the earlier stage and delayed the peak of ethylene evolution. In order to study the effect of exogenous sugar on the postharvest response of cut tree peony to ethylene, Expt. 2 was conducted. Cut flowers were treated with 90 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP> glucose for 4 hours before (GE) or after (EG) exposed to 10 μL·L<SUP>-1</SUP> ethylene for 4 hours. Generally, the opening process of flowers with GE and EG treatments was similar to that of the control, however GE treatment delayed flower senescence. Both GE and EG treatments improved flower diameter and weight, and GE treatment delayed the time of flower weight decrease. Besides, GE delayed climacteric ethylene evolution for 8 hours. All above suggest that exogenous sugars delay tree peony ‘Luoyang Hong’ cut flower senescence and extend flower vase life through their roles in the decrease of water loss and the suppression of sensitivity to ethylene and ethylene production.
