        The Influence of AH-26 and Zinc Oxide-Eugenol Root Canal Sealer on the Shear Bond Strength of Composite Resin to Dentin

        AH-26 근관실러가 상아질에 대한 복합레진의 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 144개의 발거된 대구치를 실린더형의 몰드에 매식한 다음 치관부의 상아질 표면을 노출시킨 후 편평하게 연마하고 AH-26을 도포한 군, ZOE paste를 도포한 군 및 실러를 도포하지 않은 대조군으로 나누어 One-step 상아질 접착제를 처리한 후에 Charisma (Heraeus Kulzer, Germany) 복합레진을 적용하고 광중합시켰다. 시편을 분리하여 37℃ 항온조에 24시간 보관후 Instron test machine (Model 4202, Instron Corp., USA)을 이용하여 시편의 전단 결합 강도를 측정하고 one-way ANOVA 및 Tukey's studentized rank test로 통계 분석하였다. AH-26 근관실러로 처리한 군과 대조군은 ZOE 근관실러 처리군에 비해 유의하게 놓은 접착강도를 나타내었다 (p<0.05). AH-26 근관실러 처리군과 아무 처리하지 않은 대조군 사이에는 결합강도에 있어 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다 (p>0.05). 본 연구의 조건에서는 ZOE 근관실러는 상아질에 대한 복합레진의 전단결합강도를 저하시키는 반면 AH-26 근관실러는 유의한 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 보인다. 따라서 임상에서 근관실러로 AH-26을 사용한 근관충전 후에는 즉시 복합레진 코어를 해 주어도 결합력에 저해가 없을 것으로 여겨진다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of the AH-26 root canal sealer on the shear bond strength of composite resin to dentin. One hundred and forty four (144) extracted, sound human molars were used. After embedding in a cylindrical mold, the occlusal part of the anatomical crown was cut away and trimmed in order to create a flat dentin surface. The teeth were randomly divided into three groups; the AH-26 sealer was applied to the AH-26 group, and zinc-oxide eugenol (ZOE) paste was applied to the ZOE group. The dentin surface of the control group did not receive any sealer. A mount jig was placed against the surface of the teeth and the One-step dentin bonding agent was applied after acid etching. Charisma composite resin was packed into the mold and light cured. After polymerization, the alignment tube and mold were removed and the specimens were placed in distilled water at 37℃ for twenty four hours. The shear bond strength was measured by an Instron testing machine. The data for each group were subjected to one-way ANOVA and Tukey's studentized rank test so as to make comparisons between the groups. The AH-26 group and the control group showed significantly higher shear bond strength than the ZOE group (p<0.05). There were no significant differences between the AH-26 group and the control one (p>0.05). Under the conditions of this study, the AH-26 root canal sealer did not seem to affect the shear bond strength of the composite resin to dentin while the ZOE sealer did. Therefore, there may be no decrease in bond strength when the composite resin core is built up immediately after a canal filling with AH-26 as a root canal sealer.

        Efficient Interleukin-21 Production by Optimization of Codon and Signal Peptide in Chinese Hamster Ovarian Cells

        Interleukin-21 is a common γ-chain cytokine that controls the immune responses of B cells, T cells, and natural killer cells. Targeting IL-21 to strengthen the immune system is promising for the development of vaccines as well as anti-infection and anti-tumor therapies. However, the practical application of IL-21 is limited by the high production cost. In this study, we improved IL-21 production by codon optimization and selection of appropriate signal peptide in CHO-K1 cells. Codon-optimized or non-optimized human IL-21 was stably transfected into CHO-K1 cells. IL-21 expression was 10-fold higher for codon-optimized than non-optimized IL-21. We fused five different signal peptides to codon-optimized mature IL-21 and evaluated their effect on IL-21 production. The best result (a 3-fold increase) was obtained using a signal peptide derived from human azurocidin. Furthermore, codon-optimized IL-21 containing the azurocidin signal peptide promoted IFN-γ secretion and STAT3 phosphorylation in NK-92 cells similar to codon-optimized IL-21 containing original signal peptide. Collectively, these results indicate that codon optimization and azurocidin signal peptides provide an efficient approach for the high-level production of IL-21 as a biopharmaceutical.

      • 컴퓨터 그래픽을 이용한 실내 색채의 시각적 효과에 관한 연구 : 거실을 대상으로

        This study attemps to develop a tool to evaluate the color images and to analyze the visual effects of interior colors. For this purpose, the color models for living room using simulation method of computer graphics, as an evaluation tool, were developed and the experiment using them has been carried out to investigate the visual effects of interior colors based on 63 subject ratings. The color combination types for color models are composed according to principles of the lightness (light tone/dark tone) and the similarity or variety of 'tone' and 'hue' (unity, soft, varity, hard). And all of these types are made by three dominent color groups (10R, 5Y, 7.5B). The major findings are as follows; 1) The color models were defined as an effective evaluation tool for the visual effects of interior color. 2) As a result of factor analysis, four dimensions came out: 'pleasure', 'warmness', 'potency' and 'arousal'. 3) The light tone color combination types showed significant difference in 'pleasure' and 'warmness' from the dark tone groups. The light tone groups are grasped as more opened, more pleasant, more feminine, softer. On the contrary, The dark tone groups are comparatively more packed, masculine, rigid. Regarding overall circumstances, the light tone groups demonstrate bigger difference dependent on dominant colors than the dark tone groups, therefore, the property of the light tone influences on color image than any other factors. 4) Among the four combination types, unity(identity of hues-analogy of tones) revealed as the most unified images and B group was the highest grade. Moreover, it is affected a lot bydominant hue. Soft (variety of hues-analogy of tones) type shows eminently feminine, soft, and warm images. Variety (variety of hues-contrast of tones) type exhibit unnatural, artificial mood and is less affected by the dominant hues. Hard (identity of hues-contrast of tones) type is grasped as well arranged, exhibits simple and unified images. 5) General trend of the four types exhibits that harmony principle of color governs visual effect more than that of tones, for unity/Hard and Soft/Variety has similar trends.

      • Binaural beat 훈련이 골프선수들의 생리적 변화 및 골프 퍼팅수행력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to increase a efficiency on physiological reaction and putting ability of golfer when they were used Binaural-beat. Participants were fourteen man aged 21-27 years in university golfer. They were tested both before and after Binaural-beat by EEG, EMG, Heart Rate and putting of three times at 4m range. The results as follow: 1. Alpha wave was a statistical significantly increased, beta and theta wave were not statistical significantly increased when it apply the Binural-beat. 2. EMG on apply the Binural-beat was lower than meditation. Especially, there were statistical significantly difference in Trapezius and Erector spinae, were not statistical significantly difference in Tibialis anterior. 3. There was no statistical significantly difference in heart rate when it apply the Binural-beat. As this results, We Binural-beat training was given a positive influence in brain alpha wave and lower of muscles activity. Therefore, we think that it can help to concentration elevation.

      • 메탄에 의한 이산화탄소 개질반응에서 니켈 촉매의 반응특성

        A study on the reaction characteristics of nickel catalysts for carbon dioxide reforming of methane was performed. The experiments were carried out at atmospheric pressure using a fixed bed flow reactor. Effects of reaction parameters on catalytic activity and carbon deposition were investigated. The carbon deposition on the catalysts was affected by reaction conditions such as temperature, molar ratio (CO2/CH4). While the formation of coke was increased as the reaction temperature increase, it was reduced above 700℃ by reverse Boudouard reaction, which is known to cause the vaporization of carbon.

      • 이산화탄소에 의한 메탄 개질반응에서 니켈계 담지촉매의 탄소 침적에 관한 연구

        The reforming of methane by carbon dioxide is studied over nickel based catalysts, which compared the influence of the support in catalyst activity and carbon deposition. The experiments were carried out at atmospheric pressure using a fixed bad flow reactor. The catalytic activity and carbon deposition is influenced by support. The Ni/α-Al₂O₃showed high methane conversion. The Ni/La₂O₃ showed high methane conversion, but the reactor was plugged in 15 h. The carbon deposition was observed in all nickel based catalysts. Compared to Ni/α-Al₂O₃, Ni/La₂O₃, catalyst showed higher whisker carbon formation. Whisker carbon was not observed in the Ni/MnO₂. The carbon deposition of the nickel based catalysts increased in the order MnO₂〈SiO₂〈α-Al₂O₃〈TiO₂〈La₂O₃. The carbon deposition on the catalysts was affected by reaction conditions such as temperature, molar ratio(CO₂/CH₄).

      • 원발성 위암조직에서 fragile histidine triad 유전자의 이상 발현에 대한 연구

        Background : The fragile histidine triad(FHIT) gene, located at human chromosome 3p14.2, has been shown to produce aberrant transcripts in a number of human cancers. Also, FHIT protein is supposed to have tumor suppressor function. Methods : To determine the role of the FHIT gene in gastric carcinoma, FHIT mRNA transcripts were examined in 16 primary adenocarcinomas by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). Expression of FHIT protein was measured by immunohistochemistry. Results : In this study, we found normal and abnormal RT-PCR products in 7 cases, and no transcript in one case. Positive immunostaining was observed in normal gastic gland, whereas FHIT immunoreactivity was significantly decreased or absent in most cases tested. Gastric cancer is thought to be develop from carcinogenic exposure, possibly accompanying with the high frequency of the FHIT gene abnormalities. Conclusion : The above results suggest that the FHIT gene can be a preferential target of environmental carcinogens, and the FHIT inactivation may play a role in the gastric carcinogenicity.

        문화재란 문화가치가 있는 사물로서 국가 가 종교적·세속적 근거에 따라 특별히 지정 한 재산이다. 문화재는 그것이 구현하는 정신적 가치와 시각적 음향적으로 표현하는 수단으로서 그 나라의 독특하고, 다양한 주체성을 보존하는 중요한 매체이기도 하다. 그러므로 문화재는 한나라의 민족역사와 문화로서 과거의 모습을 통해 현재 그리고 나아가 미래를 연결시키는 하나의 매개체인 것이다. 또한 문화재는 그 지역민에게 향토사적 인 자긍심 및 연대의식을 고취시키는 동시에 나아가 한 나라, 세계적인 관심사로 여겨 야 할 것이다. 원적산 봉수대는 양산군청 소재지에서 북쪽으로 약 9.2㎞, 통도사입구 마을인 신평에서 남쪽으로 8㎞지점에 있다. 이 봉수대는 경상남도 기념물 제 118호로써 원적산봉수대 보존회에 의해 복원된 문화재이다. 즉 다른 지역의 문화재와 달리 잊혀 져가는 문화재의 재생을 통해 다시 태어난 문화재인 것이다. 원적산 봉수대 주변정비 기본계획의 목적 은 지역민의 자긍심으로 복원된 봉수대와 주 변과 접근로를 체계적으로 정비를 함으로써 접근성, 전통성, 보존성을 높이고자 한다. 특히, 문화재보호를 위한 제반 법규 및 현지여건에 부합하는 정비방향을 설정하고, 전문 인력과 관련문헌을 바탕으로 문화재 주변을 역사성과 주민친화성, 기능성, 관광성을 함께 갖춘 문화공간으로서의 미래지향적 문화재정비 계획을 추구하고자 한다.

      • 메탄에 의한 이산화탄소 개질반응의 탄소침적에 관한 연구

        A study on the carbon deposion of nickel catalysts for carbon dioxide reforming by methane was performed. The experiments were carried out at atmospheric pressure using a fixed bed flow reactor. The results of TEM/EDS showed that the forms of the deposited carbons were filamentous carbon and encapsulated carbon. The deposited carbon on Ni/TiO_2 revealed only encapsulated carbon. The deactivation of Ni/TiO_2 catalyst was mainly resulted from the encapsulated carbon. Encapsulated and filamentous carbon were found on Ni/α-Al_2O_3, compared to the Ni/TiO_2. The deposited carbon on Ni/La_2O_3 revealed mainly filamentous carbon. In spite of the large amount of coke formation on Ni/La_2O_3, filament carbon did not deactivate the catalyst. Using TPH results, two types of coke have been identified. One was more reactive carbidic carbon at lower temperature peak, the other was less reactive graphite one at higher temperature peak.

      • 니켈 담지촉매상에서 메탄의 이산화탄소 개질반응 : 담체 및 조촉매에 의한 탄소침적

        The reforming of methane by carbon dioxide is studied over nickel based catalysts, which compared the influence of the support and promoter on catalyst activity and carbon deposition. The experiments were carried out at atmospheric pressure using a fixed bed flow reactor. The carbon deposition was observed in all nickel based catalysts. The results of TEM/EDS showed that the forms of the deposited carbon revealed filamentous carbon and encapsulated carbon. In the Ni-K/Al2O3, its activity was maintaned over 72 hours at 700℃ without deactivation. Any type of the coke deposition was not observed on Ni-K/ Al2O3 catalyst.
