We studied the effect of mass transfer in a dryer on the condensation of amino resin mould material and the curing characteristics, and investigated the drying rate, the moisture and the curing fluidity according th the variations of the temperature and the drying media recycle volume which affects the mass transfer in the drying process. So, the result are summarized as follows: ① As the drying temperature increased to 70℃, 80℃ and 90℃ respectively, the drying rate became fast. ② In the same final drying time, the higher the drying temperature became, the more the moisture content of the urea resin mould material inceased. ③ Accordingly as the drying temperature increased, the moisture content of the drying material suddenly decreased in short drying time, but the moisture content increased when the drying time was between 80 minute and 120 minutes. ④ As the drying temperature increased, the curing fluidity of amino resin mould meterial decreased. ⑤ As the recycle volume of the drying media increased, the curing fluidity decreased.

The present study reports a case of eosinophilic granuloma of the mandibular condyle. Eosinophilic granulomas on the mandibular condyle are very rare, but there are several common clinical and radiographic presentations. The clinical presentations involve swelling on preauricular area, limitation of opening, TMJ pain, etc. The radiographic presentations involve radiolucent lytic condylar lesion with or without pathologic fracture. Sometimes new bone formations are observed. The purpose of the article is to add new cases to the literatures.

Fracture of the tibial shaft is the most common among the long bone fractures, and it is difficult to treat because of a high incidence of delayed union, nonunion and malunion. Interlocking Intramedullary mailing is considered to be valuable method in treating long bone fracture such as tibial fracture these days because it enables rigid fixation, early joint motion exercise and weight bearing. Between April 1993 and March 1997, we treated 63 cases of tibia fractures with interlocking intramedullary nailing. The results were as follows: 1. Among the 63 cases, 51 cases were closed fractures and 12 cases were open fractures. 2. Static interlocking nailing was done in all cases and dynamization was done in 7 cases in postoperative 13 weeks. 3. Average union time was 19.9 weeks, 19 weeks with closed tibia fracture and 2.4 weeks with open tibia fracture. According to fracture site, 22 weeks with proximal tibia fracture, 19.2 weeks with mid-tibia fracture and 21.4 weeks with distal tibia fracture. According to the Winquist-Hansen classification, Type I was 19.8 weeks, Type Ⅱ was 20.4 weeks, Type Ⅲ was 22 weeks and Type Ⅳ was 26 weeks. 4. Weight bearing was started at the time of subsidence of pain and tenderness of the fracture site, 11.5 weeks with closed fracture and 12.3 weeks with open fracture. 5. According to the functional result of Klemm and Borner, 44 cases were excellent, 9 cases were good, 7 cases were fair and 3 cases were poor.

The characteristics of critical spontaneous ignition of granulated activated carbon were investigated at a constant ambient temperature and sinusoidally varying ambient temperatures. As the results of the experiments, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature at the sinusoidally varying ambient tem-peratures was generally lower than that at the constant ambient temperature. At the critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased as the period increased. The critical Frank-Kameneskii's parameter δ?(εω) was determinded from the results. δ?(εω) = δ?{1-379 exp (-0.935·ω?)} δ?(εω) = δ?{1-381 exp (-0.930·ω?)} δ?(εω) = δ?{1-388 exp (-0.929·ω?)}
아크릴로니트릴 제조공정 중 혼합용매를 이용한 아세토니트릴 회수에 관한 연구

The phase equilibria of quaternary liquid-liquid extraction system composed acetonitrile- water-o-xylene-ethylacetate mixture was investigated. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe LLE data for the quaternary system containing acetonitrile aqueous solution and solvent at 25℃. We investigated that the selection of the optimum solvent to separate acetonitrile from aqueous solution. The distribution and selectivity- for quaternary system o-xylene(l)-water(2)-acetonitrile(3)-EAc(4) are increased with addition of o-xylene. These experimental tie-line data are also compared with the values predicted by UNIFAC model. It is shown that UNIFAC model is capable of predicting the tie-line in these quaternary systems within an average root mean square deviation of 3.98 mo %.

The purpose of this paper is to make some suggestions for Chinese local finance, with the experiences of Korea and Japan. Korea's local finance has developed in the direction of two polarizations, and after Asian financial crisis, experiences rapid repressions in the financial restructuring. But Japan's local finance has experienced sustainable development under the stable base. This paper summarizes four characteristics of Japan's local financial development, self development, big scale, relative high-level advantages, and contribution to regional economic development. China's local finance has grown rapidly after 1980's, although the speed of development is rapid, but the relative scale is small, compare with countrywide banks. This paper suggests four points in the basis of Korea and Japan's experiences. First, local finance is the major base in regional economic development. Second, local finance needs scale economies. Third, financial reform should take into account local finance's characteristics. Fourth, local finance plays an important roles in the development of local small and middle enterprises.

The osteochondroma, also known as osteocartilagenous exostosis, is one of the most common benign tumors of the axial skeleton, but is rarely found in the facial bones. When present, the tumor is most often reported to affect the mandibular coronoid process. Osteochondroma of the mandibular condyle is extremely rare and may cause signs and symptoms like those seen in patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Sometimes, differentiation between osteochondroma and condylar hyperplasia is not possible on histologic grounds alone, but the radiographic and intraoperative findings together are usually sufficient to establish a definite diagnosis, This report reviews the literature concerning osteochondroma, especially of the maxillofacial region, and describes a case of osteochon droma of the condyle. The spontaneous ignition characteristics according to particle size of granulated activated carbon were observed at a constant ambient temperature. As the results of the experiments at the same sample size, the ignition induction time increased as the sample vessel size increased and the critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased as the sample vessel size increased. As the sample particle size increased, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased. Apparent activation energy of the sample calculated from the Frank-Kamentskii's thermal ignition theory was 37.73 ㎉/㏖.
