This study was performed by experiments with ASTM' s apparatus for determination of autoignition temperatures to obtain autoignition characteristics of 1-Heptene, 2-Heptene and 3-Heptene, respectively. As results, minimum autoignition temperatures (MAIT) of 1-Heptene, 2-Heptene and 3-Heptene were 246℃, 248℃ and 254℃, respectively and each dropping volume of these temperatures was 0.25㎖, 0.20㎖ and 0.20㎖. Instantaneous ignition temperatures measured at each dropping volume of Heptene were 371℃, 357℃ and 342℃, respectively. Relation ignition delay time with ignition temperature at minimum autoignition temperature agreed well with Semenov's equation, and the values of apparent activation energy from this equation were 47Kcal/㏖ for 1-Heptene, 35Kcal/㏖ for 2-Heptene and 29Kcal/㏖ for 3-Heptene. It was found that the values of apparent activation energy decreased as the position of double bond changed from end to center in C-C chain.
주위온도 변화에 따른 입상활성탄의 자연발화에 관한 연구

Sponataneous ignition characteristics for granulated activated carbon were observed by performing experiments at constant ambient temperature and varying the ambient temperature sinusoidally. In case of varying the ambient temperature sinusoidally, the amplitudes of temperature were 5℃, l0℃ and 15℃ respectively, and the period in each amplitude was varied at an interval of 30minutes from zero to 3hours. As the results of experiments at a constant ambient temperature, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature of the sample decreased as the sample vessel size increased. Apparent activation energy of the sample calculated from the Frank-Kamenetskii's thermal ignition theory was 38.82[Kcal/㏖] In case of varying the ambient temperature sinusoidally, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature was lower than that at the constant ambient temperature, and the minimum critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased with the amplitude of heating sinusoidal curve. At the same amplitude, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased until it reached the minimum point and then increased as the period increased.

Spontaneous ignition characteristics were observed by performing experiments for granulated activated carbon at constant ambient temperature in an oven. As the results of the experiments, the critical spontaneous ignition temperature of sample for large, intermediate and small vessels was 158.5$^{\circ}C$ , 165.5$^{\circ}C$ and 174.5$^{\circ}C$, respectively. It was found that the critical spontaneous ignition temperature decreased and the ignition induction time increased as the sample vessel size increased. Apparent activation energy of the sample calculated from the Frank= kamenetskii's thermal ignition theory was 17.81*10$^3$J/mol.

We developed a JHPMA Information System to establish the voluntary safety management for the Paint Industry. IIPMA System means that manager, supervisor and worker on the process-line find out the hazardous and/or unsafe potentials, make improvement of the field safety by the cooperation with top manager, safety staff and eventually put in the practice. HI'MA Information System consists of functions to suggest and evaluate the safety concerns hierarchically from top manager to workers on mtemet or Intranet. We establish the safety management and sharing of the safety information and are able to find the unsafe potentials by the HPMA Information System. Also We are able to mine new safety information and establish accident prevention model by the Safety DATABASE.
