Design of Large-scale Boolean Networks Based on Prescribed Attractors
Jinfeng Pan,Jun-e Feng,Min Meng,Jianli Zhao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2018 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.16 No.3
In this paper, the problem of designing large-scale Boolean networks with prescribed attractors is considered. The obtained Boolean networks satisfy the attractor constraints, as well as that the size of the basins of attraction (BOAs) of desired attractors is at its maximum. This is achieved by network aggregation, under which desired attractors and undesired attractors can be mapped to input-state cycles in the subnetworks. The input-state cycles corresponding to desired attractors must be contained in subnetworks, and for each undesired attractor at least one input-state cycle is not contained. An algorithm is proposed to maximize the size of the BOAs of desired attractors. Finally, a practical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Jinhu Zhi,Jinfeng Chen,Qiangqing Zheng,Shuzhen Zhao,Desheng Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.9 No.3
The research put forward the concept of parasitic system for the first time and studied distribution rules of N, P and K nutrients of different soil areas and different plant tissues in the system along with changes in the tomato growth period, as well as relevance between rhizosphere soil and nutrient contents in different plant tissues. It is found in the results that when Orobanche aegyptiaca was parasitized in tomatoes and joined nutrient transmission via a certain channel, the nutrients in tomato rhizosphere soil would firstly be transported into aboveground parts and Orobanche aegyptiaca by its transfusion tissue; content changes of rapidly-available N, P and K in Orobanche aegyptiaca rhizosphere soil, tomato rhizosphere soil and non-rhizosphere soil showed certain high-low complementarity; content changing trends of N, P and K in different organs of tomatoes and Orobanche aegyptiaca had certain relations, but would differ along with variation of tomato growth period; contents of rapidly-available N and K in Orobanche aegyptiaca rhizosphere soil showed significant correlation with total contents of N and K in organs of tomato and Orobanche aegyptiaca.

( Wenjun Zhang ),( Jinfeng Zhao ),( Xuefeng Zou ) 한국화학공학회 2016 Korean Chemical Engineering Research(HWAHAK KONGHA Vol.54 No.1
A series of Ce-doped ZnO (Ce/ZnO) nanostructures were fabricated using the co-precipitation method, then a simply nontoxic hydrothermal approach was proposed for preparation of reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-Ce/ZnO composites. The synthesized composites were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) techniques and Raman pattern. The as-synthesized rGO-Ce/ZnO composites showed high photodecomposition efficiency in comparison with the rGO-ZnO, Ce/ZnO, pure ZnO under UV, visible-light and sunlight irradiation. The degradation of methylene blue (MB) (10 mg/L, 100ml) by 95.8% within 60 min by using rGO-2 (10 mg) under sunlight irradiation was observed. The repeated use of the rGO-2 was investigated, and the results showed almost no decay in the catalytic activity.

This study was designed to evaluate the gastroprotective activity of cirsilineol in hydrochloric acid (HCl)/ethanol-induced gastric ulcer model. Cirsilineol was administered at the doses of 20 and 40 mg/kg in HCl/ethanol-induced rats. The gastroprotective ability was verified by determining the ulcer score, total acidity, hemoglobin, inflammatory cytokines, lipid peroxides, and enzymatic antioxidants superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) in gastric tissue and serum biochemical analysis. The results showed a favorable increase in the hemoglobin level, antioxidant enzymes (SOD and CAT), restored electrochemical balance (carbon dioxide & anion gap) while a noticeable decrease in ulcer index, total acidity, lipid peroxides, inflammatory cytokines (interleukin-1 beta [IL-1β], IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor alpha) in rats treated with the cirsilineol. The serum biochemical analysis on liver markers (alkaline phosphatases, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase), kidney markers (urea, creatinine, albumin, globulin, total protein), and lipid profile (triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein, total cholesterol) were attenuated by cirsilineol treatment in rats. Histopathology showed enhanced gastric protection and preserved the integrity of gastric mucosa upon cirsilineol administration. These results ultimately suggest that cirsilineol has gastroprotective effects that prevent the development of gastric ulcer.
Transcriptome Profile Analysis of Cadmium Tolerance in Chinese Flowering Cabbage
Jiewei Wang,Huiyuan Li,Dandan Zou,Jinfeng Zhao,Lianxue Fan,Tao Wu 한국원예학회 2017 Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology Vol.58 No.1
Chinese flowering cabbage (Brassica parachinensis L.) is an important leafy vegetable crop that can accumulatehigh levels of cadmium (Cd) and can thus be easily contaminated by this heavy metal. In this study, we performedgenome-wide transcriptional profiling of Cd tolerance in Cd-tolerant cultivar ‘LB70’ using Solexa sequencing to identifygenes and pathways involved in Cd tolerance in Chinese flowering cabbage. Profiling analysis revealed numerous changesin gene expression in response to Cd treatment, including 1669 genes that were downregulated and 1404 genes that wereupregulated. Gene ontology analysis showed that these differentially expressed genes were mainly involved in binding, catalytic processes, metabolism, cellular processes, single-organism processes, biological regulation, localization, andstimulus responses. Several known important Cd tolerance-related genes, such as HMA3, HMA4, and Nramp1, werealso identified. Pathway analysis suggested that two potential novel pathways, namely, the viral carcinogenesis andParkinson’s disease pathways, might be involved in Cd tolerance in Chinese flowering cabbage. The genes andpathways identified in this study provide an important basis for future studies on the molecular mechanism of Cdtolerance in Chinese flowering cabbage.

Activated carbon (AC) is one of the typical adsorbents for industrial treatment of VOCs, but AC itself has ahigh calorific value. When the heat generated by low-temperature oxidation cannot be released, it is easyto store heat and oxidize spontaneously, resulting in immeasurable harm. Therefore, it is important tostudy and improve the thermal stability of AC. In this study, Mo-doped carbon quantum dots (CQDs)was synthesized to enhance the safety of AC usage. The structure of AC before and after modificationwas characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). On the modified Mo-doped CQDs/AC, there are more crystallinestructures formed by Mo oxides on the surface, which makes the intermolecular force on the surface ofAC increase. At the same time, Mo oxide has strong oxidation resistance, which can inhibit the thermaldecomposition process of AC, and has stronger stability. The spontaneous combustion tendency and thermalhazard of AC before and after modification were greatly improved. The heat released in the tolueneadsorption by the modified AC at different temperatures was significantly lower than the heat released bythe unmodified AC. According to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, the adsorption performance of ModopedCQDs (2.5 wt%) was 1.6 times higher than that of AC when the system was 25 C. The resultsshowed that Na2MoO4 CQDs modified AC could effectively improve the thermal stability and greatlyreduce the spontaneous combustion tendency. A relative fire safety performance evaluation model wasalso established to comprehensively evaluate the fire risk of VOCs treatment by AC.
A new macro-micro dual drive parallel robot for chromosome dissection
Jin Feng,Feng Gao,Xianchao Zhao,Yi Yue,Renqiang Liu 대한기계학회 2012 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.26 No.1
This paper presents a parallel-structure system dually driven by six servo motors and six piezoelectric actuators. Due to the combination of macro and micro manipulators which are both of orthogonal structures, the proposed system possesses a concise structure as well as actuation isolation and output motion decoupling properties. By using a glass needle mounted on a six-dimensional force sensor in endpoint operating, this system can be applied to chromosome dissection that to make the whole process more efficient and automatic. The glass needle tip has a stroke of 106 mm in three linear motions and 18.7-arc-degrees in three angle motion directions, with servo motors adopted. It also has the resolution of 20 nanometers with the adoption of piezoelectric actuators. The kinematics, isotropy, decoupling and design considerations of the proposed robot are discussed. Workspace and resolution of both macro and micro manipulators are measured separately. The experiments are also conducted to show its capability in dissecting chromosomes.
