      • D-Amphetamine이 니코틴성 흥분작용에 의한 카테콜아민 분비작용에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 d-arphetamine이 흰쥐의 적출부신 관류모델에서 니코틴 수용체 흥분에 의한 카테콜아민(CA) 유리작용에 미치는 영향을 검색하여 그 작용기전을 규명하고자 하였다. D-amphetamine은 흰쥐 부신정맥내로 60분간 관류시 d-amphetamine자체는 약한 CA 분비작용을 나타내었으나, d-amphetamine (30 μM)을 비롯한 강력한 neuronal nicotine 수용체 작용제인 cytisine (50 μM) 및 epibatidine (30 μM)에 의한 CA 유리작용을 처음 4-10분 동안만 유의하게 증강시켰다. 또한, d-amphetamine (30 μM)은 60분간 부신정맥 내로 관류한 상태에서 dihydropyridine L-형 칼슘통로 개방약물인 Bay-K-8644 (10 μM)과 세포질내 칼슘저장고에서 Ca^(2+) ATPase 억제제인 cyclopiazonic acid (10 μM)의 CA 유리작용을 처음 4분간만 유의하게 증강시켰다. 그러나, 고농도의 d-amphetamine (500 μM)은 상기한 모든 분비촉진제의 CA분비작용을 오히려 억제하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과로 보면, 흰쥐 관류 부신수질에서 d-amphetamine은 낮은 농도에서는 콜린성 니코틴 수용체 흥분에 의한 카테콜아민 분비반응을 증강시키지만, 고농도에서는 오히려 억제적으로 작용함을 시사한다. 따라서, d-amphetamine은 용량에 따라서 흰쥐 적출 관류부신수질의 니코틴 수용체의 작용제 및 길항제로 이중 작용(dual action)을 나타내는 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 d-amphetamine의 작용은 흰쥐 부신수질 크롬친화세포의 dihydropyridine계 L-형 칼슘통로의 활성화 및 세포 내 칼슘저장고로부터 칼슘유리작용과 관련성이 있는 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of d-amphetamine on CA release evoked by nocotinic receptor stimulation from the isolated perfused model of the rat adrenal gland, and to establish its mechanism of action. D-amphetamine(30 μM), when perfused into an adrenal vein of the rat adrenal gland for 60 min, enhanced the CA secretory responses evoked by ACh (5.32 mM), nicotine (30 μM), cytisine (50 μM, a selective neuronal nicotinic Nn-receptor agonist) and epibatidine (30 nM, a selective neuronal nicotinic Nn receptor agonist) only for the first period (4~10 min), although it alone has weak effect on CA secretion. Moreover, d-amphetamine (30 μM) in to an adrenal vein for 60 min also augmented the CA release evoked by BAY-K-8644, an activator of the dihydropyridine L-type Ca^(2+) channels, and cyclopiazonic acid, an inhibitor of cytoplasmic Ca^(2+) ATPase only for the first peroid (4 min). However, in the presence rather inhibited the CA secretory responses evoked by the above all of secretagogues. Taken together, these experimental results suggest that d-amphetamine at a low concentration enhances the CA secretion from the rat adrenal medulla evoked by stimulation of cholinergic nicotininc receptors, but at a high concentration it rather inhibits them. It semms that d-amphetamine has dual action acting as both agonist and antagonist at nicotinic receptors of the isolated perfused rat adrenal medulla, which are might be dependent on the concentration. It is also thought that these actions of d-amphetamine are probably relevant to the activation of the dihydropyridine L-type Ca^(2+) channels located on the rat adrenomedullary chromaffin cell membrane and release of Ca^(2+) from the cytoplasmic store.

        Effect of spark plasma sintering conditions on the thermoelectric properties of (Bi<sub>0.25</sub>Sb<sub>0.75</sub>)<sub>2</sub>Te<sub>3</sub> alloys

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>As a field-assisted technique, spark plasma sintering (SPS) enables densification of specimens in a very short period of time compared to other sintering techniques. For high performance thermoelectric material synthesis, SPS is widely used to fabricate nanograin-structured thermoelectric materials by rapidly densifying the nanopowders suppressing grain growth. However, the microstructural evolution behavior of thermoelectric materials by SPS, another important process during sintering, has been rarely studied. Here, we explore SPS as a tool to control the microstructure by long-time SPS. Using p-type (Bi<SUB>0.25</SUB>Sb<SUB>0.75</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>Te<SUB>3</SUB> thermoelectric materials as a model system, we systematically vary SPS temperature and time to understand the correlations between SPS conditions, microstructural evolution, and the thermoelectric properties. Our results show that the relatively low eutectic temperature (∼420 °C) and the existence of volatile tellurium (Te) are critical factors to determine both microstructure and thermoelectric property. In the liquid-phase sintering regime, rapid evaporation of Te leads to a strong dependence of thermoelectric property on SPS time. On the other hand, in the solid-phase sintering regime, there is a weak dependence on SPS time. The optimum thermoelectric figure-of-merit (Z) of 2.93 × 10<SUP>−3</SUP>/K is achieved by SPS at 500 °C for 30 min. Our results will provide an insight on the optimization of SPS conditions for materials containing volatile elements with low eutectic temperature.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Spark plasma sintering (SPS) is used to synthesize the thermoelectric (Bi<SUB>0.25</SUB>Sb<SUB>0.75</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>Te<SUB>3</SUB>. </LI> <LI> Liquid phase and volatile element are a key for the microstructure and thermoelectric property. </LI> <LI> Thermoelectric figure-of-merit of 2.9 × 10<SUP>−3</SUP>/K is achieved at 500 °C for 30 min. </LI> </UL> </P>

        빌라조경 설계사례에 관한 연구 : Case Study of Jang-chung Dong Villa

        The goal of this study is to propose a plan for the Jang-Chung Dong Villa. This Villa is located on Jang-Chung Dong Jung-Gu, Seoul. And, this place is where high-class residential area. This Site area covers about 1925.6m². This base idea of this plan is to provide a community of dwelling houses with identity and amenity in outdoor spaces in order to create the high-class environment of outdoor spaces. Design principles are established as follow; to make spaces for flexibility in the garden related activities, to provide many chances to contact with nature, and to feel pride in the villa life.

        玄胡索散의 抗血栓作用에 대한 연구

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate me effects of Hyunhosaiksan (HHS) on antithrombotic actions which include blood activation, thrombus removal, warming of circulating blood, and the control of pain on abdomen and lower and upper burning spaces. HHS significantly inhibited platelet aggregation induced by ADP and epinephrine in a HHS dose-dependent manner when analyzed by me Sigmoid Emax model in WinNonlin EC5O values of HHS were 1.71 μg/ml and 0.004 μg/ml for ADP and epinephrine respectively. In the vivo study, HHS inhibited pulmonary embolism induced by collagen and epinephrine, which was however statistically insignificant. HHS increased number of platelets, APTT and volume of fibrinogen significantly as compared with the control group in dextran-induced thrombus model. Furthermore, HHS stimulated levels of blood flow in vivo though its effect was not observed in vitro. These results suggest that Hyunhosaiksan (HHS) can be used for treating numerous diseases related with blood aggregation and circulation problems. Further systematic investigations on the synergic effects among drugs used in the oriental medicine as well as in me western medicine in relation to thrombosis therapy would provide an important insight into the potential therapeutic applications.

        측두하악장애 환자 중 하악과두의 퇴행성 골 변화를 보이는 환자의 분포 및 임상적 특징

        측두하악장애 환자 중 하악과두의 퇴행성 골 변화를 보이는 환자의 분포와 임상적 특징을 규명하고자 측두하악장애로 진단받은 6,070명의 환자들을 대상으로 연구를 시행하였다. 환자들의 초진 시 파노라마와 TMJ 파노라마 사진을 관찰하여 하악과두의 퇴행성 골 변화 유무를 기준으로 환자들을 퇴행성 골 변화를 보이는 군(DJD군)과 골 변화를 보이지 않는 군(non-DJD군)으로 나누고, 환자들의 초진 의무기록을 바탕으로 두 군 간의 특징을 비교, 분석하였으며, 각종 변수들이 DJD 발병에 미치는 상대적 위험성을 측정하기 위하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과 전체 환자 중 DJD군에 속한 환자는 31.7%였고, non-DJD군에 속하는 환자는 68.3%였다. DJD군은 성별에 따라 다른 분포를 보여 남자보다 여자의 이환율이 높았고, 10대와 20대에서 가장 높은 분포를 보였다. 환자의 내원 주소 중에서는 전치부 개방교합, 턱의 후퇴감, 안모 비대칭, 개구장애를 주소로 내원한 환자가 다른 주소로 내원한 환자들에 비해 DJD를 보일 위험성이 높았으며, 교정치료 경력이나 중심위-중심교합위 변위 그리고 염발음을 보이는 환자도 DJD군에 속할 위험성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 측두하악장애를 가진 환자 중 30세 이하의 여성이 위와 같은 임상적 특징을 보이는 경우, 교정치료를 계획할 때 DJD에 이환 되었을 가능성에 대하여 충분히 주의를 기울여야 할 것으로 생각된다. (대치교정지 2006;36(6):402-11) Objective: This study was carried out to evaluate the distribution and clinical features of patients with degenerative change of the mandibular condyle. Methods: Six thousand and seventy patients with TMD (temporomandibular disorder) were selected for this study, who had complete initial clinical records and radiographs. Panorama and TMJ panorama radiographs were used to screen the degenerative change in the condyle, and the patients were divided into DJD (degenerative joint disease) and non-DJD groups. Results: The distribution and clinical features of the two groups were compared. Out of the total number of patients, 31.7% were in the DJD group, and 68.3% were in the non-DJD group. The portion of females was larger in the DJD group (80.8%) than in the non-DJD group (67.5%), and the DJD group had high prevalence in the second and third decades. Lack of incisal contact, retrusive chin, facial asymmetry, and mouth opening limitation were the chief complaints of the patients who had positive relation to DJD. Conclusion: Patients with an orthodontic treatment history, CO-CR discrepancy and crepitation were at possible risk of having DJD. (Korean J Orthod 2006;36(6):402-11)

      • MARS를 이용한 속도검출기가 없는 유도전동기의 벡터제어에 관한 연구

        This paper describes a speed sensorless algorithm for vector control system with compensated rotor time constant variation of induction motor using a model reference adaptive system (MRAS). The proposed system is composed of two MRAS, one is a rotor speed estimation identification by a back-EMF observer, another is a rotor time constant identification by magnetizing current observer. As a result, robust field oriented control system of induction machine against paremeter variation can be realized. The suggested control strategy and estimation method have been validated by simulation study. In the simulation using Matlab/Simulink, the proposed speed sensorless vector control system operated very well in spite of variable rotor time constant and load fluctuation.

      • 담낭종양에서 CD24의 역할

        CD24 is a small heavily glycosylated glycosylphosphatidylinosito-linked cell surface protein, which is expressed in hematologic malignancies as well as in a large variety of solid tumors, It appears to function as a ligand of PUselectin, an adhesion molecule that is present in activated platelets and endothelial cells. The authors aimed to evaluate CD24 protein expression in adenoma and adenocarcinoma of gallbladder to correlate to clinicopathologic data. The staining- was evaluated as stainability (negative, weak-, moderate-, strong-positive) and staining' patterns (membranous vs. intracytoplasmic) for statistical analysis. A highly significant association of cytoplasmic CD24 expression with adenocarcinoma compared to the adenoma of gallbladder was demonstrated. The present study demonstrates that CD24 was abundantly expressed on adenocarcinoma rather than on adenoma, but it was not statistically significant, Interrelation between the stainability or intracytoplasmic staining of CD24 and lymph node metastasis was not statistically significant. The authors conclude that CD24 is involved in tumorigenesis of gallbladder mucosa and intracytoplasmic expression of CD24 is an important molecular marker for malignant transformation.

      • Jamrules를 사용해 소스파일을 재귀적으로 생성하는 Jamfile에 관한 연구^+

        파일간 종속관계와 잼룰(Jamrule) 파일에 정의된 빌드 스펙을 사용해서 소스파일을 재귀적(recursively)으로 타겟 파일로 구성하는 실행 프로그램이 잼(Jam)이다. 잼은 잼룰파일을 파싱한다. 이것은 잼이 타겟과 소스를 확인하고 타겟이 업데이트 될 필요가 있는지 결정하기 위한 파일 시스템을 검사하고 타겟을 업데이트하기 위해 운영체제 명령어들을 실행하기 위해서 이다. 잼베이스(Jambase)라고 불리는 기본적인 룰파일은 잼디스트리뷰션과 함께 제공된다. 젬베이스 파일은 컴파일, 링킹과 같은 표준 소프트웨어를 빌드하기 위한 오퍼레이션들을 지원하는 룰과 변수를 정의한다. 잼베이스룰이 사용될 때, 잼은 잼베이스를 읽고 현재 디렉토리에 잼파일을 읽는다. 이 잼파일은 그것이 속한 디렉토리에 소스파일을 가지고 무슨 일을 해야 하는지를 나타낸다. 어떤 환경 아래서 첫번째 잼파일을 읽는 과정에서 특정 위치에 있는 잼파일이 읽혀지게 되는데 잼룰파일은 특정 위치의 처리를 정의하기 위해 사용되는 룰과 변수를 정의한 선택적인 셋(set)이다. Jam, the Jam executable program, recursively builds target files from source files using dependency and build specifications defined in Jam rules files. Jam parses the rules files to identify targets and sources, examines the filesystem to determine which targets need updating, and issues OS commands to update targets. A base rules file called "Jambase" is provided with the Jam distribution. The Jambase file defines rules and variables which support standard software build operations, like compiling, linking, etc. When the Jambase rules are used, jamreads Jambase, then reads a file called "Jamfile" in the current directory. The Jamfile describes what to do with the source files in its directory. It may also cause Jamfiles in other directories to be read. Under certain circumstances, the first Jamfile read also causes a site-specific "Jamrules" file to be read. The Jamrules file is an optional set of rule and variable definitions used to define site-specific processing.

        The real-zero single sideband (RZ SSB) scheme combines the two conventional technologies: SSB signaling and FM detection, which make RZ SSB highly spectrum efficient and greatly immune to fading in the crowded mobile radio services. Due to the inherent nonlinearity in the RZ SSB scheme, however, considerable amounts of intermodulation distortion are included in the demodulated sigal. An RZ SSB linearizer to remove the distortions is implemented using DSP and the results are presented to show the effectiveness of the linearizer.

        Clomiphene citrate에 의한 배란유도 후의 임신율에 관한 연구

        From March 1990 to February 1993, we evaluated completely follow-uped 68 cases of amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, infertility(anovulation). The ratio of primary to secondary is 31: 37. Ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of 68 cases which were completely treated with clomphene citrate is 72%, 71.8% respectively. Among these 23 pregnat cases, 19 cases were full term delivered, 1 case is ongoing pregnant, and 3 cases were spontaneously aborted. No one of multiple pregnancy and congenital abnormality was noted.
